After 7 long years of playing RS I've decided to take a break probably on a more permanent scale. Why? Boredom? No, I'm sick of jagex catering to noobs and doing things to hurt pures such as when they changed the monkey madness reward to give defense experience, this was obviously a shot to hurt pures and it did make many people lose all of the hard work and money they put into maintaining 1 defense in case you wondering no, I am not quitting because of that reward *I'm still 1 def*. I am not quitting at the moment just because of the wilderness ditch of course that is the straw that broke the camels back but jagex has been doing NOTHING but catering to noobs and nerfing weapons lately. Not only that but they do things to keep us from ranting about it like demanding that all rants be put in one forum. Bye for now Jagex. I will probably start playing RS again if theres a future where you don't cater to noobs. I didn't have much of a problem when you just made quest almost exclusively for low lvls and beginners but your recent update with the "ditch of stupidity" as its called crossed the line from catering to noobs to ridiculous for me. Seeing as this thread will more then likely be locked by some mod attempting to stop other players from seeing this little goodbye message I'm also going to leave this little rant. I can see why mods will lock topics and prevent players from ranting about losing their items, noone cares and Jagex wont replace them anyway but, this is a rant forum RANT FORUM why are you preventing people from ranting about losing something? Furthermore I can see your reason behind making people post all of their rants about new updates in a single forum but I think your real reason is to help mask the actual amount of anger over an update by putting it in one cluttered hard to read forum where people don't normally put as much feedback as they would if it had been a single thread. Intro On Karjama, the many native tribes have been destorying eachother's totem poles and hiding them. The now enranged tribes need you to get back the pieces of their totem pole and repair it. The minigame there are 5 different locations, all on Karjama they are at: Karjama Volcano, Brimhaven, Shilo Village, and Kharazi Jungle the point of the minigame is to find the pieces of the tribe you are representing's totem pole and repair it. Your team would need to use all skills to complete the minigame. here is the thigs you have to do to get the pieces of the tomtem pole. all items needeed are supplied, but can't be taken out of the minigame agility: complete an agility course, the peice is at the end Thieving: pickpocket NPC's, de-trap chests, and pick lock doors to get keys., use the keys to open a chest containing the piece. farming: grow some vines. the vines don't take long to grow. when all vines are grown, they will form a ladder for you to clim. climb the ladder to arrive on a cliff with the piece on it. mining: mine rocks surrounding the piece. fishing: use different fishing technices to fish up different fish. cut open the fish with a knife to get the keys to a chest containing the piece. hunting: hunt using different technices to get the keys to chest contianing the piece. the keys are on necklaces that are on the animals' necks. more coming soon! open for more ideas! there is a way right now, but it requires a lot of money and i high cinstruction level (magical cage thing in throne room) people with lower construction need to be able to kick only the peole they want out of there house and not anyone else
