The probability of it being heads is 1/2. This is a constant that will never change no matter how many times you have flipped it. To say it will eventually land on heads is an extremely accurate assumption, but still an assumption nonetheless. Let's use a more realistic scenario though: making a bunch of monkeys typing for an infinite amount of time doesn't necessarily ensure that they will eventually type one of Shakespeare's stories. It is possible that they could just happen to never type that.

What movie(s) did you last see?
You misread. That was me posting an example of my blatant tom-trollery. For all the complaints I had about the movie, you brought up the point, "Well that aspect isn't as bad as this one over here in this movie." That's fine, but still debatable. The thing is, one single element isn't what causes me to hate Iron Man 2. It's the accumulation of all my complaints put together - the big picture, as well as the context of the movie off-screen (similar to how people will appreciate softer bands more if they were from an earlier time period). Also, I didn't mention every single one of my criticisms. You can't just compare it to other movies with similar qualities and tell me I should hate those ones more by my own logic. Additionally, I was joking when I was "objectively proving" it is the worst movie, because that is silly and simply not possible. It just comes down to me thinking Iron Man 2 was the worst crap I have seen, and possibly the worst crap I will ever see, which is my subjective opinion that you simply cannot "disprove" but you can absolutely disagree with.

So, somewhere in a parallel universe, parallel universes don't exist? I don't think infinity implies everything will happen. If we flipped a coin an infinite amount of times, it is theoretically possible that it will never be heads. Or a more realistic example, if someone were to ask someone to say the word "no" and had an infinite amount of time, it is possible that he would never say "no".

Homosexuality: Right or Wrong?
Very fitting. Especially since I am the one winning this thread. (141 posts, with Bonkers coming in at second with 99) Who is a closet? No naming names in a negative light though, so use avatars as an identifier.

What movie(s) did you last see?
If he is Iron Man, the highly respected super hero, then yes. And it doesn't just end at being annoying. I have. So if it shares a common element with common movies, that is somehow a good thing? If the entire movie is based on that, what's so sporadic about it? Compared to the reception they've received, terrible. Especially since that's the thing people seemed to like the most about it. And I have seen many movies. I'm gonna stop you right there. You are 1.) arguing subjectivity 2.) taking the "worst movie ever made" thing literally and 3.) replying to my bait. 1. To say "hardly" to my subjective claim is to say my personal taste is "wrong". 2. Obviously it is not a valid claim to say it is the worst movie ever made, because of the simple fact that I have not seen every movie ever made. 3. If my wording in the large paragraph wasn't enough to give it away, this should have: Case in point. In one sentence, you just proved that Iron Man 2 being the worst movie ever made isn't merely just my own opinionated belief - it's a cold hard objective fact. That was a lot sooner than I expected. I honestly wasn't expecting a rebuttal let alone one like that. :D

Recovering accounts!!!
You know why that is? Because Jagex sucks! I'm thinking about planning a riot in Falador soon, concerning their incompetence as a morally virtuous company that targets today's youth. If I get mysteriously shot after posting this, please make sure my campaign lives on.

Abortion
The reason of the abortion isn't really to "make the pain go away". It's because the mother doesn't want to give birth to a rapist's child and raise them on her own, she is not financially/mentally ready yet or simply does not want a child - even though the pregnancy has already been imposed on her against her will, and to cut any ties to that miserable memory she can (in that case I guess it is a matter of making the pain go away). Why should there not be exceptions to that rule? What if it's a question of a sick demented serial killer's life or three innocent children? Is it wrong to take his life, even though it would directly be securing three innocent ones? It's not as black and white as killing = bad, not killing = good. I believe that killing is inherently wrong, however, under certain circumstances, it is definitely the lesser of two evils. In the case of abortion, it sounds much worse to force her to endure more trauma than she's just been through than for her to make the choice to abort her own rape baby because of the reasons I listed above. Also, whether it is a person that is entitled to the same rights as a fully grown woman yet is questionable. Their human rights are clashing, but the difference is that the woman has hopes, dreams, friends, memories, sentience, the capability of suffering, etc., whereas the fetus isn't even aware yet. The woman is already suffering enough, the least that could be done is that she gets the right to diminish it. You sound like you are pro-choice, but that you would try to convince a woman that her choice should be to keep it.

