  1. 2/10 Got to do something while I wait for the next PHP6 snapshot (In 5 minutes)
  2. iTunes? Just stop it from syncing on plugin and then copy.
  3. Indeed, IE is so tightly integrated with Windows that if a hacker gains control of IE, they can use certain exploits to gain control of the rest of the operating system. Firefox not only is decoupled from the operating system and more secure in itself but gets security patches much sooner than IE.
  4. Start working. Nobody ever learned an instrument by standing around.
  5. ^ Don't have no s to speak of. :( I haven't tried WLAN on 9.04, will do when I get it on my laptop. My brother and I are upgrading our respective computers right now, not like fi.archive.ubuntu.com isn't tormented enough already with everyone upgrading. Currently getting 40kbps. :|
  6. ^ Post here if you have questions about that, it's a pretty simple process though. :)
  7. Edit: On second thought actually this thread probably should be locked...
  8. Amen. There's nothing that can fix OT right now. It has descended into helplessness and I don't see it coming out for a while. I know I've said before that it was a stage that OT was going through but this is deeper than that.
  9. Just got released. :D update-manager -d in a terminal to update. Thoughts on it? I think the most major change to Ubuntu was OOo3, and for Kubuntu KDE 4.2. They updated GIMP to something a bit more recent than 2.6.1. I checked the repositories beforehand, we're still stuck with php5.2.6-ubuntu whatever, but that's what /etc/apt/sources.list is for. :P Opinions?
  10. But the question is, would it work with Mac OS X too? My guess is actually that it would, since the definition of a bootable drive is just some certain amount of data on the first spaces that ends in some hex signature.
  11. Direct a full symphony orchestra.
  12. The trick is to test and try until you find your personal optimal combination, then only use those that you need. Your browser will still be fast.

Don't know about you... But I tried a d300 and I felt right at home. What I would do for one of those...

I don't know what that is, so ?/10.
  15. That's really really old.
  16. I'm afraid you're stuck with it, IE is so integrated into Windows that other programs very likely require it (Or some libraries it introduces) to run.
  17. I'm usually an advocate of free open source software but Windows movie maker works great for simple videos.
  18. phpBB doesn't even have this feature. It has been discussed before anyway and it was decided to be unfair.

"Be lazy, Be naïve, Make an idiot of yourself while people watch."
  20. ...What? It's a default feature in Blender... :? Which is a good thing because I would probably do it pretty badly. :XD:
  21. It can also mean that the user never noticed the message because "Pop up on new PM" is set to no. Unfortunately, phpBB3 doesn't set "Pop up on new PM" to yes by default.
  22. ^ Personally I would recommend W3schools ( http://w3schools.org/css ), it's from the W3 Consortium. Basically the people that invented the intertubes.
  23. Agreed. This is what my schedule would look like: Wake up Go to sleep.
