  1. Cept we know Bilrach the mahjaratt is in the bottom of the dungeon now via the mysterious journals etc ppl found and he claims to be more powerful than zemergoul etc now whihc kinda explains the strnage power Actually, I'm pretty sure the 'strange power' is what Bilrach is there trying to find because in the journals he says that he is trying to find a source of great power. And he does claim to be more powerful then Zemergoul so Bilrach + Strange power = ???? (think Stone of Jas-esque) Wait, everyone remembers Bilrach...Didn't you read that it's all done on his master's commands? who is he? according to the notes, its incredibely strong, and seeks whatever lies below Deamonheim.
  2. You're the one spamming, I'm just declaring what must be declared, WEAKLING.
  3. Greetings, I am Ultimus Mox, For countless of years I have awaited this moment, and now the stars have positioned themselves in the right position and the blood ruby is finally charged. With It I will cast a spell of ridiculous magnitude, a spell that will bind all runes in Gielinor into a single spell, strong enough to oblitherate this plane of existance. The ruby was passed from generation to generation, since the day my grand-grand-father artificer Dolemius reforged it from its shards. NOW the day of reckoning has come, and you cant stop me. Of course if I just intended to anihilate the plane I would have done so without any warning, my plan is diffirent: My goal is to revive the legacy of my forefathers, the dark masters of the green flame, but even with the power I have I cant do that, well a mainly because it costs a fortune. Now, weaklings of this plane, this is my decree: Before the clocks of Gielinor strike midnight, the following items must be delivered to my castle (Rimmington lane, house portal ,44): 1. 50 cubic metres of gold (funds) 2. Fourteen trillion pieces of gold (funds) 3. 250 of each partyhat colour (except black) (pertyhats =economic power) 4. A custom made zuriels staff, that doesnt degrade (POWER) 5. The invisbility cloak (i like to be unseen) 5. Racheya (obvious reasons <3: ) Now when thats out of the way I wish to say several things more: , If the mods interfere they shall be taken hostage ,If a SINGLE demand isnt fulfilled the plane dies. ,assasination attemps are vain, for I am undercover and well hidden (plus I wield INSANE POWER) ,You are all weaklings ,Guthixians may be so kind o follow me and be called Ultimasians Moxians, because, me>guthix , we both threat to wipe this place out of existance, but I have a body, plus youre all weaklings. .Weaklings cant deal damage to Ultimus Mox. Ending a letter like this wouldnt feel apropriate so I wrote a little poem: The stars have aligned, and Death shall soon come, for weaklings stand no change against him, oh carry him goods, and fabled partyhu(a)ts, For he shall rule from now on, with his queen Racheya. We shall meet, weaklings, and only you decide if it shall be your last time here. ~`Utimus Mox`~ -the new god
  4. I was introduced to runescape by a "pro" friend (who was lvl 15 at the time), and all I knew that somewhere is a "black place" with demons and bad players beiong able to kill me, so for like 2 sweeks I hanged out in lumbridge, until a guy persuaded me to pay 10gp and cross to alkharid (I was very scared thinking he'll kill me in an instant). Later, when we found out about runecrafting my friend payed me handsome money (almost 5K!!) to find the altars and the way to get inside, I literally took 3 days to get inside, because nobody would stop and explain anything. I too remember being already "pro" (around lvl 25) and having people at the cow fields working for me and getting me cowhides 50 gp each which i would sell 100gp each at the algharid world 1. I also remember getting 1K cowhides to my friend for the fabled rune two hander, good times.
  5. How I stumbled upon tip.it is quite a funny story. Back in the days I found a nice runescape help site in my home language, and used their guides, but in few days i noticed that all of their maps and images had the tip.it image stamp, i figured out its all copied and translated, so I decided to ask about it on their forums, when I did so my user got banned and the post deleted, shortly later followed the closing of the mentioned site due to copyright violations. I typed tip.it in google and found this site, thats about it.
  6. Hm, I do expect mass bannings to eb effective, but, what im worried about is about the smart ones. The ones who duped 200K+ dragon/onyx bolts and didnt brag to anyone. God help us all, if Jagex has no way of tracking who did it, if such people remain patient and only start using them in over half of a year, they shant be tracked.
