  1. Saw that live on TV at breakfast, don't know much about it tbh.
  2. So many admins I've loved to see mod and/or post on here are gone. It makes me feel old on here. =S Ard, Trip, Sith, Albosky to name a few. Next generation of admins, for the win! You're not the only one, lol. Don't forget Lightning, she was an admin amirite?
  3. Hey Thru, any chance I could ask you to use a render from another place, with transparancy and all that crap from another source other than PR?
  4. Look at his profile, his rank isn't "Banned" anymore, it's back to Troll General. I don't know what that means.
  5. Hmm, I still haven't given up on GIMP and I have PS CS3 extended. I use both all the time, there are some things that photoshop can't do that GIMP can really, like the pentool. I hate the photoshop version, GIMP developers did an awesome job of merging all the different PS pentool functions into one. But then PS has auto curves, vector masks, 3D features, better animation tools, layer styles, panorama automation, etc. etc. etc. Maybe one day, I hope it's soon. GIMP ftw.
  6. Ha ha, I remember my first sigs. And they're only like a year old, I'll have to post them. They're awful.
  7. Well, 6 mp just doesn't do it for one. (I have a d40) I want a camera that can shoot all kinds of things, I'm a big fan of both panoramas and macros. Also, the camera isn't actually mine, it's actually my dad's, but I'm the only one who really uses it. Which doesn't mean that it's available all the time like a camera of my own would be.
  8. TBH I wouldn't mind being pelted with pms, I'm not the kind of person that generally is. I don't think I'll have a use for the hide feature anytime soon.
  9. Sorry for double post but I wanted to bump it. I'm thinking of upgrading my stuff, for something like 600-700, I don't have any lenses by Nikon other than the 18-55mm stock lens, so switching brands is no problem. I'm looking for something at least 10, prefferably 12 mp, that can shoot in raw. A camera like the Canon 450d. Any help? Thanks.
  10. I was wondering where you had been, didn't know you posted on the gallery at all. I'm on a public computer, can't look through everything for cc, but I looked through some and they're looking pretty good.
  11. Have to say that's quite amusing. Oh well, it won't hurt anyone.
  12. Yeah, because creating new usergroups is so scary... :P (Having done that myself, I know what you mean. It's a pain in the neck.) And which forum were you using at that time? It's nowhere 'pain in the neck' lol. Click, click, click, enter click done >_> When you have people in multiple usergroups I have seen permission masks conflict, using PHPBB3. Note to admins: Please increase the allowed nested quote count to 5 or something. Pre-rollback it was 30 and we did just fine.
  13. I do remember a discussion about the purported existence of such a forum. I think someone may have even confirmed it. . . That turned pretty nasty, whether the thing exists or not. What kind of an idea would that be, to create a forum like that, seriously it would be extremely elitest. I think this discussion is turning into suspicion or something, people are going to think that there's some big undercover forum in TIF.
  14. Hmm, well deserved after all that work on the dynamic sigs.
  15. www.deviantart.com Has some good tutorials.[/gallery stereotype] Just do a search for "Gimp signature tutorial" or something like that.
  16. Yeah, wouldn't that be awesome lol. Although I like the mightiest roar better. :-#
  17. I would like to, but unfortunately I won't be back for about a week. And who knows where my signature artist skills will be by then. Take someone else.
  18. Hmm, how about we change it to something lower? Would give a more accurate idea of who is online, I often log in for less than 5 minutes. 2 or 3 minutes maybe? I can't imagine why it would be changed otherwise. We have maybe 1 or 2k semi-active and active users together, we'll be fine. Sure, we have nothing to lose. We don't happen to have anything to gain by doing that either.
  19. No, it has more to do with [un]common sense.
  20. Obama FTW. I suppose most people know my reasons already.
  21. Hmm, limitless. I don't know. Well, if the people that were being talked about couldn't see it, then what would be the problem? Nothing, I don't think.
  22. I have to agree with you on it not happening. If OT was transformed to be an invitation-sort of thing, it would probably just turn into an elitist community. I don't think the mods would let that happen. Too true. People would probably debate as to what level of maturity would be required, which would probably end messily.
  23. Or, you know, only let in those that are known to be mature, non-spammy posters. Yes, but that would take an even greater effort on the mods and admins part. That's the only reason why I suggested just a post count limit, it should be able to be set up to give access to anyone with a certain amount of posts. If you had the admins do it manually, how long do you think it would take to go through all 167,205 accounts? (though a lot are inactive, by a lot I mean like 160,000 atleast #-o ) I don't think that the staff would go through every account, they would probably get some obviously mature people to start it then have them nominate others, most likely through voting. A more fair and democratic way, I think. But I doubt it will ever happen.
  24. Due to a glitch in the PHPBB2-PHPBB3 conversion software.
