Nuclear Bombing Of Japan
Do you mean military target as in actually hitting the target, or hitting military personell? If you mean 82% of the bombings killed military forces, then you are very wrong... It's probably a misunderstanding. Target. The actual detonations were very small. The reason civilian casualties were so high was due to the aforementioned cramming of population centers next to the naval docks at both cities. And US leaflets warning of the blast were dismissed by the Japanese government as propaganda. Bubsa, American history books barely give a page to World War 2, much less politics of it.

Nuclear Bombing Of Japan
Good question. I actually did a history paper on whether or not the mass bombing raids by the RAF on Germany could be justifiable. Franky, no, not if the targets were non-military and not if the war was coming to an end (as it was when we started fire-bombing places like Dresden). The bombing is too indiscriminate. Complain to the thousands who died during the Blitz. The Germans pretty much just lobbed railroad rounds and rockets across the bay with no real targets. Plus, carpet bombing was the norm for the time. Precision bombing was not accurate enough or able to be applied to large targets at the time. Even the venerable Norton bombsight was only accurate to a few hundred yards. And about the Japanese bombings: 82% of the blast to Hiroshima and 93% of the Nagasaki blast hit military targets only. In both cities, the damage accounted for less than a quarter of the entire city. We did not flatten the entire civilian population. In addition, the long-term effects of radiation were not studied enough. You could also say the same for the Japanese policy of putting dense civilian populations next to military targets.

Internet Acceptable Use Policy
:( Sad I think they meant interracial to mean between species. After all, we are the Human Race. If they meant color, they would have said ethnic.

Good Mom Gifts for Christmas?
I'm buying mine a painting. They were always unhappy with the painting that came with our house in the dining room, so I have asked an artist friend for one of her works.

a potential solution to the dueling problem: trust stakes
I highly doubt this would work *inside* of TIF. Judging by the sheer response to "I be middleman plz" someone's going to skim or run off with the winnings. Just take it to the wild. Any smart players can DM without worry of pile jumpers.

20 November 2007 - Duel Arena Tournaments and Changes
Uniquely, stakers can RWT by purposefully losing stakes to players they pre-arranged to lose to in exchange for real money. Staker A promises to 'give' Player C 10mil GP in 'exchange' for $20, they both go to the duel arena and Staker A stakes 10mil GP and Player C 9if they have a brain) stake a similar ammount, Staker A turns off auto-retaliate and loses, the exchange is complete. Jagex CANNOT track this. Of course they can. All they have to do is record the outcomes of duels over X amount, and have a report be generated when the same thing happens too many times from one player in a suspicious manner. While Jagex has the capability, they only have 300 staff members who play the game around the world. Many of these are already busy with bug testing, play testing new updates, writing new updates, game engine coding, ban appeals, etc. They simply don't have the numbers to have people sift through all this information.

Staking riot
I'll give you one hint as to the true nature of this move. Stakers will adapt and take the risk...elsewhere. Where Jagex wants them to take it. I believe that this move was a less than subtle measure by Jagex to repopulate a very underused area in the game.

Staking riot
Looks like it. I don't think they were happy with people making so much money from a single aspect of their game, especially so quickly (some people). And the fact that 80% of stakers probably transfer stuff as well. 80% of good stakers, who posses over 100m probably do, but not to a pure or main, to a Muel account. A muel is a low level account, not for training or skilling, but for holding valuable items that you feel more secure with on a different account. I see nothing wrong with that. MOST STAKERS DO NOT SELL FOR RL GP Mules are illegal. Very illegal, because it's still transfering items between accounts. The riot itself is a joke. There's no discussion of the update. It's just hordes of people going: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

OH TEH NOES! [My Lit Teacher is a PETA Activist >_>]
Why aren't they allowed, and where is this rule. Also, it is incredibly hard to fire a teacher. Trust me. Unions ftl... if anything, they'll move her to another school Excuse me. You put in 50-60 hours a week for pay barely above the poverty line, spending thousands out of your own pocket per year only to have a girl accuse you of sexual harassment because you gave her a C on a test she wanted an A on. Now you will understand why unions are important to teachers.

