Nothing wrong with using prayer, but using any protect pray is just nooby. It's using your advantages and getting your money's worth, in the end, when that noob who didn't use protect prays dies, I'll be the one laughing while turning protect melee/range/mage off. It's ok to use protect prayers against a pray noob, so if you protect pray if they are not smiting you they will pray as well. /agree. If you have prayer use the protection ones, cuz you'd be the last one alive :P Is there some sort of moral or ethical reason not to use prayer? "It's ok to pray when..." That suggests that there's a time when NOT to pray. It should be: "It is advantageous to pray when..." For example, last night, I get called a noob because I used prayer when I'm at 10% at the MOST and the guy had just hit a 23-37 on me...yeah, like I'll just hand over my stuff to the abysmal Java code which will delete my items from the servers just to be "honorable". Anyone who doesn't use prayer is a noob because they are being stupid by not using all of their assets. Of course, there is no reason to pray when fighting against a lvl 3 or when you already have full health with defense boosting prayers. That's just being practical. Practicality doesn't equal fairness or equality. :shame:

I a world where people say "quests are boring", we questers take pride for actually engrossing ourselves in the storyline. Besides, I'd rather be able to make my deaths and only cast ice burst, than have ice barrage and have to buy literally all of my equipment. \

Sorry, but slayer is a money maker. I literally have made over 3 mill from slayer. Also, it sounds like you are doing duradel tasks. Come join Chaeldar? =) Duradel's tasks are too mind boggling for my tastes.

Well my personal opinion is this: I find that the $700 billion may just be a temporary fix. Not only does it leave the people (us) out of that much money, but prevents the government from paying its I believe $10 trillion debt. Besides, what plan do the banks have? What will they do with the money? If they were going to to have enough money to give 100% of all people's money to them at one time, then why do it have to be labeled as a "bail-out"? If that's not what they're going to do with the money, then what are they going to do? We could actually be using this opportunity to give the money to all of the people and then stop producing money in the mint. Everyone has money and the value of the dollar goes up because the source is cut off and the drain is still going. Inflation goes down. Killing two birds with one stone. But that's just my opinion based on intermittently watching the news between writing fiction and playing runescape.

Wow, just wow :shock: . I support animal rights in the sense that no one should just mutilate a dog's body, but this is just going too far... Well, using PETA's logic: We should stop eating ice cream because we forcibly make a cow do what they were literally designed to do, and kill and eat them because that's what they were also designed to become. Humans are beyond animals in many ways. Cows cannot solve math problems, much less actually have a conscience. This really is just the circle of life. Saying it is wrong to kill an animal means all animal to animal killing is morally wrong. Yet, without said killing, the ecosystem would die, and all living things would die a horrible and painful starvation. I wonder how they justify eating plants... Like I said above, I do support animal rights in that needlessly killing animals (hunting game for sport) is something that should not happen because mass killing could damage the ecosystem and eventually us. I do not believe that we should put some...how do I put this? Ugh, never mind, too awkward :oops:

Blood, dogs, or heights. I'm leaning towards heights the most with dogs next and then blood.

Levels don't matter in Fog (except strength). What doesmatter is the quality of equipment. I will splash on people with karils a heck of a lot more than black dhide. Obviously, a godsword will outdo any other weapon because of the high strength. The dark bow is the best bow besides rune crossbow + dragon bolts. Although even 10 more strength lvls will increase your max by about 3, if you have the same equipment, it comes down to strategy. But yes, someone with ice barrage and ags will almost always kill the lvl 80 running around in red dhide. (Notice that I said almost ;) )

