Most painful was dying to Damis. Thought I would lose my guthix prayer book, forgot about it washing ashore. Most expensive was dying vs. troll general: lost crytal bow (out of charges) and some dhide. I also lost some rune boots one time but I think I have never died and lost more than 200k

Good advice. I just hate when people complain since I always sell for mid level price per zybez or other site market prices.

You ever been so fed up with the time it takes to sell stuff (even with forums) that u high alched for less money. I went to free world to sell a Rune 2h, Scimmy and some green dhide armour. Nothin but headaches. U tell them price ahead of time and they still want to unload all their crap or low ball ya. What part of 30k for Scimmy did they not understand? Is there a better strategy for selling? Forum only? I seem to have best results for higher value items buy/sell. I had someone call me a froob for not selling them something cause he/she wanted to give me cash/items for it instead of the 140k I asked for in forum. Wish there was a better way of buying / selling on the crowded worlds cause stuff just scrolls too fast. (needle in a haystack approach_)

Same for me. I tried for days to get black mask from Cave Horrors. Finally ended up buyin from a guy fightin jungle horrors with me. We became great friends and had a mutual friend we both shared. I later got slayer assignment of Cave horrors and I got two masks in 10 min. Its all luck and perseverance.

Now that I am lvl 72 slayer, I would like to get my hands on the elusive granite legs (beats payin 2m for them). What are the best weapons/armour and backpack items for fighting these nasty critters? My guess would be Prot. from Melee prayer with Full Black Dhide, or Karils armour, abyssal whip, elemental shield, amulet of glory, mind helm, god or obby cape, ring of wealth, climbing boots, barrows gloves. For Backpack: Sharks, Prayer pots, Holy wrench?, Super Set, Restore pots, Excaliber (for defense special), DDS(for poison attacks)

I thought the whole purpose of being a PKer was to make other players mad that lose their hard earned items. Do they know how long it takes to fight in the Abyss to get those sacks back? Have they endured countless bad teams in BA to get their fighter torso or penance gloves? If pkers think they are so good, why don't they go to Duel Arena and stake. PKers are like CEOs, they earn a living off the hard work of others, not their own efforts.

I have to agree that Ring of Life is lucky for me. Never know what is out there that might overwhelm u for whatever reason. Ring of life saved me doin Fremm Isles quest when I tried getting in the wrong cave entrance and died. Also helped me out in Desert Treasure quest when I didn't get the whole Damis thing down properly. Diamonds are a guys best friend. lol

I think it is great when someone returns your items to you. My friend got pked one time cause she forgot to take off her melee gear before running nats at abyss. She was a prime target for mage pker. My bro didn't say anything to her cause he thought she knew what she was doing but he still was anxious since it was my friend not his. He was able to recover her rune helm for her. I thought that was very nice of him. I have been good friends with her entire family that plays RS now. I got a zammy page off her son for only 70k. All I can say is it pays to be nice. Many a time I remind players to eat at the Green Dragons so they don't get attacked by one of those "brave" pkers that hit u when ur down.

I got my slayer up to lvl 72 and decided I wouldn't skip these guys cause I never fought them and I wanted to train range. I spent 30K+ on broad arrows and still haven't finished the assignment. Their drops are pathetic: herbs, pineapples, nature runes, coins, and bones so far. Its bad enough u have to walk to the end of the fremminik slayer caves. Why bother with guys, cause they have high hp/ xp for slayer?

I took a dds, super set and d scimmy, and the fremmenik armour from quest/berzerker helm. I used prot from range and had no real problems. U can always try ring of recoil. DDS worked well for me. I made sure that I had auto-ret on. He freezes u but u are in melee range so u can still hit the poor troll king. U can get 2 prayer pots, 4 tuna and 1 Str pot for free when u first enter the cave. Make sure u go to the right cave. The middle of the three will kill u quick. Cave entrance is on far ne side of the islands.

Now that I have done the quest, what the heck do I use the spells for? I did the quest last night. Took about 3hrs. TG friends and guides available for help with the math quiz. I see there are some spells that are good for Dagganoth hunting trips. But I don't see how healing spells work, do the hits u give to ur friends come out of your health? Most of the crafting spells take more runes than its worth unless u hav a mud staff. Any general advice is welcome. Is there fairy ring to island as well?

