  1. You know, there's some suggestions here I can actually see happening. The cloak, the vampire teeth would be a good one.
  2. I think there's a picture thread like this already. I'll see if I can dig it up for ya... EDIT: Here's one. It's quite old, so I don't know whether you could bump it without getting locked, but it should satisfy your curiosity for a bit ^_^ http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=4983
  3. Happy birthday smeghead! Have a good'n Sunday. You may have been against it, but now it's happening, have a blast. And if I see you come on tip.it during the party, I'll ban ya! (h4x)
  4. Technically, I doubt it does smeg all. But when you think of it like, the last thing he sees before he sleeps, and the first thing he sees when he awakes, is a football, it may have helped him focus on it.
  5. I can't see them going for RS3. There's only so much you can do with a browser-plugin game. They've stretched RuneScape pretty far already. JAGeX may well continue with MMORPGs, like a client form, but then, that wouldn't be RuneScape.

    R.I.P. Tupac

Now now, we may not all be fans of rap, but you cannot deny that, for some people, Tupac was an inspirational figure. People could relate to his music (unlike today's rappers). That's quite an accomplishment.
  7. I'm pretty sure we had a thread like this before, anyway. Have a search for it.

    R.I.P. Tupac

As if his momentous post-life releases aren't enough. To be fair, we could have a R.I.P rememberance thread every day for a great person who died, so I can't see this going anywhere.
  9. Your 'final' farewell? As opposed to your first...second... If you do come back, we won't need a thread about it.
  10. It would be a game which leaves your console open to hackers, is crammed full of ads and then breaks after 6 months. And that's being optimistic.
  11. This may sound kinda weird, but I want to keep the songs that only I (and a few others) no about a secret. Why? It's not to say "Oh, I knew about them like a year ago" if they make it big, I just don't want them to make it big. Call me selfish, but songs like this I want keeping quiet, because I feel it is so often the way now that publicity and media dilutes the song's meaning and impact. I mean, look at the Hurt cover by Johnny Cash. Yes, many people already knew it, but now there's going to be a new wave of people relating to it as that "Nike advert song" - missing the entire point of the song.
  12. Who buys 50 tickets a week?
  13. Best rap song ever? Grandmaster Flash - The Message. No question. All other rap songs merely try to emulate that piece of genius.
  14. Thanks katha, for missing the point yet again.
  15. Play. Instead of quitting when you're bored of the fad. Stick to it for a change.
  16. Meh. I only know what the dude in 101 dalmations told me :P

    Wierd teachers

We had a Chemistry teacher called Mr. Cunningham, and he was a massive Happy Days fan, amongst other retro things. I remember walking in and watching him write on the board: C is for Chemistry C is for Cunningham. He had me there! Usually, I'd think a teacher doing that would be unbelievably sad, but not with Mr. C. Scouse charm, enthusiasm and great people skills. We would have a competition, me and him, in a lesson to see how many times we could refer to song lyrics by a band or artist. Paul Simon was a brilliant one, it ended up with Mr. C going "Carbon dioxide is written as C-0-Kookooca two". Loved him, a brilliant teacher. I had a drink with him the other day and it's like he's a mate, not a teacher.
  18. Not being funny about it or anything but what should we say instead? Hey, don't get me started on the political correctness police.
  19. Yeah, I really wasn't trying to imply anything with that statement, it was just like Anesthesia said, if you used that term anywhere around here they'd lock you up.
  20. Oh please. Don't tell me this is going to become another test of your "Old skool"ness. "I remember when Lessers looked crap. OMG good times"
  21. There's a good benefit of running first thing in the morning. Due to your sleep and obvious lack of nutrition, you'll be running on low energy resources. This will cause your body to begin anaerobic respiration earlier, which is good for two things. One, if you're in training, you'll begin to feel what distances lactic acid begin hurting you and two, because the anaerobic respiration burns your fat reserve, you could lose a bit of weight. I was about to recommend eating an Apple as you got up, as they wake you up better than coffee would apparently, but do not do this. They do not digest very well which can cause discomfort in your running. If you really need something, try a banana.
  22. I'm a rugby man myself. I've represented North of England and played in an England trial match. When I move to London for Uni I hope to link up with Blackheath RFC, who are in National League 2 (2 from the Prem).
  23. Hold on, you actually refer to them as colored people?
  24. You should always start with a melody first, and then the lyrics.
  25. You can have my insomnia if you want! I haven't been able to sleep properly all summer.