Abortion
Disregarding the whole flame thing, I'm curious to know your reasoning on why rape doesn't warrant abortion. I quite agree with the point he was making, even though they might be extreme hypotheticals.

Stuff that creeps you out (Insects maybe? D:)
Glenn Martin DDS. And I thought Oblivion had it pretty bad with the whole uncanny valley syndrome thing. I had a lot of trouble sleeping after their Halloween episode. It's not only how the characters look or how they move either - the whole show has some freaky aura attached to it, like it's a show intentionally made to inflict fear and suffering.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Hardly. Although it wasn't nearly as good as the first... Best thing to do with someone who says a popular movie is the worst movie ever is to just ignore them, it gets them hard when someone tries to argue with them. You make it sound so intriguing. Let's start shall we? The protagonist (the superhero/role model Iron Man at that) was an irresponsible pompous annoying little [puncture] of a fool. The plot was just a bunch of bumbling around from one scene to another. I have never witnessed a movie with this much absence of flow before. Oh and what was it that the plot circumducts around? A lousy contract. I have exerted a gargantuan amount of blood and sweat to unearth some meaning... any meaning... I really did. Over and over again, my conclusion was that there was none to be dug up, no matter how deep you shove that shovel down in that dark apocalyptic trench. Let's not forget how Samuel Jackson was sporadically thrown into the mix for the sake of sporadically throwing Samuel Jackson into the mix! Minus at least 10 points there. Now let's cover the CGI and effects. Ooooooh ahhhhh... Dis mohvie deserfs fiove star out of fiove cuz of firworks. The amount of money that has come into contact with this film causes me to cringe involuntarily. My expectations were exceptionally low, and even they have been eclipsed by the corporeal horrors today's society has to offer to me. It caused me to resent the public even moreso than I already do which is a mind-boggling feat to accomplish, therefore it is the worst movie of all time. Calling it a popular movie, and using the argument "if someone calls a popular movie the worst they've seen then it's best to ignore them cause they're obviously wrong" only exacerbates that. Maybe if it wasn't so highly revered I wouldn't have such a negative stigma about it and the current state of the film industry. But no, for some reason it's a crowd-pleaser. Also, it does not come as a surprise to me that this forum would defend and shelter something of that magnitude of abhorrence, which is the main reason I willingly posted how am I am so militantly in opposition to it's quality. Rebuttals? Or better yet, what the hell is worse than that warm pile of excrement? Case in point. In one sentence, you just proved that Iron Man 2 being the worst movie ever made isn't merely just my own opinionated belief - it's a cold hard objective fact. That was a lot sooner than I expected.

Why don't you give relationships (and her specifically) a break for a few weeks. Take some time to focus on everything non-relationship oriented, like Runescape or hanging out with friends or cooking. When you do find a woman who is worth all the trouble ( :P hehe), it will rock your socks man.

Favorite thing about the opposite sex?
Basically the same qualities you like: -Smart -Opinionated -Stubborn -Confident Cocky wasn't the best word choice. I like a girl who is proud, but not a selfish [bleep].

Favorite thing about the opposite sex?
Haha, I wouldn't exactly call it a "fetish" since I don't want to sniff them or any of that - just an additional part of the female anatomy I have gained a new appreciation for. (Only my girlfriend's though.) Stop it Shiny, you're turning me on.

Favorite thing about the opposite sex?
I honestly can't pinpoint why exactly I have the sexual attractions that I have. But I agree with Daddy, it's more the idea of them rather than how they actually look. My definition of "cocky" is someone who thinks highly of themselves, but rightly so. (Basically the opposite of pretentious.) This indicates that she has something to be cocky about (intelligence, looks, etc.), and also that she's not afraid to argue. Also, I wanted to use the word cocky.

Philosophy, Riddles and complete mind[bleep]s
Determinism does tend to lead people to the nihilistic idea of "What's the point?" and sometimes even becoming lethargic about life in general. My point is that sitting around and not making choices only contributes to the staleness they wish to run away from.

Philosophy, Riddles and complete mind[bleep]s
I always thought of the meaning of life being to have the opportunity to ponder the meaning of life. And here's one that likes to knock my socks off: The limit of infinity. Humanity must make a decision here: Do I want to be a stagnant cog in the machine, or do I want to be an active cog in the machine? The universe has decided that laziness and inertia bore me, so I'd rather be turning.
