Like in the gold rushes, companies that got really rich off of it were the companies producing beef to feed the miners. I have never bothered to PK because I knew from the start it wouldn't be that good money, and I don't do it for fun because if you look at the majority of the idiots in the wilderness, it doesn't make it very fun. The only time I ever go into the wilderness is to train on greater demons, and the only time I am ever near one, I am usually outrunning him (or her).

Jagex has already stated that they are not doing any updates for f2p becuase they just dont want to. They'd rather do updates for members, and besides, if you can't afford $5 a month, you shouldn't even have internet.. I know there are certain circumstances where some people just can't get it, but for most of you, seriously now, its ONLY $5 a month. Quit your WoW account and make 3 RS ones -.-' Plus, about half if not more, of f2per's are either bots or chinese people, so whats the point of updating it anyways? To be honest, I have once held more money than you will ever make in your entire lifetime. The people that you say can't afford the price of the subscription are a minority. How do you know that the people who play Runescape who can't afford membership just automatically have a World of Warcraft account? I doubt most of them even have a World of Warcraft account. Really? I think it sounds cool. How about another special is you can throw the spear at your opponent and it will hook around him and you can grab the other side. You can use the rope attached to yank your oppopnent close to you and jam the spear into them inflicting a good amount of damage and the hit can never miss. How about when you use it with the Toktz-ket-xil, it will not reduce the accuracy when equipped as opposed to using a rune kiteshield. The [bleep]es on the Toktz-ket-xil will help the spear thrust me more accurate. Also if you have the Obsidian cape it upgrades your accuracy with the spear.

Ok. Making duplicates of the runes does not help. You will still get the same xp for making 28 air runes or 140. I would say the body altar is the best for runecrafting exp, but not money. As for adamant ores, The best would be the wilderness, but seeing how you don't want to go there, I would say probably the Lumbridge Swamp mine or the Dwarven mine. But, one spot that is really not that well known is the Edgeville mine.
