The Metric System
Ireland did it. And seriously, that's not too hard. Sweden switched sides of the road in 1963. The metric system is far, far more logical. Don't forget that Liters are also part of it, which makes it even easier. (1l = 1 dm³) I agree that the UK should switch to the Euro.

North Korea launches a rocket
I actually heard that theory before. The missing part, however, is a Hitler lurking in the background.

What is off topic coming to?
I don't get what's so hard to understand about "What OT is coming to"; In come the trolls, out go the regulars. Trolls stop/get banned/whatever, the regulars get back in. Repeat.

Inspiration Vacation Planners [WEB INTERFACE]
Commented on it on dA already as you noticed, but I should probably add that this should not be coded in flash as the footer suggests. HTML and CSS are not hard (It's just Internet Explorer that screw them so badly.) Here are a few tutorials from the W3C: http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp

Tip.It's Firefox Customizing & Tips Thread!
Greasemonkey - Use JavaScript to customize webpages. My favorite scripts for it are phpBB3 quick edit and ( :-$ ) phpBB3 quick reply. Hide menubar - Takes away the Firefox menubar (Until you press the ALT key), which most people hardly ever use. Flashgot - Download manager for Firefox. Which sounds really boring until you realize that if you have, for example, aria2c, you can get segmented downloads. (Segmented: Makes two or more connections to the server, splits the download in two and puts it back together when it's done on your side. If a server is limiting your download speed you can double it this way.)

Developing the Superhuman
I can't seem to visualize voices I'm used to (Like those of my family), but for strange voices or voices that stand out it's usually pretty clear.
-
Developing the Superhuman
I have strong synesthesia. :D It's like having an iTunes visualizer in your head, just far, FAR more complicated and four dimensional. If the fourth dimension is time, anyway.

If you could have a custom rank...
I have two more that are really nerdy and nobody understands, but I must post them here anyway. #1: $ cd /mordor bash: cd: One does not simply cd into Mordor #2: $ ssh dsavi_x4@Mordor ssh: One does not simply ssh into Mordor

Help a newbie with HTML/JavaScript
^ You could use tags to do the contents, but the actual dropdowns would have to be done with CSS/JavaScript.

Installing Linux on my main computer... Would it be wise?
^ I have had the reverse experience. Ubuntu is running right now on my laptop, 366MhZ/256mb/no graphics right now. I use it as a small LAMP server. I hold the truth to be self-evident: Ubuntu is not bloatware. Install Fluxbox and it's even faster. I have had to search for one particularly weird driver, but other than that compatibility has been flawless.

Installing Linux on my main computer... Would it be wise?
Firefox and Thunderbird were written for Linux. :P And later ported to Windows. Yes. However, you may need a special program to mount an ext3 partition. (But that's nothing difficult) Here's what I would do: (Answer to question #1 also) Keep Windows, but shrink the partition and devote a large portion of your HDD to Linux. That way you don't need to worry about functionality. It's a pain to reboot I know, but right now WINE isn't exactly the greatest (Even though it can do some pretty cool things) and it will save you a lot of headaches in technical problems and compatibility issues. As for a Linux distribution, I agree that Ubuntu is for you. Excellent hardware compatibility and easy to learn on, huge software repository and very difficult to break. (Although I have managed to do it :P ) I hate to be nitpicky like this but please don't call it "Linux Ubuntu", rather "Ubuntu" or "Ubuntu GNU/Linux". It just annoys me so. :P

You cannot make another post so soon after your last.
With the current system it is not practical, as users would have to be added to a group manually. I doubt you'll get anyone to install a mod (Unless you're really convincing.) Also, 60 seconds is fine.

Some poster/flyer stuff
Only thing I would change is the font, it doesn't fit in with the background. Otherwise great work

what you wear?
I couldn't care less what I wear, as long as it doesn't make me look like an idiot. Except for my shirt that DementedHero (Of these forums) designed.

Unfound Rule - Needed Rule
You don't seem to understand what the GPL is. The GPL is a software license, not a terms of service. The GPL is so copyleft that there's practically only one way to violate it, and that's by redistributing a program licensed under the GPL without making full source code easy to find.

what operating system do you use!!
Really, I don't trust any anti virus on Windows that I don't pay for.

Ask your questions or sig resizing here!
WHAT! I thought you were a mod... I'm guessing he's taking a break from modding, Rainy did it for a while too.

No doubt about that. I guess Ms is getting back at making good products so they don't lose more people to Linux and Mac. I'd rather use only Linux myself, but I need Photoshop. :( Paying for anti virus really sucks (Even though it's my dad that pays for it) and I can't speed up my system by reinstalling until Photoshop will let me unregister it.
