Yup. Just because you use solid color lines doesn't make it a vector...Vector images can be resized with no distortion to the image or it becoming "pixelly." Adobe Illustrator is probably best to do this in because it will give you true vector.

Ok, lets stop this arguing, we all wrong sometimes, I know I might be wrong, and Ryan might be some wrong too, but lets stop, ok? Just Constructive C/C from now on Alright. Uhm..the character seems too faded?

Then what do you advice Nadril? I'm not Nadril, but have you tried vector maybe? It's a very popular style just not used much on tif. ~_k0m0d0_ - yes, I was but we can be done with this discussion as you stated.

I know..sorry, it just really bothers me. I don't know..I came back after a 3 month break and I'm just finding a lot of noobs and a lot of my favorite posters aren't active. I'm guess I kind of just want to make everyone else be like me so I can enjoy this place better..or something.

Don't give up, learn to make them correctly. Where are you finding these images? Look, you have my apologies. I'm sorry the way I was so rude, but it's very frustrating seeing people use terms incorrectly and using other people's work. If you found these images off google image search then they are copyrighted.

You should learn a bit more and see that a render is an image that has no BG, that is, the BG is Transparent and you can use in a sig!!. Renders can ALSO be the finished work in a 3D program as well! Let's keep this going and I'd like to include you now ice_ring. Are you seriously trying to tell me that as soon as something doesn't have a bg, it becomes a render? Shut up noob. ice_ring, what forums are you talking about? Just cause everyone does it doesn't make it right. In 3d programs, what you're viewing as you make it is the unfinished product. You can work with it and modify it as you please. When you "render" it then you create the finished product with lighting, texture, and more applied. It is then finished. This isn't what applies when you are drawing something. You can constantly change and edit what you're working on. If you want to edit a render then you need to go back and open the raw file and make changes.

A couple things: The term render is not used when talking about a drawing or 2d object. A render is the finished product of 3d work. I have seen this used in this thread and your other one about what you are selling. And yes, you should be very excited about making 42k for these sigs. I don't to be rude, but you are selling people sigs with a filter background and an image you didn't make. I know you're a beginner and that's why I think you should stop trying to make money on your first or second day and actually learn what you are doing. Right now, the only reason you are making any money is because you are taking images made by other people and slapping them into your sigs, which is illegal. They aren't stock photos and you don't have the consent of the author.

The drawing is a not a render...when people say render they are referring to finished work done in a 3d program such as Maya, Lightwave, or 3ds Max. Learn a word before you just go around saying it. And I hope you didn't pay for that...

There's over a million forums on the internet...it might help to be a little more specific. I can guarantee you though, unless you want a sited with not even half the active members of tif then you are going to have a rough time browsing the forums with people having huge and lagging signatures. Almost all good sites have restrictions. Tif's are a little smaller then normal, but you still need to get used to having a limit.

Wow..this wasn't on the first page also  Don't be a noob There's programs already listed there and just learn how to use the one you choose through tutorials and the programs help files.

I'd sell out too if I was only getting 5% of of a $600 million fortune when I was the one putting my voice through severe shouting. Think about it, the poor guy must spend $30 million a year on strepsils. ..have you never heard of the genres such as metal, hardcore, and "screamo." Chester's voice goes through nothing compared to what these guys do.

Pretty much these guys balance these rocks and knock them over or disassemble them one by one. The recording is then played backwards and looks flawless. It's like he's using the force or something to grab the rock and put it in place. It may not sound that good so you really need to just try and watch it.

I can't tell what's going on at all..is that bridge in the middle? Everything seems really flat. There's no depth to the image. You can't tell the background from the foreground. The ground doesn't stay level like it should from that perspective. It starts going up and forces everything into the foreground. You really need to pick a perspective and go with it.
-
It played using quicktime for me..do you have that?

http://www.senseiproductions.com/balancingpoint.mov It is rather long so after the first couple you can stop watching if you want because the rest is similar. I recommend the whole thing though. It's pretty freaking awesome.

I read an article in the newspaper awhile ago that, essentially, they were complaining because warner was making like $600 million off of them and they only got $30 million of it. Any band that is complaining about money when they're already making $30 million is a complete sellout. There new album is even being delayed because of this.

Any reason why the little border design is in all the corners except the upper right?
-
Updated. Mods, any chance of a sticky?
-
Ehh...not really liking the unfinished look. The back feathers are too "loose" as you said and are just brush marks. The head and beak look great.
-
You really need to work on your disses John. And I pretty much have to agree with Zonorhc on everything he said.

Thanks. These are also on my dA account now: Here

I'm sure the sticky at the top doesn't have any help for you at all  I can't believe I'm constantly posting this There's even a user tutorial posted by Quer_Skull about how to do a pixel signature.

i do. ill visit from time to time (like about once a week unless i got something finished earlier) that'll turn out into a fine sig smelly :D Visiting isn't quiting. I'm sorry that you want to go and all, but if you come back once a week then this thread is hardly necessary. I was gone for 3 months and made a post about that and I didn't even think that was necessary. You're better off just making this post relate to your image and mention that you won't be as active.
