  1. It made me laugh actually, I liked that stuff he's said. It's funny. He: - Is a sore loser, see the Justice/Simian award. - Thinks he's more important than other celebrities, see the Grammy episode. - Thinks he can and does competes with Jimi Hendrix and Paul McCartney, Kurt Cobain and Jim Morrison. - Thinks if a new Bible were made, he should be in it. That was unfortunately not a joke. - Thinks he heals us: "My music isn't just music - it's medicine." - "When the red [garden tools] hit the runway... I was forced to change my name to Martin Louis King, Jr. Address me as such." He thinks he's Martin Luther King AND Louis Vuitton. Because he has a line of shoes. - Thinks he speaks for us. "I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade." - "If I don't win Album of the Year, I'm gonna have a problem with that." He gonna have a problem with that. Just the fact that he made Love Lockdown is enough for me to not respect him. I mean it's catchy, but then again so is Hannah Montana and Brittney Spears. Those have to be the funniest drums I ever heard in a song. PS: I love Ranch and Italian dressing.
  2. I think Chrono Trigger and the GTA's are pretty overrated. GTA was cool because it's great for blowing off some steam after a stressful day, but a lot of people acted like it was a prodigy amongst video games. No, just another game with the ability to be as immoral as you want.
  3. I regret being so shy and awkward during high school. By the time I taught myself how to be more social, it was already too late. I mean thinking back on it every person I broke the ice with I've become very good friends with during high school. In fact that's even how I met my girlfriend. I should have done that more often. :(
  4. Just because it's "racist" doesn't mean there's not a hint of truth in there. :|
  5. I love getting things out of way early that way you don't have to worry about them longer than you have to - you can just relax. Although, it's hard to find the initiative for a lot of things so I procrastinate anyways.
  6. Oh, I thought you were talking about this guy. :P
  7. I take you as a comic book fan because of that old avatar/sig you had, so Samuel Wilson?
  8. I have fond memories of running hurriedly through the field before sunset to get into the city before those zombie things came out. Yeah, me too. The Sun Song was one of my biggest priorities in that game because of those guys. :?
  9. The worst punishment I got was being grounded for two weeks when I got a C, but it turns out my teacher made a mistake and I was really supposed to have a B.
  10. Verbal assault.
  11. In my opinion, when a debate is contrived, it loses it's values. The true debates are the ones that pop up out of the blue. I've seen much better debates in Rants, General, and Off Topic than in Debate Club.
  12. Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive
  13. Hate to make a cliched post but Guitar Hero is definitely number one. I enjoyed those ones far more than the earlier ones. The customization systems were so much more advanced and there was a lot more bonus material in those games. Although I do bet that the reason most people liked them so much were just because they were 3-d and the stories were "good" ( ), so I do agree that they are overrated. Why the hell did people think Cloud and Sephiroth were so cool? Cloud was a crybaby and Sephiroth wasn't that bright.
  14. Do you uhh, not have any friends? To me, it sounds like you just sit at home staring at a wall until you sleep. All of those things don't interest me either with an exception of movies and writing. I'm sure you have a big list of things that you don't enjoy if you think about them hard enough.
  15. And OT isn't elitist? But they wouldn't have to. I have no problem with a subforum, because you can always choose not to visit it. People go to OT for a lot more reasons than reading up on the lives of others though. Many go for debates or finding out what's happening in other parts of the world.
  16. The demand seems to not exist because the opportunity doesn't exist. I'm sure if you made a forum, a lot more people would feel obliged to make one. (Some for the sake of being the first few to post in that forum.) I didn't know you were allowed to do this, neither did Crusader since he asked for permission first, and I'm sure a lot of others weren't aware either. So it's not like people knew it was allowed this whole time. As for people being rude, nobody would be rude if there was a specific forum for it. So right now, while there isn't a forum, of course people would be too afraid to post one out of fear of being flamed - that doesn't mean the demand is low though, just that people are too afraid to show that there is a demand. If we do get a forum for it, we'll probably see a lot more bloggers. Blogscape is famous as hell, so I'd think an OT version would be too. Just look at the success of the Today Thread. TIFers like posting about the trivial stuff they do. Besides, I think TIF is due for a new forum anyways.
  17. Pretty much anything, as long as it's really loud. Even The Doors can do that to me. :P Metallica is probably one of the biggest ones though.
  18. I thought 7's sidequests were more about the Materia and 10 was about weapons. But anyways, you're right. The aspect that drew people into video games was that it's interactive - you can go on quests, find different methods of killing monsters, and solve puzzles. When it comes to video games, personally speaking, the storyline wasn't really one of my biggest priorities. If the gameplay was good, then I liked it. The story was really just a little extra thing to keep you motivated to play through it.
  19. I can see why the NFL wouldn't let him back in though. The fact of the matter is that he is going to be hated - whether he should be hated or not, he still will be. Football relies heavily on fanboyism. Put a "bad guy" into the mix and that's not a good thing at all. As for the actual people hating on him, someone summed it up nicely. It's more about making him into a monster than caring about those dogs - code of the vegetarian.
  20. It's impossible to say this without sounding rude so please forgive me, but how many of us do you think care? If anything we should just have a blog thread, make those big posts about yourself, comment on others, etc. There are a lot of OTers. If even 10% of us made our own personal blog thread, OT wouldn't be OT anymore. It would be flooded with blogs about how we went fishing today or played tennis with our dad.
  21. What about spiders and cockroaches? :-#
  22. Even if he is the most vile human being in the world with nothing but spite in his heart, he is still more important than any animal.
  23. I agree with this. Video games are video games and movies are movies. They each have a different set of criteria so most adaptations are too forced and don't really make much sense or have the same appeal as the game. It's one thing to make a book into a movie, but a game is even worse. Not to say it is impossible to make a good one, but as of yet they all pretty much sucked.
