I guess you figured it out, but as long as you don't click Continue on the final chat screen of the butler he stays right beside you. As soon as you get the materials from him just start building. Great job on 75 cons :)

If you take a look at all the best mage stakers, they have 99 def, 99 hits, 99 mage and low att/str. Low to no prayer. But grats on doing dt at such a low combat.

Plenty of D Axes from DKs, a skirt from irons and a med from rex :)
