so, about time for me to post here. i'm glad they did this, i started back in fall of 01 on my original character, blah blah blah had a member character for rsc/rs2beta/rs2, have been on rs2 ever since. went inactive when rsc shut down, couldn't ever get back on. this is a dream come true for me, i've wanted this for so long, just to be able to try it again. i plan on playing this more than i've played rs2 in ages. i'm also having more fun with this than i am with rs2, more fun than i've had with rs2 in probably a year. i've been just levelling by myself on rsc, happy as can be. i'm enjoying it so much, honestly. it's amazing how far we've come, but it's also amazing at how far we were back then. the only thing i legitimately miss is a run button. i can live without the rest of the stuff and still justify the $5 a month for me.

it's almost exactly the same as starting rs2 lol. rsc tipit go there for guides and stuff and for starting out. it's quite simple.

I totally agree, but the Onion is a pretty nice source too. Can't trust any of them: even the people at The Onion will put a spin on a story if it makes it funnier. the onion is supposed to be fake news, lol. you aren't even supposed to take the onion seriously.

[spoiler=dont' click if you haven't beaten it]the end was disappointing, by far. it's totally fun the second playthough though, and once you beat the final boss again enemies are level 49-52. you haven't lived till you've fought a level 51 superbad spiderant *element*. the fights are intense, superbad enemies are really superbad. i'm still totally having fun with it though, even after 1000/1000 and beating it fully twice on one character. give it a chance, play with some friends online, or just run an open party and play with random people who join in, i've made friends with like 10 people like that, i've met some awesome people on borderlands.

well, i beat it completely the second time with my level 50 soldier character. i got 1000/1000 the other day on it, so now all i can do is gun farm and get some other level 50s if i want in the other classes.

i wish the demo was longer, that's the only thing i was really disappointed about. other than that it was all fine and dandy. boomer bile is sweet as a weapon.

k, so i just saw the subtitle of this thread, and i have to say that swedish fish are awesome. that's all i have to add.

k, i'm level 20 now *note* you can level a LOT faster, but i tend to take my time and explore a lot *note* i've also tried co-op on xbl with thragon13 and one of his friends. it's pretty epic, although the fact that the guns are first come first get kinda sucks, he beat me to an awesome shotgun -_- oh well! i'm having fun with it, i'm on the second area, and i've got 22/50 achievements for a total of 375/1000 gamerpoints. not that that matters, but obviously it shows that some achievements are easy to get. although i've done some crazy [cabbage] on here so far, i double sniped 2 people with an incendiary sniper rifle, and they both were critical hits, and they both lit on fire. i also killed 2 people with one shotgun blast twice in a row. reminds me of some of halo's achievements except that they aren't achievements in this game :(

i'm level 15, but i took a 3 hour break. it's amazing. i've not even done the co-op yet. i plan on trying that soon :D

they are doing a fairly big advertisement here now that it's almost out. and that reminds me, the release date is oct 20 usa, oct 23 for uk, oct 26 for pc (later due to optimisation taking longer than expected)

oxm gave it an 8.5 some other magazine gave it a 82% i think. i can't find it right now. but the reviews are looking great so far! also, i'll play with you all at some point, i'm just gonna play with some irl friends first :P i will have it on the 360 btw.

OMG THIS GAME LOOKS AMAZING. i know some of you have heard of it. there are a bazillion millon guns (official term). e3 09 video producer guy (or something) interview gameplay footage anyway, it seriously has millions of guns. they built an AI system that they fed parts and other weapon data, and it combined them into the millions of possbilities. all of them looking slightly different as well. it's an FPS/RPG hybrid, seemingly one of the most equal joinings of the two i've seen. it has everything you would want from either genre. watch the videos, they help explain a lot, and they do it better than i can. OH the other main cool thing about this is it's 1-4 player drop in drop out system link/xbox live co-op. it's a single player game that you can also play with friends! this is what i wanted in mass effect, this is what i wanted in fallout 3. the ability to play with someone else. that alone sets it up higher than the others.

i'd just like to throw in my 2 cents here. marijuana is great. i've never felt pressured to go in to harder drugs. the only things i've done are because i wanted to try them, like weed, and percocet, and an oxycodone pill. the pills were free, and they were amazing, but i'm not going to mess with that stuff all the time. that's just stupid unless you need it. they were fun though, but don't do them. they are addictive. weed is not addictive. i felt more desire for pills from just one of them than i ever have for weed. the addiction factor just doesn't exist on weed, i quit for almost a year because i was asked to. i had no withdrawals, nothing. it's easy. personally, i say legalize it. it will benefit the economy and it'll benefit many colleges in the united states, all my college friends smoke weed, lol.

the special is just for the things on the bottom row of the inventory screen, refills your health for some chems, or some other stuff too. and you can buy different skills to put there and use.

the friend requests on here are the same as the friend requests on the phpbb3 tif. you can see when they are online and stuff.

If you are complaining about the DEFAULT skin, change it to deflection. Simple as that. We'll assumeably get more skins in the future as well.

do you know where i can find.. sailors? also, Incoming was my favorite game, i don't know why, it was just fun.
