My Birthday :) (Update pg. 2~What I got for my b-day)
Bubsa replied to deloriagod's topic in Off-Topic
Your parents are demi-Gods. Like, on a Colonel Wurtz level. A firebird for a gift, wawooza! -
FYI, I've seen the video before, when it was first put on google video about 6 months ago. Let's just say, it makes Michael Moore's conspiracies look good. But, I suppose you believe them, too?
-
bill gates has prob got more money, than youve been alive in seconds That doesn't actually answer my question though, does it? So what if he is a nerd? You're trying to tell me that if your rich/famous you can't be a nerd. Well, I've got news for you piggy...you can.
-
I'll pass on the message then to the families and friends of the 3000 that you think the government killed them deliberately, shall I? Nice chap.
-
Are you trying to say Bill Gates is not a nerd?
-
I really don't think that's appropiate on today of days, do you? Today, can't we just put aside who's responsible, the reprecussions, whether it could have been prevented, the conspiracy theories and the rest and just have it as a day of rememberence for the people no longer with us, and to support the people they have left behind. For just one day, please?

Think you have... You're darn tootin' you have! That's why the smashing folk at the Off Topic Event Team present to you: \TIP.IT CELEBRITY CHALLENGE! \ That's right! Now you have the chance to flash your Falsetto, folly your vocal folds and reign supreme as tip.it's premier singing sensation! But hold on to your kah bah gees, it's not that simple. You'll have to impress the darkest, most sinister, evil, kiniving and dispicable judge in the history of everythingness. Me! That's right, Bubsa! Picture may appear different to Bubsa's true description Now that I have you trembling through to your toesees, let me list the order of events: 1) Open auditions are held for all tip.it members. People may submit one entry in which Weezcake, How2PK, and myself will judge upon. If the entrant receives two "Yes" votes or more, they proceed to the next round. 2) All second round entrants must perform 2 songs (or more, depending on the quantity of entrants) to be judged again. The judges will decide 12 entrants to proceed into the elimination finals. 3) Here comes the fun part! Judges delegate 4 wannabe idols between them to act as their mentor. The judge's role of mentor includes helping with song selection, production and performance. However, ultimately the choice of song etc. lies with you, the performer 4) Each entrant performs 1 song. Tip.it members are encouraged to vote for their favourite idol to progress further in the competition. If a poll can't handle 12 options, rounds will be split into 2 heats of 6. The two idols who receive the least amount of votes go to the judges vote. The idol who the judges want to keep will stay in the competition, the other, goes home. 5) As the competition progresses, genre themes may be introduced and idols may perform more than 1 song. 6) The final 3 idols will perform 3 songs in the finale. One favourite from the competition already performed (choice may stretch back to the heats), one original number not performed, and one pre-determined song for all to sing individually 7) The idol with the most votes in the finale will be crowned Tip.it Celebrity Champion with a custom rank! Now, I know we all hate rules (Booo! Hiss!!) but here are just a few to help you out: You may only enter the open auditions with one entry. Choose wisely! (We haven't got all day!) You may only enter mp3 recordings. It just helps us with distribution, bandwidth, etc. You may enter as part of a duo, trio or group! You may not perform original numbers. Sorry about this, but it needs to be a level playing ground. While most of us can attempt to sing, songwriting is a very advanced skill. You may, however, perform unique cover versions of songs, but not parodies. You may partake in banter and psychological warfare between other contenstants, but not perform personal flaming, particularly in one's music preference. Remember, this is an all round competition, so if you flame rock one week, and have to perform a rock ballad the next, you're screwed. And finally... You must enjoy yourself! :P Think you've got the voice of an angel, but the computer abilities of an iPod manufacturer? Not to worry! I've composed a tutorial which you can find HERE which teaches you how to record, upload and even edit your voice! Upload your mp3 of you singing and either post it here for public affection, or PM the link to one of the 3 judges. Some good file hosting services are in the tutorial. Good luck smegheads!

