  1. spam much? OT: very nice, does need details though, good work on the moon, looks better now, but the sky and wall and rock need just a little something else, so it does not look all simple.
  2. very nice, but personally I don't like the huge black line :( very very nice work though, i wanna snuggle him ;p
  3. No leet-speak or Caps On Each Word or misppeelings FTW Totally agreed. People get mad at me when I tell them stop talking ly1 1h$. High-Five! Joined when I was 11 in late December of 2005. Now I'm 14. I'm glad you like literacy, because that will be sure in heck useful in high school. I kid you not, in the IB program, i read (we do peer to peer editing) a paper that was written in internet speech. I hoped he changed it, because meh teacher would've been so mad. (it was actually a pretty good essay too  ). So yah, don't fall for the tempation. Your awesome, man. I'm in Gifted, which is like IB, but with more freedom. Literacy is one of my strong skills, and every kid in my class freaks out when I type. xD. Well, my Civics, Science, Math and Reading classes... and homeroom. Gifted classes=same people for every class. But hey, at least people can understand me and not understand d0z3 ppl wh0 tlk l1k d1s. Leetspeak is annoying, but not as much as bad grammar and spelling. Given I can barely understand it even if I try, I can safely ignore it. But when people type like Trolls, as in monsters not posters, I can barely stop myself from giving a scathing lecture as to why good grammar and spelling is important. Example: "Wat dat ting? Can I by id from you? Pleaze?" I don`t care if there`s a very discreet mistake, like The two brothers looked at each other while their three cousins looked at one another. The two brothers looked at each other while their three cousins looked at each other. most people don`t know which is proper, but horrible gramemr bugs me.
  4. I thought half of the point of those items was a token to say 'This is proof that I was there'? Sure, it's not an advantage, but those items would suddenly lose what makes them, them. Aye. The only way that would work was if the items sold were a different color or had a slightly different appearance than the originals. yer, I don't think that selling old items would be a good idea, I got my yoyo and I wouldn't like other people getting it now, it's kind of a sign of my accounts age. I would like to see items like that, though. new items, not ones that were in the game before
  5. Noob: can i buy ur cape? Me: no sorry, it's untradable (Zamorak from Mage Arena) Noob: wott no its not u noob its obby cape nubnub Me: *walks up to someone with obby cape* this is an obby cape guy: yes, shivers has a zamorak cape noob: wot no u to nubs guy: *noob's name* shut up, just go check the GE then. and leave me alone noob: wots ge? (were standing at the GE BTW) me: the building right over there noob: that's the trade bank u nubs, i'm leeving
  6. remembering.. when thre was 50 people on at a time.. when addy plates were like spirit shields and 3a today. when the first rune 2h was brought into the game, people went nuts over it, when there was no wildy (before it was created) when there was no fishing or slayer, no p2p, when jmods logged in to get your opinion of things. that's what I remember. but the biggest thing of all, I remember when people wewre nice, respectful, mature, and helpful.
  7. heh, flamehawk, i've been playing since I was nine as well, 7 whole years i've been wasting my life on this game :o Back then there really was not large community, and the three people on my friends list aalways helped me with quests, and aided me with skills, and I thimk that is what is lacking in the game 'these days'. Part of the problem is the higher levels, who a new player may associate to an older player, this 9 year old is playing on a level 75, and a 13 year old asks him for help, most of the time, and truly, most of the time, the higher level will brush him off and walk away, probably using the term "noob", and making the new player, who is probably more mature, either quit because of the craptastic community, or just become one of them, if the person is truly 'mature' he will read guides, and figure it out, without the help of the higher levels, and what's great about tipit (and all fansites) is that levels don't matter, it's how mature you are, how well your typing is, how you can reply and creat topics. what's disapointing is that some people atribute low post count to 'noob'. so people, don't do that... and i'm drifting really off topic here, just saying that age dosn't matter, maturity does, 'noob' is not a level, it's an attitude, help others, and help yourself, don't be insulting, be respectful, even to the level 6 who asks you to show you were taverly is, don't brush him off with the typical 'noob' comment, you can disrupt your fletching or alching for a few minutes to help someone out, and who knows, maybe YOU will need help from someone with a quest someday, you don't wanna be brushed off, you would like that guidance. so come on people, be respectful to EVERYONE, regardless of age or level, even if you choose not to go to a far extent to help someone, even a few words can help.
  8. Come on people, please discuss THIS topic, not some random flaming about something compleatly un-related. and the items would be relativly cheap, like the best would be $7 and the cheap items would be like 75c
  9. oh come on, you can put more effort into your responce then that.. you seriously fail... why not tell us why not?
