In short, a forum mod posted a video showing a ton of bots spamming gold-selling sites. Jagex pulls the video and removes that guy's forum mod status. And they can protect their damn image if they want, but they're doing a really shoddy job of it.

If one's brought to court, there's good chances they will see it. Not if they don't have the money period. 99% of civil lawsuits never sees all of the money from it. Case in point, there's the case of that woman who was sued for 2.4M or 2.4B for downloading a bunch of songs. There is no way that company will see that money from that individual in their lifetime, there is absolutely no way. This will be no different, and I would have no idea how they'd quantify "damage" done in any case. What, would each "tree" chopped be worth X cash? It's an arbitrary thing at best. Alternately, they could just settle the matter outside of court, but knowing how these companies have just so much money to throw at the courts, I'm not so sure. Also, I don't even play this game, as I stopped well over four years ago, so how would I know what the abuse report is? What about your TOS argument? Report Abuse has always been in the game. One of the first options to report is for macroing. It's hinted everywhere that bots aren't allowed. Of course they won't see 2.4M or 2.4B - they'll likely see a realistic amount. Indeed, but the point being that they've got almost nothing to gain from this except to stop botting. I'm just thinking of the monetary implications of this, because I'm not 100% sure how much money they'd have to throw at the courts to even "win" this kind of thing. Actually, technically, they could sue for swearing, but there would be exactly zero they could gain other than losing a ton of money and PR. I'd almost expect this case to be thrown out, but I'll just observe for now, because companies like this come across as annoying. Everyone, keep in mind that a Terms of Service is not entirely a legally binding contract. If the Iphone jailbreak case is any indication, the judge actually didn't even consider those terms and threw them out, simply because they're so badly slanted against the consumer and difficult to read and understand for the average person. In any case, if they're really suing, the only thing they could profitably sue for is to cease production of the botting programs. Any attempts to sue for money would be wasted as they'd never see those funds in their lifetime.

Now I'm only using one in my Pod deck which I still haven't updated since rotation. What're Wurmcoils used in these days? Some artifact decks and a general card to be annoying with/mana dump. Seriously, it's insane for what it is. 6 of any mana for a 6/6 with lifelink and deathtouch, and killing it just makes two 3/3 wurm tokens, each having one of it's abilities. Nothing else does that for it's cost easily.

I presume you tried grabbing some items next to a dead dragon? *snerk* Yeah, I got those items and got away without dying (wasn't really worth it, my shield is better than the one that was there, and my Drake Sword is MUCH better than the sword there), but I continued on down the path and ran into those damn blue drakes who ripped me apart. As for that "dead" dragon. What the hell? What creature in its right mind would sleep while dangling off the edge of a cliff? I've got to give credit to the creators though. They really did make that dragon look quite dead with it's grey, withered looking flesh. Actually, I do more with that sword than the Drake Sword, seeing how I've got a bunch of points in Faith, and the Drake Sword is just 200 power straight; it doesn't scale. My experience with the dead dragon? Me: Huh, a dead dragon and two items. *grabs first item* Ooh nice sword. *tries to grab second item, dragon wakes up and i'm stuck in the grab animation* Me: OH FU- *claw to the face* As for the drakes, they're weak to lightning damage, so either get some Resin to enchant a basic weapon, or you can go ring both bells (One in the Undead Parish, the other in Blighttown) and find an awesome lightning spear in Sen's Fortress.

That's why other formats exist, like Modern. EDH is fun too. Rotations make sense, that's how you prevent stupid overpowered cards from ruling the game consistently, without resorting to banning things every 6 months. And then there are bannings that make sense. When the top 8 players in a pro-level tournament ALL RUN 4 COPIES OF JACE THE WALLET SCULPTOR... That card was stupidly broken, and not just the effect where it exiles your deck.

Hah, Magic is where it's really at. True dat. I haven't gotten any of Innistrad yet, though. My standard deck is still Zen-Scars block and I need to make changes Innistrad's a fun block. Basically it's humans, werewolves, vampires, and a few other things thrown in, with a flavor of "coming back from the dead" as a general theme. In any case, I'm still working on a Green/Blue deck revolving around Spllinterfright. Basically a 3-cost creature whose power and toughness is equal to the number of monsters in your graveyard, AND trample? It's all kinds of fun.
