I'll confirm Hellpups drop tons of gold very often (practically 9 out of 10 times). Rather easy to melee with even Runite, or halberd, or range them.

I can't tell you exactly what the issue is, but it could be that you're using a beta release of this OS. Perhaps a complete removal/reinstallation of all java packages is in order.

Not really. They put the code in for future updates like this all the time, but I'm quite sure that they didn't expect someone to die with the familiar, thus opening up a bug. If anything, it's the players' fault that they exploited it. Wouldn't it have made sense to stop and think about it for a second instead of doing it like everyone else?

The whole nature of their update was to cut down on traders getting their goods off in the Wilderness. A loophole was that one could trade their goods on a less-crowded server. The less servers there are, the tighter the loophole gets, which makes it very difficult to exploit the theoretical loophole that existed.

I think you are missing some big concepts here. You're talking about rules that people are breaking? He's talking about trying to live. Incase you don't get the big picture here, most adults can easily make $200 in a day. Not $180 in a month. Breaking rules isn't the big ussue here. And this, people, is the grand misconception about RWT and how to combat it. It's always been something that people failed to consider (well, most people anyway) when talking about RWT -- would the rules really matter if you were starving? The answer is pretty obvious, if you asked around: Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead! Honestly, what Jagex had to do in order to save its own game was something of a necessity. It's difficult to consider both sides of this argument, but what can you say? I'm sorry the poor guy is out of a job, and I'm sorry that people like him are suffering in poverty, but what's a community to do...sit by idly and let RWT ruin the game, or let them exist and cause even more havoc to the game?

The graphics were substandard, the gameplay was repetitive, and there was no sound. But for whatever reason it gave tens or hundreds of thousands of players hour after hour of satisfying gameplay. Did you install VideoLAN/are you using it explicitly to watch .AVI? Right click on the .AVI and select "Open With"..., then find VLC.

Here. Use VideoLAN to play your .AVI files. I've always used it when WMP doesn't want to play nice. Works very well.

Sounds to me like it's, more or less, a driver problem. Figure out what type of graphics card it is, and then raid the manufacturer's site for downloads.

I guess that by speed, you mean overall clockspeed, and yes that's true. However, perhaps you didn't realize that clockspeed isn't everything to a processor, eh? The Phenom are actually a very improved quad-core processor, which (I hope) would revolutionize the way people do quad- or more processing. Theirs uses a revamped architecture (whereas the Core 2 Duo/Quad uses an existing architecture, which outlines its flaws even more so), which calls power on demand. Now, I dunno about you, but 89W is a lot for a processor to use all the time, so I'd rather have PowerNow! technology. It's at least a close competition. Slow and steady, slow and steady...