  7. I too havent done it, but there seems to be some information on dragonkin in the varrock museum (top floor if im not mistaken), also a cuscene in "the tale of two cats"
  8. agreed on all aspects, I ahev fought the handcannon in the duel arena, wow, it owns hard, its a little slow, but I think the average damage is something like 2,5 times greater. And battlemaging isnt slow, its one of the rare ways to level magic with gaining money, and HP experience,
  9. Okay this bugs me, ALOT: When this update was released and I found out about the new wyrm creatures i thought: "Woah, awesome creatures, and cool drops", the second thing I thought when I saw that the firecape was a requirement ffor the staff of light dropping Ice wyrm was "cool, now, finally some monsters that are ELITE, and only the deserving players can kill them (not to mention the wyrms remind me of the great wyrms)". What compromise, what is this nonsense are those NOOBS talking about? By saying NOOBS i mean REAL NOOBS, LAZY people, who can't spend their time getting a fire cape. Bad connection? Possibly several times better then mine: 1. My internet connection is so bad I can only load RS when theres not alot of ppl on our network,- like mornings or nights, - I can play the game anytime, but entering the site and loading the game can only be done then. 2. My internet connection can be called "not bad", if you dont mind the fact that I lagg out for a several minutes after a few minutes-to hald hour of playing time (depends on what laggy/non laggy activity I am doing). 3. Fighting ANY boss monsters was difficult, I died 5 times doing Dream mentor, and when I actually killed the (quite strong) monsters, I EARNED the right to use expanded lunar spellbook. 4. I have fought Jad 4 times, logging out around once in 5 waves (a little more frequent in later waves), to reduce chances of lagging out, AND HE's EASY. The only reason I havent got the firecape is that my ranged level was around 45 at the time I tried, and blood spells didn't hit him as much as I wanted. PRAYER SWITCHING HARD? are you kidding me??? WITh my louzy connection and my average reflexes I had absolutely no problem distinguishing his attacks and switching prayers. I would probably have got him with the blood spells too, but I didnt read the guides so I didnt knew what to do once the healers came. all of their arguments are invalid, compromise? what compromise? since when Jagex are searching for a compromise with LAZY noobs...
  10. It would never work, people would start making numerous accounts just to take max loans with them and abandon them. Buying items from the ecenomy. It would either have to have a exhange system - one should elave something of great value , and take a loan, or something level based.(dont know how that would work tho)
  11. Can someone explain me how this got so FAIL? such a good idea wasted.... Summoning Distraction and DIversion is supposed to give minor ammounts of summoning xp while training summoning, now, it takes place in mini obelisks (lame(yes summoners train their summonign at MINI obelisks... -.-)), can be done once a week (lame, lets make evil trees grow once a week, that'd be nice), gives fail rewards (and you can only choose one, not boost and items like other D&D's), and breaks RS history. Whats up with them making a plane with summoning creatures? I'd understand if it was charm themed, but after they stated that the charms actually guide your summoning "spell" to a realm, and the secondary ingredient chooses the individual summoned. If this "minigame" of their really isnt just a hallucination after you touch some imbued obelisk, then we can make aby kind of summoning pouches with ONE kind of charm... Jagex could have made this such a nice DnD, nows it a FailFest.
  12. Magic (By combat).-at all times of year Simply wonderful. Its fun to train, and hard to fully master, raises your HP along the way. its awesome. cooking-winter. fishing-autumn woodcutting-spring.
  13. 2 hours. 3 If you're not high enough to enter a decent clan. Dumb? maybe for you, I aint using a staff some lunatics made, who fight to maintaint balance on a godforsaken island and worship some flying metal skull that symbolises nature and tries to "balance" out everything. I swear Guthix isnt as lame as he looks, he is quite a nice god actually, and a cool one. If only he didnt he didn't have all those foolish followers ruining his image he would be more appealing to the modern scaper. If you read the description carefully you can see that the power harnessed by casting a god spell is actually "borrowed". Most borrowed things must be returned to their owners, in one way or another. And I am NOT going to pledge my eternal loyalty to Guthix just because I killed some fiends using his claw spell. And its really only 2-3 hours? Sounds too litle.? If you have completed "the chosen commander" then you already owe guthix your life for being alive, so borrowing a little of his immense power doesnt sound all tat bad, and the doesn't "look" like something, he can shapeshift. He is most commonly under butterfly or floating skull form. And i would like to see the avarage scaper dealing with a worldwide pest control, because that is what will happen if those lunatics vanish. Hm, well I agree on the worldwide pest control thing. But no way I owe anything to guthix, I did "the chosen commander" and what? in what part exactly did we owe him our lives? because all I saw was me helping Zanik to destroy some Bandos avatar, latar Juna said to me that Guthix "chose to spare me" because I have some higher purpose. I tend to see that as another confirmation of my theory: Guthix, spared me while seeking balance, so I could join The True Lord, once he returns and reign over many. Besides, I dont buy most of the things some talking serpent says to me, so meh. I dont owe him anything, he did me a favor (IF he did it) which I didnt ask, ill see that as a present at the most and be grateful (not really).

