That's because a person with maxed melees vs someone with maxed range or maxed mage will almost always win. Melee influences your combat level more than range or mage because 99 att and 99 str is more powerful than 99 range or 99 mage. If you could max combat via mage or range while keeping melees at 1, you'd get beat up by all the people who maxed combat out via melee. In contrast, someone with 99 range against someone with 80 att/str will be more of a fair fight since their combat levels will be about the same. Slayer cannot and never will influence your combat level because no matter what slayer level you have, you won't be getting any extra advantage on an opponent if they haven't trained slayer. It's not like melee or range or mage, where the higher the skill is, the more powerful you become. It's not like prayer, where the higher it is, the longer you can use combat-related prayers to make you perform better in combat. It's not like summoning, where you can summon a familiar to help you out combat. Slayer does not help you in combat. Therefore, it should never influence your combat level. [/hide] See, what your problem is, is that you're under the sad assumption that the only thing combat is used against is other players. While it's true that Slayer won't help in pvp (Unless you're playing soul wars) or most major boss monsters, there are currently THIRTY-NINE monsters in Runescape that can only be killed with the appropriate Slayer level, and cannot be harmed otherwise. If you don't train Slayer, and go up against one of those monsters, you will ALWAYS lose. Think of it that way. I swear, people like you are just so closed minded when it comes to things that are "out of your usual runescape routine." thats like saying that quests should give you combat levels aswell because it allows you to fight new monsters. does that sound logical aswell?

Just thought I'd make a slight correction. : yep, fixed : no biggie, every1 screws up at times lol

and the hammers last the most exp each anyway. then the next best would probably be the crafting needle

for normal slaying/monster killing, use obby shield or rune defender for high level bosses where you need more defence, an obby shield normally works for me because its cheap and good def, but a d[] would win there. also, if u want even better, go for a dfs. its really a matter of where you plan to use

get your stats up, its pretty hard to do any real monster hunting at your level. also, dk and gwd is the best money makers for mhing, or corp beast if you get VEEEEEERY lucky.

im pretty sure each prayer brawler gives 1200 or so bones, and you CAN use them by burying in wildy, but its not the best way. use dragon bones, or if you feel like it, maybe ourg or dagannoth, and sacrifice them in a POH. it will give 1.5x the normal sacrifice exp. dag bones give 378 exp in that manner or you can use ecto, but its boring and tedious. just use a gilded altar in a pvp world

the fastest way is definately not gold w/ gaunts; its beaten even by steel plates and sc hammers (which is actually a good way to train) for farm, do the best trees you can. i did yew herblore, do prayer potions or whatever the highest potion you can make is. also, serum 207 is tarromin+ash, 50 exp per and is rather cheap

prayer is only cheap if you collect every single bone yourself, but in the time you spend collecting them you coulda made enough money to buy all and use a gilded altar. tl;dr:buy and sacrifice edit: looking at yous stats, thats probably gonna be hard. but meh. prayer isnt meant to be an easy skill

75 mage is easy, and rex drops arent exactly rare, but whatever makes you happy...

muj, cs isnt that bad really, and you get a fair amounr of lsp if you miss drops, even the normal non sigil drops. it adds up alot seeing as alot of the drops are 400k+. as for which would make more, it depends on your luck, really. ive seen people get sigils very close together and ive seen people go thousands of gwd kills without a single hilt, on the other hand, you may never get a sigil and ive had 3 hilts in a single trip before. there is really no way to tell

i wouldnt mind seeing while guthix sleeps made into a movie, lol. but sadly i dont think there will be a runescape movie, soon if ever. id quite like to see massive larger than life tormented demons, the massive wilderness battle scene of lucien verses the slayers and other heros would also be pretty cool too.

why not just make an IRL blogs forum as a trial, and ifit works out just keep it? i havent had much experience in the past with things like this, but it shouldnt be too hard to create one, right? if there was one i would probably use it