Your opponent in FoG isn't just there for your convenience. It would be so much easier if they were. Sorry to sound like a total [wagon] lol, but it's just not fun to chase someone around. I don't go around flaming people or anything though when I play FoG. Infact, I get flamed a lot by opponents. If it's not fun to chase people around, then why play FoG? I don't like bounty hunter, therefore I don't play. Simple logic. Battle robes are not worth it. Fishing gauntlets are good but for only extremely high lvls. Rc gauntlets and dragonslayer gauntlets are the only things worth it. No one is forcing you to play. Oh, btw, I was against a lvl 138 when I was lvl 113. I beat him by 300 charges and he had 99 range and ARMADYL. He tanked; I ran. I don't care if you can tank and get 900 charges. I can run and get 1500 because I use strategy. If you're playing just for a rank on the high scores, then good luck trying to get to the top. People up there actually run and hide, not tank in the middle.

two very good points ^_^ Exactly. The problem with bots is that they will ALWAYS undercut prices for the cash because there's no effort. Without bots people will cut yews when the demand is high and then stop when the supply is ample, which then resets itself (although yew logs are a poor example of the S.A.D economic cycle since they have an extremely stable price. But that point can apply to other resources.)

I actually win all of my games, except for a couple once in a blue moon I also tank the middle, just the runners, they'll run and telly back to middle, then it takes forever to find them, so thats why I hate them :wall: How the heck do you win? You can't wear blk dhides, cast ancient magics, or even wear dragon armor. If you are tanking in the center, only very weak players and those who don't know about the term of running will be your victims.

Player B is wearing full Verac's, Elysian shield and a whip/ags. You are both lvl 138. Player A kills player B. Player A does not receive full verac's, elysian shield, whip, and ags. Player A instead receives full Zarosian armor (made-up items) as a drop. Zarosian armor is untradeable and is only obtainable through pvp. All of player B's items are gone, lost in the dark abyss of java code, never to be seen or heard from again, like blue party hats. This update will decrease the surplus of end-game content while giving players an incentive to risk it. If the pvp specific armor was only useful on pvp worlds, then the prices of armor and weapons would sky rocket. If the pvp armor was universal, then the prices would rise and then plummet because many people would have Zarosian armor.

And this is why I don't go to multi-site events. -.- First off, there are three factors: 1)Both sites could have sabotaged each other 2)Both sites could have been griefers (those who are part of Tipit/Runevillage yet sabotage their own) 3)A third party (people NOT part of either site) could have sabotaged their team. Second, why the hell does ANYONE care if the other cheated? All for some e-rep? Accusing others of cheating DECREASES that non-tangible item. FYI, telling others to be ashamed of themselves also does that. My question is, why did the match even occur in Castle Wars? Why not in Clan Wars? It would have been a much more controlled environment and actually revolved around pvp (Castle Wars is technically capture the flag). The only sabotage could have been people not willing to fight or some espionage (which is what the callers are for). Arguing like a bunch of miniclippers( :lol: ) just make both sites look bad. It's better for both the accusers and the accused to shut their yap and take this whole thing in stride. P.S. does anyone have at least the faintest idea of what next week's event will be?

That thread, unlike what it suggests, is actually against the people who are against running. Technically, this rant is about other players, thus it should be locked. But running is an entirely legit tactic and should be used as much as possible. If you want to find something easy, play solitaire or minesweeper.

Sometimes OPs give nonsensical arguments filled with the slathered gore of the English language and Greek logic because they have a one-track mind and are oblivious to anything except "OMG U R S0 RITE!!!" Other times it's just that people have a different opinion that the OP. Is that so wrong?

You can't add runescape manually; they patch it. But runescape is a browser game, so probably in a million years, they'll add that to the list. However, since fullscreen opens a new window, the xfire guys might add THAT option in the future

Depending on your preference you can do one of two things: Stick with Duradel all the way (I don't know why people keep saying he's the best; I like Chaeldar the most while Duradel's tasks in my opinion are second worst only to the Burthrope master.) Go with Machezna in Canifis for 9 tasks and then switch to Duradel for the point multiplier. You get 9 points + 75 for each task 1-40 and 9 + 255 I think for 41-50. Machezna's tasks are quick, therefore they're viable for taking up tasks for getting to Duradel quickly. First one maximizes slayer exp Second one maximizes slayer points Take your pick :)

just do slayer tasks and range every task you get til 70 range and then stick to blue drags.
