Gradient shading never looks good. It's so flat.

The style is very similar to: It's obvious you didn't actually copy or rip so I'm not getting mad at you. Yours looks good it just resembles sunwarriord's too much for me. Gloves are the same. Armor is very close and is shaded the same. The face is similar but a little different.

Not good enough? Sigh..smart people and their high expectations. My goal was a 2000 when I took it and got a 1930. I got a 1220 on the old one so I believe that I did better. I'll probably go for a 2050 next time.

Never said you couldn't have your own community..I tried this same thing once. My real problem here is that, no offense to any of you, but if I'm going to be somewhere dedicated to art and have people that are admins and mods that aren't very good it's discomforting or they should atleast have a lot of knowledge in many mediums. This refers to my comment about the banner and looksie at who is in charge. For instance, if you got to a computer tech forum then the people with power should be the people who are very skilled in computers. Gaming forums are usually run by people who can get some insider information and are very skilled at games. You don't someone to be telling you what to do if they don't know what they're talking about and you do.

I think the head is just leaning the wrong direction. I just did a baseball swing and my tilted towards the bat. Leaning your head forward can throw off your swing. You're supposed to lean into the ball, but not move just your head like that. Tilt his head the other direction.

I don't understand how a site that is supposed to be dedicated to art can have such a bad banner? What good is an art site if it's just noobs? Also, good luck selling sigs; majority of the people who buy sigs can't make them and it'd be a lot easier for them to come to a site like this then a specific art site just to request a sig.

Yup, that's the same feeling I got. However, there's no arguing that what he has done (as his alias) was pretty remarkable stuff. Of course, but it was a lot more celebrated at the time and his alias still got credit. And he knew it was him so he could still feel good about what he had done. I understand that he got pressured into revealing himself by others, but all you could gain right now is just more publicity and nothing worthwhile.

Don't bump old topics and that won't happen.

Not really that interesting. It's not like he revealed himself and then brought out all this new information the public never heard before. Not worthy of all this attention imo.

Do you like them because you made them? Honestly, I don't think they look very good at all. And if someone else was probably posting these exact same sigs, but they made them then you would probably say what everyone else keeps saying. I think you need to step back and look at how much effort you truly put into them and the result. If you spend 5 hours on a pixel then you should put 5 hours into your abstracts. Spending 5 mins won't get you a good outcome.

Hello. teenageloser let me use his lineart and I've modified it some and started coloring it in. It's not near finished, but I'm going to post the progress here. I'm mainly looking for any comments/tips along the way. And a suggestion for background would be good. I don't really like pixel art, but I was just in the mood for some reason.

The fire looks really good, but everything else is so plain. You need to give stuff a texture and not just color it in. A stone tower isn't going to have flat bricks that are one solid color.

I think you're jelous because of the first things you listed....Obviously you have a very different sense of humour than the rest of us. Actually, I was going to go a whole 'nother way when I started my response, but decided to atleast be constructive. And, yes, with maturity does come a better sense of humor. Any chance you could add some effects? Maybe put the health bars? I don't know, seems like you should have the game layout just real people inside. Set up scenes like you'd find in the game, since that seems to be your main focus: Encountering a noob and finally getting to give him what he deserves, Messing with a scammer, You know, humorous situations.
