  1. Around $750 I think... Maybe slightly more, but i'd like to keep it around that :)
  2. Get a new HD fast. ^.^ Oh well, now that I know I have some space left I'll start filling it :P ~komodo She could have some huge drive :P In that case 5.6% is a bit :( (However I only have 80gb total :x) I freed up 20% on C, 30% on D, and a whopping 50% on G :D I only have a 55GB :P and now it's down to i only have 300MB left :P I better start deleting stuff i think? :P Anyways, hopefully i'll get a 250 gig with my new computer, so it shouldnt be the biggest problem :)
  3. I'll be re-using everything 'cept for the MB, graphics card and proccesor... i'll add an extra 512 MB ran though, and a new bigger harddisk... Also i'm considering getting a new keyboard and mouse, but that i dont really need help with :D
  4. Sadly, i've had bad experience in the past with AMD, and great with Intel... I feel more secure and better off when i'm sitting on an Intel... :P Will look into the PCI-E support though...
  5. And prob a CPU cooler like Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu LED, dunno though?
  6. My current computer; - Intel P4 2GHz - 512MB PC2100 DDR ram - 56GB HDD (Maxtor) - ATI Radeon 8500 - 17" Amitech TFT It does seem to run a lot slower than my laptop though (AMD 2800+ 512MB RAM, ironicly the same as my dedicated server lol :P), so i'll deff need to upgrade it... I'll need a new motherboard as well, seeing that the one i currently have can hold a P4 2.2 GHz max... I looks like my best bet is to upgrade a bit? I was thinking something along the lines of this; - Intel P4 3GHz - Additional 512MB ram... total of 1 gig then - Additional 250GB HDD (then i'll just use the old one for backups... - NVIDIA GeForce 6800XT The products i have in mind would be the following; - Intel Pentium 4 Processors (478-pin 1M cache) 3 GHz - Kingston ValueRAM 1 x 512 MB - Maxtor DiamondMax 10 250 GB - ASUS N6800XT/TD - ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe I'm not 100% sure, but i think they will fit together, right? Advice ploz? :D
  7. I have knowlegde of how to upgrade my computer, i build this one 3 years ago, and it's still runing (needs upgrades, yea, but after 3 years it would only be fair to expect that, right? :P), so thats not a problem really... :)
  8. Ok, i have 3 options... I need to do one of them, i just dont know which, and i'd like some advise from all of you... Now, i want to be able to play games like Ghost Recon AdvancedWarfighter and Oblivion, however, i currenlty do not have a console, and my computer is hardly strong enough... So i can either; 1) Update my PC with a new motherboard, grahpics card, RAM and processor 2) Buy a XBOX360 3) Wait for PS3 to come out in november (at least thats what they say) Money is somewhat an issue, it's not all that big though. the problem is, that i really want a console because then i'll be able to invite friends home and play with them etc etc, but using a pc is more universal, the games are cheaper and that's what i'm used to... And i havent listed PS2 since it would be a waste to buy it now when the new version is comming out in 7 months... Plz help?
  9. Will prob be a project down the lines, right now i have bigger things though, and we can just get by with the money the ads bring in, but later on it might be relevant to make :)
  10. I havent forgotten Matt :)
  11. Well, if you didnt block them in the first place and insetad clicked the normal ones when we had those we wouldnt need to use popup's and other agressive ads would we? ;) Or even better, if you could just get a few people together and donate 1 buck or even less a month to the site we wouldnt have the problems at all... If you donate, go ahead and block the ads and feel good about it, if not, i don't see how you can even complain about it... But let's not turn this into another "moral of ad blocking" topic, there has been enough of those already i think...
  12. And you really believe that if it was a keylogger they would go straight up and say "yes, you have downloaded a keylogger and we're hacking you"? :P But no, Ruenwebs is pretty secure, i know a few coders from the site, there shouldnt be any danger... However, you should always be on the watch when you download stuff, which is generally why Tip.It doesn't have any downloadables...
  13. Thats hardly the only use... The main site doesnt have one single login, and still it was without a doubt esiest to do with php ;) PHP is the best language to use when you wish to create dynamic websites, no doubt about that...
  14. Thats why we only have 1/20th of the users using the forums? :?
  15. Sad to see you go :( Looks like it will be one hell of a drop party though, i hope you enjoy, and that you'll still drop by the forums from time to time? :)
  16. I don't see why you would block all Tip.It ads  Just block the flash ads and popups, those are the only ones which lag your computer and are annoying... works great for me anyhow... But then again, if you donate from time to time you can block the ads without feeling bad... and i mean, donating 5 bucks to the site once a year or something like that is really all thats needed, not like we're asking for much :P Anyways, reply on what cameron said, then i bet he'll be able to help you out as usual :D
  17. 2 hrs and 45 mins till i have it downloaded... god bless servers that upload with 5KB/s  :P
  18. Cant seem to find the picture, even though i saw it just a few weeks ago :P But yea, was indeed purple...
  19. sorry for the double post... I would just like to say thank to Andrew for coming out and somewhat adding to the debate, I personally have for almost 2̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâý years trying to get a personal message back from anyone at Jagex without any luck what so ever... I really welcome this chance to see Andrew (or anyone else in the Jagex corp.) do some PR and giving us a chance to express and ask what we need to do outside the strict rules of the Official Forums :D Thank you Andrew, i really hope that you will keep doing this, the official Jagex oppinion is ALWAYS welcome, it's just very hard to get it normally...
  20. Which is exactly what it did... I can see Andrews point, but according to these topics, the goal of the Article and the Times for that matter has been 100% reached: simpsons vs limparse Concerning DroolMAN... Jagex's Reasoning That's just a few threads debating this issue, not listing the relative Times topic on general where andrew posted... Sorry guys, but i fully support this article... Short version; Tip.It Times is meant to bring up the issues which have been debated amoung the people in our community, and that was what it did... I can list at least 10 topics more (given access to the deleted board would also help) which are aimed at the same thing as this article... ^ I have posted that in the staff lounge as well, it is MY point of view, not the staff's point of view... Please take a note of that... Furthermore, something i forgot to mention in my post there is that the Jagex query and appeal system have been longly debated, which is another reason for it to be taken up in the Article... I don't know if Andrew is following this thread or not, but i cannot see why we're not allowed to publish this article, when it's stated on the page that the view of the relative articles are not nessecerity the same as Tip.It, it's simply a writing which summarises a heated and debated topic amoung the community...
  21. Or someone else... ;) If you're forum isnt that active, i'd say go with what Cameron posted, it's a pretty good hack :)