Well, technically, not in the classroom she can't. And at Skully: what would that solve? Nothing, it's just childish and rude, plus he can be suspended for not going to detentions if he skips enough of them (I think). As far as I know, teachers can state their own opinion as long as they show thats its their own opinion. In high school I think it's good if a teacher tries to show that it is ok to have opinion, just as long as they know there is more then one side, and there is always facts to most things. It depends on the district. However, the norm in Texas is that we do not disclose our opinions or political views unless specifically asked by a student.

As a teacher, I can say that turning the lecturn into a personal soapbox is a sure fire way to get fired. You are there to teach them unbiased facts, not spread your own personal agenda. If you want to flex the student's political views, let them have some nice controlled debates for a grade (assuming your class can handle it). The one subject you should avoid is abortion, however, since students are not mature enough to debate it properly. The same could be said for origins, but that's discretionary. I probably wouldn't start that debate in Texas, and I really shouldn't since I teach history and it's a non-issue. But Social Studies classes usually have debating potential. Ask your teacher to try to set it up if they have time in the unit plans.

Toliet-Papering
We mastered this in Texas, where it is in fact illegal. Just be really careful and have a lookout. The police never really care, as long as you have a reason for doing it. What I am saying is that random TPing is illegal. However, calling the people you are TPing beforehand and asking permission is in fact legal. Parents are very willing to play along, too, as long as rain is not in the forecast.

Does anyknow know latin?
If you are taking the permanency of the tattoo in question, you might as well just not get it. No offense, but that's really a stupid thing to get for a tattoo. Unless you are a 350 pound killing machine or a soldier, at least.

First Car
You should be looking for the following three factors: -Fuel Efficiency -Price -Reliability My first and second cars were Saturns. I put 185k miles on the first one (that cost me $3000 dollars and only went in the shop 4 times for major maintenance). My second Saturn was a hand-me-down from my Father, but I have put 25k miles on it and it is in perfect health. I also get 40-45 miles per gallon. I plan on buying a fancy Saturn this coming summer (because my current car is like the baseline with no power anything). Keep it simple, it's your first car. I had the option of a 68' Mustang for my first car, but the insurance would have been killer, it gets 12 miles to the gallon, and restoring it would cost thousands.

Deer Season!
Deer steaks rock. My boss and her husband hunt frequently and she is going to make us deer burgers in a few weeks. I'd rather eat dear than cow. Deer get a noble death against a predator. Cows just get sledged in the head. And I so loooooove cow.

Merry Christmas hohoho - to - Happy Holidays HaHaHa
Political Correction: Someone who is not offended by what you say telling you that everything you say is offensive to somebody else. i.e.: A white person telling you that you should call black people "African-Americans" even though you were referring to a Jamaican. An atheist tell you that saying Merry Christmas is offensive to Jews and Islamic people, but put no regulation on celebrating Kwanzaa, Ramadan, or Channakuh. For further examples, see "Uptight Ultra-Liberals with Sticks up their Rear Ends and too much Time on their Hands."

Booing as woman dies in queue
I buy all my tickets online. I've got my boarding pass in my hand before I even get to the airport. I walk from security to the chair at the gate. First in line to board, too (buy C class tickets if you are going coach, they board first). It was kind of rude for people to boo in the first place. I mean, spitting at people for doing their jobs? Would the people doing the booing or hissing appreciate having to stay late?

November 13th: Guaranteed Content Poll - Graphics
How about we just update all humanoids and Players graphics at once? That would be the big update for whatever month, and make us all happy. However, for NPC's I want to see Guards. To go along with it, Ardougne and Yanille need graphical updates.

My survival kit from Boy Scouts. Everything I'd need from a hatchet to a signal mirror. And survival kit is singular. I always take it with me anyways.

You try to force the complete reduction of oil in 10 years. You'd be impeached. He is requiring 40% reduction in oil purchase and production by 2025. He is also offering incentives into alternative fuel research by the Big Three. Sounds pretty strange since he's doing big business in the oil company. Why he would want to "make less money" is odd.. Motor oil makes up approximately 80% of the US's oil consumption. Oil wells can still make money for other uses (and even off the natural gas after the oil has run dry). Motor oil however causes the most pollution. Like I said before, you just can't simply stop oil consumption within a few years. You have to gradually fade it out.
