Thankfully, it does seem to be used less frequently nowadays.

They're losing lots of paying customers, its hardly a laughing matter for a business. Wow, do you know anything about how a business works? Jagex will be deeply concerned with the amount of money they are losing through members quitting, especially if updates such as summoning fail to attract sufficient members to replace them. There are always complaints after every single update, you should really learn to live with them.

I think the updates were mainly aimed at RWT. Yet both RWT and pures spolit certain aspects of the game.

I find training and raising my skills fun.

I completely agree, when you start playing to avoid issues in your life, it can allow runescape to take over making things a lot worse.
