People were making polls when they weren't needed - spamming with pointless polls; etc. General abuse of that privelage. Admins found it easier to take it away - and I highly doubt we'll get it back.

I have a nack for directional memory. Only need to go somewhere once (or see a map of the surrounding area); and I can find it time after time regardless of how often I go there :) Great for when mates are moving house all the time :D

I have a flashlight that you can produce the light by constantly pressing down a big switch that turns a wheel. We sell them at my work; suprisingly they work pretty well if you only need to use it for a short period of time - ie: a minute or two. Continual use is... annoying at best.

China also has .... 3 years compulsary military service? I forget the actual duration - but pretty much every person over the age of 18 has military training. The USA might have similar "manpower" available; but it'd be [cabbage] manpower to put it at best.
