My only problem is there's not really any animation, movement wise. It's obvious you didn't draw the characters or only modified them because the only animation is with them completely still or moving their whole body. It's kind of boring since they don't do anything..The guy's attack is just light that comes from his staff. He needs to atleast swing his arms or something...

Do you not have another program like Photoshop or PSP? If not try getting a free trial or the "Gimp", it's free. Just render with a high resolution setting in max and then resize the file in the other program.

And you dont' understand. HE made nothing that was vector. He used brushes meaning he didn't have to do anything for those. And the monkey is still a raster not vector image. It is a tutorial that gives you a "fake" vector. Therefor, he did nothing that was vector. John, that owns :). Pretty sure I've seen it before though.

Yeah that's why I've heard from many reliable sources the exact opposite of what that article says. If you're going ot be a fanboy learn that "provably" isn't a word so you can atleast carry on a decent argument. Sounds to me like cabbage sent a little money their way... If you are using photoshop, pretty much use the pen tool to make the whole sig. Vectors are actually images that can be resized whenever. They will not get blurry or show pixels. Browse the vector art section at dA and maybe you can get a hint of what it is: http://browse.deviantart.com/digitalart/vector/

I'm trying to be as nice as I can here, but you're not understanding something. Getting familiar witht he art of vectoring requires you to make your own vectors. Using a vector brush and making a real vector are two completely different things.

Well, then you didn't make any vector parts of this sig. You used brushes and a fake vector tutorial on how to make the monkey...I'm sorry, but I don't see how you did anything. And yes people usually don't give credit when the should, but the brushes make up the whole sig.

Vectorized it..? Did you do that fake vector thing with tutorials or use the pen tool on it? It does look pretty good the monkey is just real rough..so I'm thinking you did the filter thing.
