  1. No major glitches as far as I know - just some graphical issues. I don't like Oblivion's game play. Final Fantasy is much more my style of RPG. My biggest complaint about Oblivion is the ever so awkward combat.
  2. My 360 broke completely before I could finish Oblivion, so I started a new game of Dark Cloud 2. I forgot how much there is to do in this game. [bleep] Oblivion. EDIT: Wow, now this game doesn't work either. [bleep] technology.

I agree, but that is a pretty rare case. Many people will use that same reasoning and then throw them in the dumpster during prom night as opposed to at least putting them up for adoption.
  4. ok mr. Philosopher warrior of all that is immolated. I am motivated by the ability to change. What's the point in change? You're gonna die anyway. What's the point in asking him? You're just gonna die eventually. Why not ask him? I'm going to die eventually. Now you're talking.

  6. Sex is one of the best things life has to offer so it is pretty important to me. My girlfriend is a huge part of my life and she's hot so you could almost even say my life revolves around my heterosexuality. I'm not really expressive about my sexuality but I do enjoy bragging about how hot my girlfriend is (10/10). Still too much. Maybe if Pirate Day died I would be more understanding, but anything with "Day" after it just naturally gets shunned by me.
  7. If he is a poonhound that must make you a wienerdog. 8-) Hell, I find it bizarre that we even exist. Nature is bizarre.
  8. I never really read comics but this applies to movies and video games as well. [bleep]ing marketing. Agreed. I think it's funny when people use this site for the sole purpose of getting away from the "immaturity of Myspace"...
  9. To better my own ego and help society, mainly the people close to me. Also, to fight evil.
  10. Today I learned how to shoot a bow.
  11. Today I learned that someone made a thread called "What have you learned today?".
  12. There's also the fact that expressing thought through typing is much different than through speaking. Debating in real life is fun because you can add some emotion to it with your tone and body language, but on the internet you get all the time you want to spruce up your points with fancy talk.
  13. I'm actually funny in real life. About the same level of argumentativeness though.
  14. The concept of disgust is very thought-provoking. It's a grand reflection of humanity. Disgust is our enemy - we fight it. We wash our hands, we avoid dirty-looking colors and objects and creatures to reduce contamination, we combat undesirable ideas or people. But in another light, disgust is our friend - we employ it. We eat the dead to survive, we defecate to make room for the future, we damage our bodies for pleasurable effects, we find beauty and art in imperfections (or rather, anti-perfection), and most importantly we have sex. Beautiful lovely passionate dirty filthy disgusting sex. Ever see what sex is from the point of view of someone that isn't horny? It's bizarre. Quite complicated to conceive of our own habits as disgusting, because they are intrinsic for humanity - it's a biological (perhaps even logical) trick. But strip us of our humanistic needs and see for yourself - we wallow in disgust. Don't take this as a bad thing though. After all, it is our tool. It shows us the way.
  15. ;) Yo. There is nothing thought-provoking about dupes. He was clearly referring to me.
  16. At first my opinion was that they shouldn't get the service because they didn't pay for it, but this post changed my mind. When I think of a firefighter, I want to think of a hero - not a businessman. And I had no idea pets were involved. (Hey, here's something PETA might actually be useful for.) But then again, there is still a part of me that thinks the firefighters had a point. Touchy subject. I'll just stand at the sidelines and interject next time semantics are brought up.

Merlin from Disney's The Sword in the Stone. I used to watch it all the time as a kid.

THIS IS THE TODAY THREAD MALFEASANT!! OT: Today I owned Roccodog in a debate.
  19. It's not that I fail at life. It's life that fails me. :boohoo:
  20. No no. Opium often leads to accidental suicide - and that's the worst kind.
  21. An interesting insight into the life of an Zierro. I like to think of it as temporary suicide. Because real suicide is way too extreme, people will have to deal with your corpse and your death, you miss out on the future, it's not a reputable way to go, too painful and scary, etc. Too many cons when you can just go to sleep in order to avoid the chaos of life, even if it's only for a while. Plus you get to have dreams.
  22. Oh lol. I didn't know he was referring to legality by saying "it's what you should do". EDIT: But wait, weren't they supposed to not help them, legally, because they didn't pay?
  23. Contrary to popular belief, my social life keeps me too busy.
  24. Truth itself is objective, but what I meant is that a human's idea of what is "true" differs from person to person (my mistake for using the term "definition"). For example: Person A: "It is true that God exists." Person B: "It is true that God does not exist." There can obviously only be one truth here. Somebody must be wrong, and their idea or interpretation of "truth" is actually untrue. Yeah, it is pretty confusing. Haha. This whole debate is about that specific word though. As for the word "justified", the connotation I get from that word is on par with "excusable", "warranted", or "acceptable" as if it went through the process of being scrutinized and deemed as a reasonable action, and if not, it would have been viewed in a negative light. "Right" might be a bit confusing but I believe it is more accurate for saying things such as, "Saving that man's life was the right thing to do," rather than, "Saving that man's life was the justified thing to do." It just has a weird ring to it. "Moral" does sound like a better alternative though.
  25. Also, the insult "[bleep]er". lol (starts with W - not F)
