  1. *eats popcorn* This is so much better than my daytime soaps.
  2. I got a huge lamp for all the right answers, but I had one question this week that wasn't listed in the list of "complete" questions and answers. Something about a shark which walks on land...
  3. What do I need to know to do one kill for the new kudos requirement? Basically, how do I not die and manage to get at least one kill. Is the tip.it guide up to date with EoC? (No, near as I can tell) Stats in sig. Thanks!
  4. 2k some odd tokens for completing the sinkhole and 43591 exp from huge lamp at lvl 84 dungeoneering.
  5. The slayer trait finally actually raises combat instead of morale.
  6. Proposed solution to drain gp: NPC merchant who sells an incredibly useful, everyday use, untradeable item.
  7. I saw the warning message, but it still wouldn't let me drop anything. Perhaps it's a warning so if familiars (I don't even know if you can bring them into ports) run out, you don't lose that stuff? Or if you somehow manage to die inside the port?
  8. Unless the port layout changes with an upgrade I don't have, can't you just walk down the stairs to your right and manually get to him? Sometimes the pathfinder is stupid.
  9. Upon login it will notify you that your ships completed after a minute or so, thats just how it works. If you woke up at the time they arrived and waited for a minute you'd have seen the same thing I disagree. I think his problem lies in the fact that there was a system update this morning, and that voyages automatically go to their "soon..." status no matter how much time is remaining and stay there until you login after the update. The game notifies you your ships have come in within seconds normally, not a minuter or so. And so it is that I eat my words, as this changed with the update, and not for the better. Voyages now do always have around 1 minute left when you login if they were scheduled to complete anytime since you last logged in. This is instead of completing almost instantly, and is kind of annoying.

  11. This is why I always close the ship interface after I bring in each of my ships, because you have a chance of a random after each ship, so I can occasionally get two (or three, once I get my third ship) randoms when I bring in my ships. Summary: Check one ship, check for randoms. Check other ship, check for randoms. This will maximize potential for randoms.
  12. I've seen lacquer from the Missionary as well, so no, I don't think materials are adventurer based.
  13. I've seen lacquer and ancient bones with just 90 prayer.
  14. For like the fiftieth time on this thread, you can only do ONE mission involving a specific adventurer per day, even if you have three options for that adventurer. If you have two adventurers and have a joint voyage, doing the joint voyage will take away ALL the rest of the special missions for the day. Doing a voyage involving only one of the adventurers involved in a joint voyage will take away all voyages associated with that adventurer and transform the joint voyage into a voyage involving only the other adventurer. So, if I had an occultist and a missionary, I could start out with 3-5 missions, 1-2 individual missions for each adventurer, involving either a scroll mission or an advance the storyline mission. the fifth voyage would be a joint venture with the missionary and occultist for lots of resources. If I did the occultist storyline mission, his scroll mission would disappear, and the joint mission would transform into a solo resource mission for the missionary, leaving me with three possible special voyages, all involving only the missionary. If, however, I chose to do the joint mission, ALL other voyages would be gone, as I adventured with both of my adventurers for the day.
  15. Joint mission will remove scroll mission.
  16. Thanks. I was afraid pressing that button would use a reroll and therefore use up one of my voyages. All set to sail!
  17. Anyone know why it says "No voyage available" for all three of the slots, even though it says I have twelve voyages available? This is in the regular voyage tab, not the special mission one.
  18. I enjoyed the final battle. Yes, I died a LOT (~10+ times) before winning, but I always felt that the battle was doable, which is more than I can say about, for example, Nomad. It also was easy to not get mad at the fight because I didn't have to run back and loot my grave before jumping back in. I could restock food and prayer potions, repot and try again. It took a little bit of luck (e.g., the tiles under the ranger not heating too often so I could beat him before the second one spawned), but this was a battle that I felt took skill and not spam-clicking food after huge attacks to win. If you can kill the ranger and then manage prayer, health, stunning, and keep an eye on the tiles, this battle is not so bad, and actually quite enjoyable. Setup for those looking for cheap gear that works with nowhere near max combat: Full Guthan's Guthan's warspear goliath gloves Tokkul-Zo Ardougne cape 3 Fremennik Sea Boots 3 Amulet of Fury 4 prayer pots (4) Sharks Had 9 sharks leftover
  19. I guess one thing that annoys me about the combat in this quest is that you are often being attacked by more than one combat style. This was okay in the old system because you could mix and match armour to cover multiple sides or use protection prayers to block one side of the triangle completely, but in the new system they've worked so hard to discourage hybrid setups (steep penalties to both offense and defense for using the wrong class) and protection prayers no longer block them out completely. It's not a big complaint, just slightly annoying that they use a mechanic they used in the old combat system to make combat more thoughtful (throwing multiple attack styles at you) in a combat system that allows for much more complex dynamics and makes the old mechanic more difficult than it was before.
  20. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the new armor only has good stats when used in volcanic areas. e.g., It only provides that insane lp bonusin tzhaar areas like the kiln, caves, cauldron, etc.
  21. And only on pendants depleted after November 13, all the older ones can't be recharged. Did it take all 10 large crystals to recharge 1 prized pendant? Yes, it does take 10 crystals to recharge one pendant.
  22. Actually, that task is misleading. Was it the one that says something like: "Complete a dungeoneering floor on maximum complexity: 1" ? the wording is very misleading, and you are supposed to complete one dungeon on maximum complexity, which is 6. The "1" refers to how many you are supposed to complete, not the level of complexity.
  23. Challenge: Bury, altar, or ecto 5 frost dragon bones. Reward: 2376 prayer exp, less than I got for ectoing them using robin hood. :P For completing 1 dungeon on complexity 6: 128,011 exp. Lol dung rewards are so broken.