Catch a bunch of lobsters and then go to Burthorpe to cook them. Then go to Catherby or Guild and trade cooked for raw.

Shadow warriors drop the whole gambit of items, - runes, wpns, herbs, bars. The bank is just upstairs so makes it easy to bank drops. They don't hit all that often so u do need to bring food. The chance of getting a dragon half shield is about same as needle in a haystack.

You get the elf teleport crystal (4) for starting the quest. I know that u can get in recharged for 750 gp the first time. I havent seen Elruned to recharge mine. Most of the tiny elf crystals that are dropped have zero or 1 charge. Definately best place to get flax in RS. You can also train upstairs using altar/prot. from range on the one archer guard for easy xp.

Range is pretty boring. Train on something that provides good drops to break up the boredom. I like fire giants and troll generals. Both allow me with safe spots with little need of food. Or Blue Dragons in Heroes Guild. Fire giants drop half keys, rune arrows, gold, steel bars, blood runes, fire runes, rune scimmy and rune med (dragon drops are few and far between). Troll generals drop granite shields, and mith/steel stuff.

Run nature runes and sell them. 400 k per hour

You don't have to spend any money if you use Tears of Guthix and genies the whole way. Just get Hunter and Farming up above Construction lvl. lol

I use Black or Blue dhide, mind shield and helm, boots of ikov, brass pickaxe. If u have 48 construction u can put a glory on the wall and just tele to ur house insteady of wearing that ammy that the pkers want. Also take ectophile if they try snaring u first.

I use rapid 100% of the time. It is just faster but don't know the minus for the speed tradeoff. With Rangin, Ava's Accumulator is a must. +4 to hit and don't have to pick up as many arrows/lose arrows. I use steel or mith cause I get free steel arrows from cape and have tons of steel bars from fire giants.

Do Royal Trouble, U will have more coal then u know what to do with. I have 12k and still havent done one bar. lol

I had trouble with Damis cause I couldn't manage the spells / prayer cause of all those stupid skellies gettin in the way. But once my friends helped me out it was easy. I just went to that lil room in the nw corner and had him all to myself (turned autoretaliate on and just let the magic do all the work). The first time I fought Dessous I had too much p pots and not enough food. I just used whip and full rune armour with prot from range. I got the chest opened on the first try with the min. thieving lvl 53. I used a bandit brew before I tried so maybe that did the trick? With all the villians, your friends can come along and bring food for you and super sets also.

I agree with the Wolf analogy. I have never asked for a fight, nor been prepared for one in the wild ( other than for running). My first experience was doing a level 3 clue scroll (2 hrs and 3 trips in the wild only to be pked cause I couldnt find correct spot to dig- even with guide). I have no sympathy for pkers not getting untradeables but agree they should make these items like the dlong, dscimmy. That way the would be quickly replaceable if lost/stolen. I have never pked but once I get my mage up to 85 then let the retribution begin. Can't wait to get at those RC pkers and other "wolves". I particularly like those brave pkers that pk non-macroers at the green dragons cause they didn't eat fast enough or keep their health maxed out.

Go with a friend is my advice. Take the Ape Atoll teleport if available. For Ape gree gree, kill one of the gorillas with a friend since they like to heal themselves when u fightin them one on one. They hit hard so just use prayer, strength and reflexes. For Ninja Gree Gree, kill any level 149 Monkey( one upstairs of the prayer alter near ladder of death). Or u can kill one near statue of Mariml Just turn of prayer prot from range and have in follow u into the building n of statue and then kill him with prot from melee. For Zombie Gree Gree, just kill one of the monkeys in the guantlet (dungeoun passageway) on way to gnome mage. It is easy to kill one. If u need other help pm me during game. Great place to train combat with prayer.

Easiest method is to just chop down the lone teak tree that is sw of Castle Wars. U can use ring of dueling to get back quickly. I tried doing the ones in the Kharzi Jungle but hacking thru the bush every time is just too slow. Or u can access the one near village with Trading sticks obtained by killing jogres?

So the shop only buys chaos runes? Or is it because u can obtain them for cheaper than other methods?
