Just because they want to up the maturity of the game as a whole doesn't mean you can start insulting people, even if they did start it. Part of being mature is knowing when to just walk away, or use the ignore list. That being said, my guess is that an overzealous player mod heard you or that the things you said are much worse than you are making them out to be. At least it's only 24 hours.

In theory it would work, but people join merchant clans to make THEMSELVES money. They don't particularly care about anyone else, so you'll always have someone trying to profit off the clan as a whole.

I don't share my account I have updated antivirus etc.. I have Recoverys I don't visit dodgy sites etc etc etc etc my 20 character alphanumerical random string password was still cracked to gain access to my account..twice..(yes different password both times) I Just go on prolonged breaks until i decide i can be bothered to play again Not to be a jerk, but a 20 string alpha numerical has 6.87e46 different combinations. At the rate of 10 guesses per second, it would take 2.17e38 years to crack a password like that. That's 1.58e28 times as old as the universe. That isn't even figuring in the fact that you are only allowed to many wrong guesses a minute logging into Runescape. People aren't guessing your password, you're doing something wrong.

I don't agree with the summoning part, because I would consider the charm gathering part of the time spent working on the skill :P If you've got the money, 99 smithing can be done in less than a week now with adamantite plates.

This is wrong. Sorry, but once you hit max level all mages of the same spec have the same enchants, inscriptions, armor (if their raid progression is the same), etc.. Same with every other class. The only way to customize is with different specs, but even then, if you want to get into a serious raid guild, every class is going to be specced the same as other people in their class. Right now, any mage who raids as anything other than frostfire bolt is killing their dps on raid bosses. WoW's combat is nothing special either. Personally, I was a mage. You know what I did? Living Bomb, Scorch, Scorch, then spam Frostfire Bolt, refreshing LB and scorch debuff when necessary. It's just as repetitive as Runescape combat. My armory, in case you were wondering. It wouldn't be a bad thing to drop into the suggestion forum. They could make it another tab in the Quest menu like they did with the diaries.

Could be doing something =/= actually doing it. You're playing a video game, not writing code or handling a server for a million dollar company. There is no comparison.

The fact that you priced your time at 40$/hour because you can make that at a computer job is ridiculous. Its like saying you worked at Mcdonalds, but because you could make 40$/hour at another job, you think your time at a crappy job is equivalently important. Dumb. Back on topic, as crazy as it sounds, I would have a hard time dropping this account for anything less than 2500$ (hypothetically of course, no one would pay that). Even then, I *think* I would still regret letting it go. It may just be a stupid game, but it's given me a lot of enjoyment over the years.

I'd like the fullscreen to be windowed. It's my only complaint. Can't even use a messenger program because if someone messages you, the screen shrinks down. It gets to be a pain after a while.

I guess I dont understand the concept. If I buy an addy cane and 200k in junk for 500k, then I have the cane, and I have another 200k in junk THAT I CAN USE AGAIN IN ANOTHER TRADE. How is this unfair? All you are doing it turning a previously useless item into currency.

Im going to have to say that I like Jagex and I respect them for going out on a limb with those updates. It had to have been hard knowing that they were angering a somewhat large percentage of their members, but they knew what had to be done to stop Runescape from becoming another game filled with cheaters like Diablo 2. The changes happened more than 6 months ago, with various things implemented to *try* and fix some things they knew needed to be removed even though popular opinion would not have agreed. Honestly, I think its time to get over it. Things change. You will change. Its part of life. You have to learn to deal with it or you get left behind.

I do have PCI-x and an AGP slot, but I also have the standard 3 PCI slots. I didnt have money to buy a video card yet, so I am using the onboard card, but I wanted to rip the 5200 out of my old computer and go dual with this computer as well.

You can run two monitors on two cards at the same time.. I did it on my old computer. I used the same Geforce 5200x and the onboard on Dell Dimension B110. My question now is how do I do the same thing on my newer computer? Is there a way to re-enable onboard after it shuts it down?

SO I just recently built a new computer and I have 2 screens from my last computer that I want to use. On my old computer, All I had to do was right click the desktop and enable both of the screens, but when I plug in the PCI card to this computer and try to use that plus the onboard graphics, the onboard gets disabled and wont work. Any ideas how to turn it back on? My mobo is PCCHIPS A13g+ and the extra video card is a cheapy geforce 5200X that I just want to use for internet and stuff.

People also didn't drop items/gold on WoW when they got pked... Its irrelevant.