note: this thread is a continuation of this thread http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=537777 Please read that thread first to undertsand. BUT HOLD ON A MINUTE BUBS! How do I record my entry? Grrr, would you like me to spoon feed you too? Humbug, well, I suppose a tutorial won't hurt. First up, you'll need a microphone. Sorry, but singing telegrams are prohibited. Now, if you already know how to record audio files into an mp3, great! If not, here's a tutorial to get you started: Tutorial Contents: Step 1: Downloading the program Step 2: Downloading the codec Step 3: Recording your greatness Step 4: Saving and Uploading Tip.it 1: Amplify your recordings Tip.it 2: Add a backing song Step 1: Download the freeware program Audacity here. Now, we all know how to install programs, right? Good, let's continue. Step 2: In order to encode in mp3, you'll need a codec. "Spare me your techno lingo!" I hear you cry, but alas, it's really simple! First, go to where you installed Audacity. That's probably for us Windows folk: C:\Program Files\Audacity Next, right click and select New Folder, like so: Name this folder whatever you want and then enter it. Next up, the codec! Click this link and save to a location. Where to save it? You guessed it! That new folder you created, alieky so: In you go amigo! Step 3: Sound as a pound on a merry go round! You're ready to wow the judges! Recording couldn't be easier, simply open up Audacity and you'll be greeted with this screen: See that big red dot circled? That's your record button. Simply make sure the two things marked by the arrows are set as they are on the screen, the input being your microphone and the detection rate right up! Now you may sing to your heart's content! Sorry, I can't give a guide to this section, as you can probably tell by my singing efforts >.< See all those jiggly lines appearing on screen, that's your voice! Fun hey! But try not to get too carried away and stick to singing! Step 4: Finished? Alrighty, let's save this beaut! First off, you want to select file -> export as mp3: Now, you may be asked by the Audacity Gods to locate some weird thing like lame_enc.dll... Wait a minute, that's the codec you downloaded! Groovy! Remember where you saved that? Well locate it! Now you see, this is my trick, because you can save your mp3s next to your codec! See? I'm more than just a pretty face \ Hey, what's this st00f? Well this is actually really handy! Now you can label your mp3. If you put your name and everything on we can recognise your work much easier. Now it's time to upload the song! There are plenty of free, easy to use upload sites. Here are just a few: http://rapidshare.de http://mega-file.net/ http://www.megaupload.com/ And of course you can always upload it to your webhosting if you can! :D Tip.it 1: Is your recording playing back too quiet? Then amplify your music! All I've done here is highlighted my recording, by clicking on it, selected the "Effect" menu and clicked amplify. You can then make it as loud as you wish. All entrants are free to use the other effects available, but remember, sometimes less is more! Tip.it 2: Why not add backing music to your recording? If you've found an instrumental mp3 or converted a MIDI file of the song you've sang, you can import it into audacity like so: Simple hey! BUT HEAR THIS YOU GRIMEY MORSELS! You will not be marked down by submitting an acapella (without music) entry in the early rounds. The final 12 idols will be given an instrumental mp3 of their choice to import by their mentors. They may ignore this, but it may effect the public vote!

Political power.

Of course, not everyone will think that's a bad thing.

Weird hey? Scouser likes American Football :P Yeah, I like watching the games, you know, the stuff that happens in between all the commercials? :P T.O. just cracks me up :D

I hope it goes well for you.

Montoya left for NASCAR mate :P Schumi was a great driver, but in my opinion, not a great sportsman. His win at all costs attitude is admirable, but when you take into account all the times he's tried to cheat (and sometimes got away with it, most noteably 1994/5 in the Bennetton Ford in Adelaide), I won't miss him too much.
-
He was fed nutrition through a tube. Don't you remember? It was here in good old England! People put burgers on radio controlled helicopters and stuff. I love our humour sometimes. Serves him right for being an attention seeking phoney. Although, when some people pelted his box with rocks, that was too far (chavs).

About 5 or 6. The problem with being an insomniac is when I get to sleep, it's so close to day time, the hustle and bustle of the day wakes me up far too early for my liking :(
-
I'm off to uni to do law as like insurance after I pursue my acting dream after it. If that fails, I'm going to Fiji and Hawaii to work on the island conservation. And if I can get a roof over my head, enough money and 3 meals I probably won't come back.
-
Good to hear, good to hear. I love Michael Vick. I still can't get over T.O. going to the Cowboys. After his ordeal with the 49ers and getting "ahahaha wiped out" on the star by that safety!
-
I can! It's called coincedence! :P Hehe, it is funny how things happy like that, like with episodes. I really can't explain it, I'd like to think it's more than a coincedence and hey! Maybe it is!
-
I can't believe I'm actually going to King's College London to do Law. Me! Probably the silliest smeg on the planet! I'll post piccies when I'm sober >_<
-
Well, first up: Hey oiler! How you doing? Haven't seen you for awhile and I'd like to hear your opinion. I think that we are. Sometimes we don't even mean to, but either directly or indirectly, we contribute. It may be good or bad, but I think it happens. If you think now, society is so widespread it would be ignorant (IMO) for it not to cover internet activities.

Is it always in world 7? I thought that was a Tip.It world 'Twas the OoC world before, IIRC. Silly really, no-one has ownership of a world :P
