  1. At least you back up what you say, Assassin.
  2. Why are Conservatives automatically labeled as anti-environmentalist? Bush is pushing for reduction of fossil fuels by 2050. Why? So we reduce pollution and save money. I'm starting to get sick of your gross overgeneralization of the Conservatives.
  3. About to head up there. I will confirm it if it's true. Keep an eye on this post, I will edit it in.
  4. Bush threatens to veto the bill for improved healthcare for children, costing an approximate $35 billion, while at the same time approving the bill for an additional $120 billion funding for wars in Iraq/Afghanistan. You forget that the bill was not just for children's healthcare. It was calling for the money to be taken out of other budgets. It was simply attached there to hurt bush when he vetoed the actual bill. If the line-item veto was given to the President, the children would have gotten their healthcare. I can't believe someone as smart as you would only listen to the media's one-sided sensationalism.
  5. What's there to be skeptical about? He was only talking about it being symbolic. He's not trying to prove that the moth was his aunt. Sorry for your loss. I have lost both grandmothers and an uncle this year.
  6. About the bolded part: Thank God, because people who enjoy war and killing are sociopaths. And I like your comments to the media. I can't imagine a single news station actually telling the truth, because truth is not good ratings.
  7. I think you should be able to choose if you want to be drafted or not. Of course, if you are not, you should lose all Selective Service benefits. That means no social security, no voting...hell, you will have less rights than a convict! The draft will never be instated unless it's a major war.
  8. A lot of the troops I talk to are very proud of the work they did in Iraq. We may not have gone for what we said for, but we did remove a tyrant for power. A female marine I knew from high school was a drill sergeant helping train the new Iraqi army, and she noticed that there was a large amount of women joining up. They are excited that they have the freedoms to do so, and the Iraqi army is almost to a level where it can support itself. We just have to be patient, and the US can be out of Iraq in a few years. Al Queda terrorism in Iraq is dropping heavily (most of the current stuff is ethnic infighting or terrorists from Iran or Syria instigating crap). Afghanistan is a different story, because Al Queda is dug in. What I would like to see is the UN sending in Blue Hats to do security. Surely such a noble peacekeeping force would not be killed in cold blood by insurgents.
  9. Step 1: Pick up phone Step 2: Call your healthcare professional Step 3: Set appointment. TIF OT is not your WebMD.com.
  10. Wales looks very beautiful. That heavily wooded rocky area is very pretty. About the only climate area Texas doesn't have. All our woods are just flat hills.
  11. They work, thanks.
  12. What do you mean "hard to view"? They are thumbnails, you click on them they get bigger... I meant the facebook links. I can't view them because we aren't friends. Which might just be rectified in mere seconds.
  13. The pictures are kind of hard to view with facebook :P.
  14. Ye of little faith. We will overcome.
  15. I will lead the resistance.
  16. What's funny is that all of you say you will vote for me, but I pretty much just summed up the goals of the Republican Party :P. Almost all of my points are conservative in nature :D.

That's it. No real latin. That IS the name of your band :D.
  18. -Reduce troop count in Iraq, but give more control of troop movements to the Pentagon. Washington has no place setting war actions. -Declare gay marriage open to individual state governments. -Privatize the Healthcare industry with some stipulations. The government will still control the sector, but will not be paying for it. -Fire tens of thousands of useless bureacratic jobs that are soaking up money. If Senators really need a staff of 40, they are going to be paying for it, not the taxpayers. -(This will get me impeached) Cut the pay of all Congressional positions. Reduce Congress to working 24 of the 52 weeks of the year. I believe a fair stipend for being in Congress would be 25 thousand dollars a year for Senate, 20 thousand for the House. Congressional officers would be required to have their own jobs or live off their own money. -Reduce Federal spending across the board. -Abolishment of Welfare, and the introduction of Letter Agencies similar to the New Deal system. It worked back then, it will work now. -Welfare will only be granted to those with disabilities and the homeless over the age of 55. -The line-item veto. This is essential. With this tool, I will obliterate pork-barrel spending. -Scholarships for higher education made possible by all the cuts I made. -In contrast to the OP, further punishments on victimless crimes. If you get killed, your family will attempt to sue the other person, even if it was not their fault. It doesn't matter if your family won't, someone's will. -Clarification on censorship. Define what is legal and what is not in regards to the First Amendment, in addition to TEACHING these standards in schools so people don't have this skewed view of their personal liberities. -Further restrictions on abortion unless it's a health issue or rape. Learn consequences. I agree with the Canuck's view of giving stipends to women who carry the baby to term and care for it until two years after birth. There is a limit of two children in this manner, however, to avoid abuse. -Raise the minimum wage to $8.75 an hour, increase health benefits. Let's lower that poverty line. -Raise trade tarriffs. -Become less involved in foreign affairs. It's about damn time we convince the U.N. to become more involved in foreign situations, instead of the U.S. catching hell for paying billions more than any other country. -Federalize major construction projects vital to interstate commerce, such as new interstates. -Make migrant worker programs attractable and even pay a bit for work visas for Mexicans. Make legal entry more attractive. -Relegate more Federal powers to the States as defined in the 10th Ammendment. I'll probably think of more later.
  19. Carrots and Apples for me. I love apple juice though, it's just the texture of the actual fruit that makes me sick. And carrots...ugh.

  22. Like a dissertation or something? Kind of. More like a really evil English teacher, and it was like half our grade for the class.
  23. Here's that P22 I was thinking about buying next year. My only problem with it is that it is double action, which is merely a safety concern.
  24. Rofl, yeah.... A company that delivers FPS games would team up with a company that delivers RPGs. :boohoo: Uh...Valve has loaned the Source engine to several RPG's. It's even used in racing and puzzle games.