  10. That provides a use. No, that idea, though good, would be more appropriate for Summoning. Something like a dragon or crow, that's known for hording things of a gold/shiny nature. Well I'm not against cash shops having a unique use outside of equipment bonuses or acting as raw materials. It's when the cash shops directly interferes with the economy by disrupting the traditional means of these, through our usual raw materials/armors/potions/etc that the cash shop has a negative impact on the game. The fear is that cash shop items would cause existing items to become obsolete, thus affecting the economy harshly, but this wouldn't be the case if an item held a completely unique ability such as drop retrieval. Although I do agree that adding it in with usual game content, such as an update to summoning, would be more appropriate. agreed. that would be more appropriate for summoning
  11. yeh, item masking, like i said earlier, for example, a paintbrush to replace your rune longswords (or any other 1h wep) the added item would have no bonuses, but would keep the bunoses of the item under it, so your weapon would look cool but still be usefull and it would not sell items that you got via other means (ex, ring master, naval, etc...) also, i thought that it could sell other pets, ones not for summoning, like a pnada or pheonix, or soemthing lke that ;p disscuss other items that you would like added :D
  12. to clarify: Items liek the party hat, as in, no bonuses, for the only reason of prestige/ lookign good. i'll edit my first post to make it more clear
  13. OMFG thank you, EVERY SINGLE ITEM IN THIS HSOP WOULD HAVE LITTLE TO NO (like no more then 10) BONUSES, THEY WOULD BE UNTRADEABLE, AND THEY WOULD BE FOR LOOKS ONLY! the idea would be if people wanted a rare clothing item, that was only available if you bought it for real cash. basicly just prestige.
  14. If Jagex were to bring in a cash shop... many people posted that having it selling tradeable items/high value items/gold would be a bad idea, but that was not my intention of this post, the purpose was so that they would sell UNTRADABLE items, with no bonuses and soly for the purpose of decoration, for example the ring master outfit. soo, less flame, more discuss.
  15. heya pope, nice work, but there's a few things.. overuse of renders (C4D) i would use less, or use layer effects to make them look nicer and blend, smudge.. for blending, or maybe box blur (just a little) and use some nicer colours, ones that flowwwww
  16. O.o sorry everyone, it said 'gives equal xp, so i assumed it was equal xp for the farming xp, not construction, sorry there >< well.. nevermind this topic ;|
  17. blah rant blah rant.. i got the the third paragraph, and figured this was going no where.. if you don;t like the game, then take your own advise, and don't spam up the forums with this non-sencible crap. and BTW, i'm not some die-hard runescape player, I hardly ever played, and I just started playing more now, I have a social life etc.. I just hate reading things like this, sorry.
  18. Soo, magic tree seeds cost, WHAT? 160`000?! And... Look how long you have to wait for them to grow! Sure, you get 13000 xp for it but look at this, you can get a bagged magic tree for the low cost of 50`000! And look 13000 XP!!! Thats 110`000 gp you will save, and with that extra money, you could buy 2 more magic seeds, and what else? Theres more? Absolutely! There is 0 wait time for the xp, just instant XP,XP,XP (+10k, give that to me ;p) three times the xp for the same money, sure, you wont get the ability to cut the trees down, but if farming xp is what you want then you can get from 75-99 in a matter of minutes (well, less then a day anyway). The only downside is that you also need 75 construction... But you might want to consider this option.
  19. At Sohkmj1, the ignore list is great, but i just don't use it really, because when one person follows you arround, saying "what cape is that?! no it's not u nubbitron!" and I ignore them, if s/he starts saying something and everyone around me can hear, and they start talking to him, or to me, I like to know what's going on, and most of all, there just a waste of space, not the good -ol talk to your neibough kind of thing, people sit mindlessly killling for hours, right next to anothe person, and wont say a word, othen then maybe "hi" or "lol".
  20. I agree with every one that posted more then 1 line.. seriously.. if all you have to say is 4 words.. go back to club-penguin ;o yes, more money = more updates, but i'm talking about the community, will it get better, i think not, the updates will become oriented at the age group that is subscribing, making minigames like vinesweeper and pest contoll, vinesweeper, compleatly ruining the point of farming. in a few months, i'm sure, there will be more people [bleep]ing and complaining about how long summoning is, how expencive it is, and thee will be.. what's that? another minigame! i'm starting to rant a little here, so i'll get back ontopic, i think if the community get's younger, so will the game, and that will lead to it's downfall, in my opinion, and I know, not everyone that found it from miniclip etc is like that, and there are some very nice and respectful players that have found it from miniclip and are under 13, they respect the game, it's players, and the skills and how there are meant to be trained. and if anyone read this far, then congrats ;o
  21. Years ago, RS first started advertising on the popular gamse sites for younger children (as younger I mean games targeted at a younger audience, as opposed to other popular sites) I was watching my sister play computer for a while, and she went on the site 'addictinggames' and I notised ads for runescape (and arcansist), also on the site 'shockwave' and there's ads there too. where do you think these ads will take the game?

  23. some tips: don't pillow shade, choose a light source, it will make it looks alot better (pillow shading:) [hide=good shading, with a light source][/hide] you might also want to blend the hair with another colour.
