Dont give up cause u lost some rune armour. I lost whip, glory, runes, obby shield, karil top and skirt. And Im still doing barrows. I learned my lesson to always pray on Karil and sale eat when i can. Dont be afraid to leave and come back. So far five barrows drops and 5m worth of goodies.

I think that they should get banned like those idiot lurers if they try to teleother or block your health bar on purpose. I guess they hangout at Dharok's in hopes u forgot to turn on prayer?

Has anyone ever seen players who just hang out at places: just in the hopes that someone dies? I have seen lots of death piles at Ape Atoll (near the ladder people have to get down for monkey madness to Monkey speak amulet). I have never gone Dking so I dont' know all what the luring is about but sounds pretty petty (only 2nd to pking rcers/orb chargers) Or the people that like to go to barrows and hover over ur character so u can see ur health bar. Best spot for that wuold be Karil's tomb (since he is most deady if u dont have prayer on besides Dharok)

Would have been more fun if they gave u a ring that changed u into the evil chicken so u could scare people.

If u start Lunar Diplomacy u can get on ship that the Lonar guy drops u off at with his lil row boat. Numerous tar barrels to choose from. Ones downstairs are 3 close by

I borrowed the idea from another tip it member. I go to Waterbirth island cruise ship and gather around 600+ tar per hour. Then mix with my vast supply of harralander. Once I'm in the barrows, I just have my guthan's or fighter torso, glory, etc. I can use flare on Ahrim and torch on all the other brothers (mage). I can hit 20s with the weapon. My questions is there a fast place to gather harralander once I run out. Has anyone else been successful with this method? I can go the whole trip without a prayer pot if i dont get karil in the tunnels. The others I just eat food and "safe spot". I take along my slayer staff just for safe spotting. I have tried DDS on Karil with mixed results. Either kill him with the specials or dont hit jack. Any pointers as far as attack style? I use super attack and defense usually with it to kill creatures faster.

We all had to endure it. I even used summer pies and still took forever. And the good news is u have to do it again for the fifth door. lol. Just stick with it. By far the worst part of the quest, other than getting all the junk for the dwarf at the end.

Can u have more than one pair of penance gloves or fighter torso? I did BA for like a whole week. World 6 and 9. If u try with team with lower level than 80 they die too quick from queen. I want to go back to BA to get another pair of p gloves for my bro that got pked and my gf who hasnt done it either.

I just started a log of barrows runs. I have done 3 runs with over 20 KC. Will post the results when I get twenty runs. Average: 80 Deaths, 300 Minds, 37 Bolt racks, 43 bloods. 130 chaos, 800 gp

I was barrowing today on my third run. While searching for the treasure room, all of a sudden I see rune platebody lying on the floor next to the door. I start clickin like a mad man cause I didnt see the owner die. Rune Plate body, legs; Mystic hat, boots and gloves; Full Black dhide set, Dragon Mace, Glory, Ring of wealth (proves it was a noob) and 58 Addy arrows. So after I click thru all that gear, I see shark but it fades away. My discussion is this? Should I have right clicked to see if anything obvious for the taking is available first? Does the pile get sorted in any kind of order (high to low value)? Was sorry I didn't see the owner. Might have been good opportunity to make a new friend. Didnt get jack when I searched the chest but 200k worth of goodies is nice reward. But I sure hate merchanting.

The best design is not always the best looking (symetrically). I have a design with the following in mind: Most of basic rooms on the main floor. Portal Chamber, chapel, study, quest hall, skill halls all within one room of the garden/exit portal. Portal Chamber with Canafis bar teleport next to Chapel. Dining room and kitchen near workshop for quick access to servant (tea, supplies, entertaining. Games room and combat rooms near each other Study near portal so friends can make tele tablets quickly. Quest hall near garden/exit portal for quick tele to Edgeville. Will try to post pic when i get to my home pc. Total cost for 20 rooms: 832k gp Throne room, 2 combat rooms, games room, 3 portal chambers, quest hall, parlour, formal garden, 2 bedrooms, costume room, study, garden, skill hall, workshop, dining room, kitchen, chapel.

