How is it common sense? Common sense would dictates that just because something is covered in gold doesn't make it usable to more people. I would say ALWAYS buy your p ess, never mine it yourself. At 50 RC, it's about 300k per hour. 2k ess takes about, 2 hours? to mine? In that time you could make double your total profit. I thought it was only bots that mined ess :shock:

Uhm, I can tell you that even with 99 def and armour much better than rune, I still get hit more often than I'd like. You'd be much better off getting 99 att or str.

I think you're mixing 2 things up. You can pay a farmer 2k(?) to chop your tree down, but you won't get the roots, and you can also pay them to watch over your tree, so it won't get diseased.
