If people ever start using our chat room, there might be an idea in making a teamspeak server, but when there's only like max 10 active ppl in the chat at a time, i really don't see what good a teamspeak server would do...

I used to use Google Adsense and that feature can be disabled. I'm not sure as it would be a very wise decision as you probably get a lot of other income from companies wishing to advertise on this site. Perhaps someone needs to get the calculator out to work out how much income comes from those private advertisements. In the past I have PMed the urls of bad google adverts to Sunli who usually got them swiftly removed but perhaps something could be added to the "feedback form" on the tip.it website? add something to the 'category' drop down to say "Bad Advert". Perhaps that would work better than the thread on the actual boards. You could add a little report icon next to or below the advert box which would redirect to the form page?Other --> Advertising, and it does get used to report errors, and the admins do regularly look into that feedback :P

Sry for not coming back to this thread before now... As for limits, tbh i think the new sizes is a bit over the top, so yea... Old fashion with something like 300x100 or 300x120... woopidoo2: I am indeed going to be using it for a long time... What is needed surely is hiding all the forums from logged out people? yes/no/maybe. At the moment the whole section is practically useless, its right at the bottom of the page no new person is gonna see it before they registerIMO yea... either we should show all the posts, or just hide all other forums than the announcements and the welcome guests... But yea, I talked with the admins about it, and they don't really seem to be wanting to do much about it...

I might be able to code stuff for the main site and all, but I'm really, REALLY bad at graphics... So yea, If someone out there would be kind enough to make me a signature I would be very grateful :) Erhm, some things about it... It should not include any Runescape stats since i don't play anymore lol :P If you wish, i like the techie look best (reload the page a few times to see some of my current signatures, that's the style i like the most i think)... I have yet to own a pixel signature, so if you wish, and feel that you have the time, that would be cool as well :D Erhm... If it's any help i code php the most, so if you'd like to include some coding stuff in it, php is what you're looking for.. Yea... Sure you can. Auto-add to usergroup where permissions to view / read that forum are denied, on register ;) That'll be a massive usergroup lol... We'd be better off this hard coding it into the layout with a if($_SESSION) thingy... But then again, is it really that needed?

But isn't that a rather speciallized usergroup? I mean, the users darkwebz gets is somewhat more techie people than the general puplic which uses RuneHead? I'll try to dig for some stats from Tip.It, i don't think i'll have much luck though... i can however tell you that last time i saw the tip.it stats, we had 8% FF, and then was may '05, so it's somewhat growing lol :D

Apparently there's a lot of good reasons... Stats directly from a server which gets well over 5 mil hits a month: MS Internet Explorer 78 % Firefox 18.9 % Opera 1.4 % Safari 0.5 % Mozilla 0.3 % Netscape 0.3 %Sadly it's still long from the numbers many people wish to see, but it's getting there :)

If you simply hower over the website button with your mouse, the link should appear in the statusbar of your browser, if it's a link you know, then don't click it... it's not any harder than that :) I don't really see a reason to go in and make a filter for the websites, IMO it would just be a waste of time for either myself or Albosky...
