No way... 1) It would get messy having them split into stuff the admins can see and stuff the crewbies can see... I mean, surely you don't want crewbies to be able to see the ban appeals, do you? Currently it's only the admins who can do that, and tbh i'm quite happy it is that way... 2) we alreasy now get loads of people asking us to add stuff to runescape, to unban then, to ban players... People believe that Tip.It == Jagex, so if we put an option saying 'ban appeal' there, we'd have to deal with hundreds of runescape bans... With the current system, it being built in to the phpbb subsilver theme, it underlines that this is for the forums, not runescape... Ease for the staff over proffesionalism IMO...

you can just set img { display: none; } in the css, then the imgs wont be shown or used in the page ;)

All the admins of the site can validate this, after the interview we got in-game varification that it was indeed the account of Zezima we were talking to. So please don't doubt at all :)

Just wait for it Matt, i have something currently in the works which hopefully will be a bit different from the normal overwhelming of forum based bad coded fansites :) We always want to see good sites out there, so if you just put enough work into it, i don't see why you shouldnt be a success :P

myspace would actually be done two things... Asking for personal info and advertising a website... And to who ever said that they couldn't say that Tip.It isn't safe; Very true, but do you really want them to waste time on reasearching wether or not all the websites that are mentioned in the game are safe or not? Come on... I fully understand this rule, either you allow all, or you don't allow any, at least when we're talking about a game as big as RuneScape... And for gods sake, stop bashing RuneHQ, they have their style, we have ours, if you can't deal with it, then go somewhere else... Discussing who has the best quest guides or the best community will only get this thread locked, and most of you should be aware of this already... It's quite simple, don't bad mouth other fansites, just like you aren't allowed to bad mouth other players... If you have some constructive to say about Tip.It, then by all means feel free to do it on the two boards made for this..

Using regex to split it it way better than str_replace or explode... At least thats what i've found out... even though regex is a bit more complicated, too me some tries at least :P

php mainly, javascript from time to time... If you dont know what that is, and it confussed you, i suggest you make some lessons/read some books/visit some websites about this before you even try... The tip.it calcs are mainly made in javascript to lessen the server load, and to make it faster for our users, however, the calcs with formulas we want to hide (since it takes us like a year or more to get them right we don't want people going on and stealing them the minut they go online...) like the max hit calc and the combat calc, are written in php (combat calc by me, max hit calc by michael (posted above)) ;) Hopefully that'll help a bit, but seriously, do some more research if you really are confussed about this...

if you want to avoid levels above 99 and level 0 instead of 1, i advise you to use the version i posted :) but happy we could help, you prob could have found it anyways on the site just just copied it there :) And to people who ask who has time for stuff like this; we're some of the same pople who make sure tip.it is here to help you out, so be nice to us, will ya? ;)

i went with the CPU, graphics card and MB you suggested... I wanted to buy the parts here in Denmark though, so for the ram i went with 2xkingston 512 PC5200 (it was the cheapest 1 gig ram i could get :)), and i bought a cpu fan with blue neon just to make it look cool, again, because of price and location i went with a Maxtor 250gig HDD instead, it was just a bit cheaper :D The graphics card i'm waiting for is apparently hard to get, i just contacted them yesterday and they said that i could be waiting up to a month :(

Ok, just got the CPU, MB, RAM, HDD and CPU fan in the mail today! :D Still waiting for the gfx card ^_^ Soooooo exited! :D Edit: It's all in my box now, i just need the graphics card, and then i'm roling... i actually thought i read that there was a monitor port on my motherboard, but there isn't, so i'll just have to use my laptop until the graphics card comes :D YAYS!

Thanks a lot Stuart :D Just one question, will i be able to use my 512MB PC2100 ram in that MB you posted? If i remember right you can run faster ram in a slower MB, but not the other way around?