Someone should just post a picture of the most functional house for others to copy then we wont waste money furnishing til we get it right the first time. lol

If u use ferrets, how many should u start with per trip? Can ur friend flush them into ur snares? I found the ferrets to be fast but there is a lot of dropping involved with rabbits unless u have friend there to cook them for u to lvl up cooking.

You shouldnt have a problem if u have a good team. Hardest thing about BA is most players too stupid to use horn and watch info screen to see what monster types are left. If u start off something easy like collector or healer u wont get hit as much. In later levels u get two healers for a good team. Take excalibre with u so u can do the special at the beg of each round. Since ur defense is pretty low compared to ur other stats. Get on a team with lvl 90s and above and u will have no problem cause healers will be more likely healing u then them.

I made it up to lvl 63 finally. Was using spot 1 and 2 til now. Now that I have the guide printed out, I can use spot #4. Since at the "noob" spots some jerk name Legolas#### seems to like to lay his traps right next to mine in world 97 all the time. Great guide. I have caught 200 red chompas so hope to find the best monster to use them on in conjuction with my slayer/range training. Might try on shadow warriors since they stick together and have nice drops. Might be good to try on ankous also.

Mine silver and gold in craft guild if needed use ballons to return from CW.

Near entrance to Keldarim and Polar hunting grounds is a fairy ring. There is 8 seaweed respawns there and easy banking at zanaris.

Very good reading. I hang out in worl 97 and have been pked twice by teleblock. Even with having mind shield/helm, and full b dhide/glory and spotted cape. I will start using my bear hood, and holy book and use ring of life and house teles

What u have to wear to get the spells to go off successfully? I can wear barrows top and bottom and Granite shield and still hit with slayer dart. If u wear mystic or mage gear to cast fire bolt, don't u have to pray most of the time? I only pray on Dharok and Karil tomb.

Does your magic attack value come into play with Slayer Dart? I haven't seen any concrete analysis.

I enjoyed your guide and hate those folks that criticize (when they could be adding useful insights instead) I am currently using the following setup: Neiteznot Helm Slayer staff Glory Zammy book Fighter Torso Rune Legs Rune boots Ring of recoil Packing: Magic shortbow House tele runes (law/dust) Black dhide top and bottom Prayer pot (just in case) Super attack and str D Scimmy Granite shield Ecto (in case poop hits the fan) Monkfish for rest I died once to Karil (chattin when i should have been eatin lol). So lost numerous goodies = whip, karils top and bottom, glory, obby shield, etc I have Dharoks plate, guthans skirt in bank. Should I be using that instead? I hope to replace my obby shield soon too. TG after I died, I did a level 2 TT worth 1M. My question is, with my stats, do I need to boost my mage to finish off the brothers using prayer faster? (ie Dharok, Karil) How do I deal with those annoying stat reducing hits (agility from Karils and Str from Ahrim)?

You have to wait til gorilla guards are totally out of the hallway and follow him back til he is with the other guard. Then use prot from missles til u can hide in the tall grass and work ur way around in the grass til ur behind the warehouse.

here is what i did. with a lil help from a new friend. I made it to the trelis. Then once both guards were in the northern middle section I ran into the bedroom on the left side. U have to patiently wait there until both guards are on the patio then run to the room to the north (next to stairs). You will kill the rat(s) there and then go down the ladder to kill the remaining ones on that side of the mansion (two rooms). Once u completely kill the rats on both levels u will have to run to the opposite bedroom without getting caught. You run behind the middle dividing wall and try to get to bedroom without gettin getting detected. Once u get there u just kill the last rat(s) and tele out. That is by far the worst part of the quest (other than tryin to kill 8 rats with a kitten lol). Carry your cat before u run so it wont get stuck behind a wall while following u.
