I don't really care about the other things, but I do agree that SC hammers suck. PC was fine. ZMI was fine. I feel that hammers are taking it a bit too far though - you practically do the same tasks, but with items in your inventory which speed it up. I fear we're nearing the buyable XP era. Could just be my pessimism speaking though.

If that's what you're arguing then that's nothing but subjectivity. Definitions of what "a lot" is are going to vary from person to person. And yes, I still feel that we are very different from all of the other animals. This is mainly a misunderstanding though. I thought you were defending the notion that humans are not more superior than animals or that our abilities are no different. Well, I agree with you there. In terms of DNA makeup, we are very similar to animals. Especially when you look at the big picture and take into account all of the matter that is in the universe that has almost nothing in common with our DNA makeup. But in terms of our abilities, we're millions of years ahead of them (in a literal sense because of evolution). And on some level I guess you can say that everything is the same because we're all made up of atoms

They are both illegal. Since they are both illegal does this make them the same, and therefore should be treated the same?

Not sure if this is directed at me or not. If it is, yes, I can run. But you are quite clearly superior in this field. Our running abilities are not the same, even though we both have the ability to run. The abilities both exist, but they are on different levels.

I thought the grandfather paradox was the one where it's impossible to kill your grandfather before he gave birth to your parent? My favorite would have to be nonconformity/conformity. Is a person really a nonconformist for not conforming even though they are conforming to nonconformity?

It's usually the deliverance of the rant that I don't like - not the actual rant itself. If he were to post something like, "It's annoying when players do this," then I would be fine with it. But when you say that the RS community is unintelligent based off of one little thing then that's another story. I don't find conciliation nearly as interesting as disputes. The main reason I come to these forums are for the debates. They are fun, enlightening, and amusing. I don't hate you, but I do disagree with your intentions. I say let the controversy continue to stir. :P

You need to learn to put things into context. I wasn't referring to IQ in that post. Your main point is, "There are very stupid people on RS." Well, when we have tons of rants talking about how stupid the RS community is, then that just shows that most people who rant about this are actually no different than the people they rant about. It's irony. My point still stands, and even stronger now that you gave me a terrible response like that. If you're trying to argue that there are few stupid people but their IQ's are so low that it causes the average to drag down to such a small level, then that means you're just manipulating semantics to disprove someone in one way or another, even if it has nothing to do with the actual point. Judging by all your other responses, that seems exactly like you. Oh and plus statistics involve research. Can I see some figures? I'd really like to know where you came up with 60. Everybody calls everybody stupid. This doesn't hold weight anymore. For some reason people seem to think calling society stupid means that they are separating themselves from society. It doesn't. You are an average Runescaper too. What if every RS player made a thread exactly like this? How much weight would their arguments hold? "The majority of RS players are idiots." Death Angel is another band I'd like to mention. Seriously, I recommend Mercyful Fate and Death Angel to anyone. As for songs, there are a ton of underrated RHCP songs. This Velvet Glove, Dosed, Venice Queen, Transcending, and Don't Forget Me are a few. It amazes me how their better songs are almost unheard of but Californication gets so much credit. :|

You know me so well, Melee. My only RS goal is getting 81 Mining. I'm like 22k Xp away I believe. Yeah, I'm playing other games this summer, like Final Fantasy 12 and 9. So technically I still won't have a life. :lol:

It should be the responsibility of the player, not the company. We don't need to be babysat. If someone makes the ridiculous choice to play 24 hours a day, it's on them. And how do you know they aren't just gonna turn their X-box on once they get kicked off RS? There's only so little you can do to control a person's choices. I hate rules and laws like this. Fine, "they play too much". But you ramble about nonsense too much. Perhaps we need a restriction for that too.

Good god. 8th grade graduation ? What the hell is the world coming to. Just another way to acknowlegde and "celebrate" mediocrity. It's just another goddamned year. That is the same reason I refused to go to my high school graduation a few weeks ago. I hate pointless traditions.
