Banned because I took the guile hero route towards slaying the dragon instead of the knight in shining armor route. Everything went exactly as planned: the people are safe (and will be eating dragon steaks for months) and I wasn't roasted in a tin suit. Can't ask for a better outcome.

When does that phrase stop being a reasonable response to every concern? I get that high level stuff is supposed to be exclusive, but I don't think I've ever seen that phrase used as anything other than a condescending way to shove aside anyone who doesn't like the idea of spending a thousand hours to earn the "right" to grind for a thousand more. How much is too much?

If they're going to keep shoving arbitrarily high level content down our throats, the least they could do is make it so that you have a chance to play it without essentially selling your soul to the game.

They've also jumped through hoops to ensure that you could afford every reward from at least one side, in addition to making it reasonable for players to cap daily. I get the impression that the discount for the previous event had a lot to do with how much of a grind the points were.
