This. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate cartoons, I enjoys quite a few of them. But really, ponies? Don't be so closed-minded. Just because you have preconceptions of how ponies should act doesn't mean these ones can't break out of that stereotype. I used to think Halo was 'just another generic shooter' because of my own prejudices against all gun-related video games, just like your prejudices against anything pony-related. Well, I gave it a try and now it's one of my favorite games. Shouldn't you at least give these ponies a chance before you decide to [pre]judge them?

If freedom of speech doesn't cover certain areas, it should be things like yelling "fire" in crowded buildings and taunting someone you raped. Well, she's quite clearly a danger to society, she nearly burnt down the whole bar, she could've killed 50 people. Yes, true in that sense. I guess a knife to the throat would've been more efficient. This part confused me as well. Although my bet is that he was most likely trolling, hardcore style, it's possible that he was being apologetic. The story doesn't really give us enough to work off of. It probably has something to do with who you're committing a crime against. I mean seriously, is it that hard to understand the difference between attacking an innocent person and attacking a person who has proven to be an inherent threat to innocent people?

Same connotation with "black" and "white", "straight" and "gay". People really let their insecurities surface when they get offended by their labels. If I were to merely describe someone as "fat" in a harmless tone, the only reason they should be offended is if they themselves see something embarrassing about it.

Clinically, I'm not supposed to do any weight-lifting because of the stress it puts on my heart. As far as eating, I need to intake much more than an average person which is a luxury I can't afford right now. And even for the ones who do have the money for that type of diet, it's still very restricted and they have quite a bit of trouble. (By the way, anyone know if doing low weights with high reps is a good answer to the heart-stress problem or would it practically have the same effect?)

When you take into account the fact that every one of our actions trickle down to our genetics or environment, and that "ego" is just a biological trick in order to preserve our species, one can only help but feel like a helpless puppet with no ability to do anything but feel whatever life decides to give them.

Same exact situation here in Florida. I have tons of friends all looking for jobs. Only one of them found one solely because he walked into one of his favorite restaurants right as someone was getting fired because they were on their cellphone too much. Yep, scams flourish in times like these. My friend (the one who now has a job) had the misfortune of working with one for about a week. He thought it was fishy at first but he was homeless and didn't have much of an option, that is until we looked it up online and heard the horror stories of people working their asses off and making anywhere from $50 to absolutely nothing and even getting abandoned on the side of the road because they questioned their pay. :blink: Beware anything sales-related.

Which is great for when you feel like being a one man army woot! :-P But BF is a team-based game. One-man-army is for CoD. This is conceited, but my friend and I (we switch off the controller after deaths since we only have one copy) are usually the main influence of the battle anyway. More often than not, we're sitting there complaining about our team not helping with objectives at all, missing right-in-your-face kills/spots, giving away our good Recon positions, etc.. Maybe we're getting unlucky with the teams, but I haven't seen the amount of teamwork in the normal servers as many of you seem to be implying. Do you play with real friends or do random matches? Maybe it's because we play on Xbox 360? I don't know - point being that lone wolfing in hardcore seems to be pretty effective for us. Once 3 comes out though, we'll both get our own copies and focus less on lone wolfing.

To start off Palestine never existed. Israel didn't invade anybody they fought for their lives in 1947-1948 and again in 1967 when it Enemy were at its borders with blood in their eyes. Israel fought and won its enemy's taking spoils of war with them. The only reason that Israel hasn't been reconquered by a joint coalition of the Arab League and their allies is because it's in bed with the US (or, rather, in bed with the Republican party). If I were you, I'd start praying that no true Democrats ever get elected in the US, because if ties with Israel were severed, it would only be a matter of time. Until what?

Last time I was at my buddy's friend we decided to be funny and try hardcore mode. Lo and behold, we fell in love instantly. Now if only there were enough hardcore Vietnamers for an actual game to take place... =P~

Pretty much sums up my opinion on the show as well. I wish shows like these would just end on a good note instead of dragging out crappy story lines. The Edna and Flanders fiasco paints the perfect picture of what The Simpsons has degraded into.

Played a no-rules match against my Action Replaying friend and won. :mrgreen: My team: Blaziken, Venusaur, Bisharp, Shuckle, Starmie, Mewtwo His: Metagross, Charizard, Rayquaza, Gengar, Haxorus, (Can't remember) All his Pokes had 300-400 Sp.Att./Att. (max EV, max IV, best natures, full PP powerful movesets) :ohnoes:. Luckily I was prepared and trained Starmie as a counter to super-sweepers like these. Minimize x 2 (while he was switching out, he thought I was going to sweep his Charizard first, psychology ftw), Recover, Cosmic Power x 2, Recover, Minimize x 2, Cosmic Power x2, Recover, Scald with my EV trained Sp. Att + burns. Starmie got too OP so I decided to not go overkill and kept Minimizing until he killed it. Then he made a pretty nice comeback, that is until he sent out Metagross and my Shuckle Powersplit him. :shades: Now we're both training a brand new set of 6 Pokemon with new battle strategies. Our battle has taught him the lesson that a cheap strategy > maxed out stats, so now I'm expecting him to get some more support moves which I can phase out with Haze. (I'm already training a Crobat.)

:thumbup: Really the only drawback I've encountered from it so far is that they don't have enough maps... yet.
