Perhaps, then again - would tipit risk this forum on the first stable build of Olympus. I have faith in phpBB Group, however from the point of view of large forum owners, I wouldn't be suprised if they wait a few builds before making the switch.Still, we wouldn't have to wait more than a few months for that, seeing that whatever was hackable would have been fixed by then... And with it just around the corner, we'd be able to use the custom theme for what? 3-4 months... Anyways, that's the reason why i didn't continue with my custom theme, dunno about Cam, he had one going as well i think?

That's how our site looked in RSC (RuneScape Classic), when RS2 (the current version of runescape) came out, we redesigned the site totally... We've kept that site for the few players who still play RSC, however, most of it is broken (mainly the databases), so it doesnt really serve much of a purpose, other than for the memories :)

RuneScape, RunEscape, RunesCape... Lot's of combinations... IMO it's just a name, like Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, Amitech, Nokia etc etc...

If you read below the calc, you'll see that we're still working on the feature, and that's it's not 100% correct yet... So yea, it might be a bit off, but it's not an easy task to make something like it...

I must say that when i saw this post, a tear rolled from my eye, over my cheek and dripped from my chin, you're by far one of the most amazing people i have ever met Nathan, and i have always valued our conversations greatly, no matter what they've been about. I feel like lately we've lost touch, and that's my fault mostly, i seem to forget about good friends and just live in tip.it, and i can say that i time upon time regret it, seeing that people like you are the ones who make life worth living... I know that if i ever had a problem, i would be able to come to you and get advice and comfort, and i really hope that our friendship will last, even after i "quit" this place as well... Killing the view count would be a nice idea. Shall we expand on this? I don't know of anyone that uses it, and DragnFly is right, it would kill a lot of server load to remove this bugger. ~Mr. D. V. Devnull Removing view count wont happen either, it was been done before, and we got ALOT of people wishing it back... IMO start a new thread where ppl can suggest changes, even tho i hardly think you'll get anywhere lol, we've optimised these boards more times than i care to remember (Albosky :3>)

currently i'm half way through my third 300 gig HDD, so i would say yes :D But then again, i have a lot of backup of tip etc (you'd be amazed how much there is on that server :P) + runehead clan database backups and so on... Would prob get some more of my CD's in as well, not really sure tho...

For me i know it'll be special... Currently i'm a genie lamp away from cmb 100 and skill total 1500 (without construction, i have cons 1 :P), and it's been something i've been working on ever since rs2 came out, so at least for myself it'll be special, and tbh i dont really care if other ppl think the same or not.... Personally i have not ever done pest control, and i know that it's my own effort (even tho i agree that rs2 is somewhat easier than rsc).. It might make it more special cos it's something i've been working on for 2 years, but still, as i said in the chat, if it's special for you, i dont really see why others matter...

Not really a lot... As i see it, it's a simple MOD to make, however i'd be quite difficult to moderate correctly, and would make the post count system quite inaccurate...... Moving the topic now...

Because I'm not asking for that many. And plus he could put a limit of 2 or 3 max for the amount of RSN we want in there (It's not going to take much effort to add that feature). Ever thought that others might? I mean, sure, it's eay to add another 10 feilds for rsn's if needed, but really, where does it stop? You might not need more than two, but others will... And then they'll ask for it to be etc etc... IMO it's an evil spiral, best thing to do if the admins go for this is to have it comma divided...

IMO tip.it has lived for a long great time without buddies, and IMO we don't need them... Agree with GSW :) Note that the responce above is from me personally, and not the admins/staff in general...

It's just a problem with the email server... If this server cannot connect to our mail server then it outputs that error.... I've had the same problem on the main site a few times, it's no biggie, and hardly anything we can do anything about without have a load ballancing server farm for just the email system, which IMO is a bit far to go...