  15. The special is pointless there as rex will only ever get 1 or 2 hits off on you. So SGS or EE would be far better. And CoG+void mace is still the best spell/weapon for maging. Unless you dont mind the fact that you have to spend massive amounts of time in Pest Control to get it, and that by using Claws of Guthix your allighning yourself with Guthix. Since I dont like either of those I'll be sticking with the staff of light: it looks good (altho it strikes some similatrities with saradoministic items, so im not very happy), it has a good blade, saves my runes, and is the first staff so far that has a special attack.
  16. Peace is for wimps, anyways, you shall be able to re-enter the peace mode, with some draw-backs of course if I recall correctly. After all, this is the WAR of legends, frankly I'm surprised that you couldn't start warrinf right after the beggining. I wanted to assault some newb's castle, so I tried changing my mode, too bad there is no "Hostile" mode, for that would be made of WIN.
  17. Hm, I'm kinda (alot actually) annoyed that this game is GOOD enough to make me want to play it, not RS, too bad everything i did got reset, once the servers get back online, could I join the golden horde? Must I be located in the frozen peaks to join it?
  18. Yes, It's actually always the player's choise to choose the way he plays the game, but some games are more roleplaying friendly some are less. Hm, to what extent do they immerse the player into the new world? that too depends on how much does the player allows himself to be immersed, and people would act diffirently only if they wanted to act diffirently, you cant enforce people to roleplay by adding a class system, I, myself am quite happy with the new system, it has all the classes one may need. And forgive me for my last post if it has hurt you or anyone else in any way, forgive the blathering mage, for I know nothing of love.
  19. [hide] Indeed  2 things that your post brought up 1. I think that the fact that every character can train every skill inhibits the role-playing aspect, at least as you see it. There is no "thief", "mage", or "fisher" characters because those are all parts of every characters skill sets (Not considering pures since those are only for pvping). Personally I act differently that myself when I play, but I don't necessarily buy into the whole medieval England, Tolkien-esqe language that seems to drown out all fantasy RPGs. 2. The problem that arises with the whole alignment issue is the fact that there is limited content, and to unlock all possible training methods/skills/spellbooks/prayers/etc. you need to align yourself to many different factions (Though it seems overall you lean towards Guthixian or Zarosian). With D&D that isn't a problem because you can create your own adventures and plot, and in other MMO's with classes and different alignments, like World of Warcraft with its Alliance and Horde, whole continents are created with just that alignment in mind. Nice post though, it was a fun read  . [/hide] Okay so you both have alot of valid points, but there are things you understand wrong. first: yes there are types of characters, and its even better as you can change your type whenever you want (For example : I'm a battlemage now, but I was a thief some time ago(like a year or so)). The abyss argument is invalid because the abyss is a place FOR zamorakians, made accecible BY zamorakians, if you don't have the cunningness or will (or just simply cant bypass your principles) then don't do it, I myself, was interested in discovering another entry point to the lost city of Zanaris, as I was a well known thief and couldn't just barge in into the enchanted city. Nowadays I am unsure of what god I worship, I'm stranded between mighty Zaros and Seren, so I don't use the abyss anymore. And anyways, who said that you can't create your own adventures and alignment? Well, it's pretty bad then, if you can't because I haven't been having any troubles. Just roleplaying in the server made me meet some great people, who helped in my quest for helping an Asgarnian family, ive also met some great politicians, with whom i discussed the policy of King Roald and the Misthalinian allies. You just got to keep Roleplaying, you see, theres alot of bashing, being called anoob and such, but by enduring it and continuing my quest i met some nice people along the road. And you have a very nice point about the "XP talk" coffeesloth, But i advise you to not give up against the Mentally diseased (they obviously share the same mental disease with the bartender of Blue moon Inn, cause they all think life is "a game in some (magical??) box" ) Oh, and I propose to create a Tip.it Roleplaying league, or something like that.
  20. sounds awesome, is it possible to mage them? any safespots,?
  21. want to make money with magic, try maging aviansies, its quite good xp and money profit.
  22. lol, did you even look at the thread? seriously its got 4 pages, so little people even know it exists theres no way it could have made ANY impact on economy. That thread is just some place where a dude is speculating will we get a queswt, and another dude saying "AMG WE GET ARMORZ". And pouches are also dropping, and alot of other things, but its a little, but wide price drop. I cant even call this a "crash".
  23. Well, i don't know if thsi is correct...Maybe a few years back people who were f2p didn't knew what they are missing on, but now when i went to f2p all the newbs new the names of stuff i was wearing and were asking if i have other stuff, naming places and stuff, new players have a much better knowledge these days. And F2P is fun, even when you know what youre missing on. trust me, I was f2p for over 2 years, It was awesome. Would enver come back, like this expanded world better.
  24. None really liked him? Then why stay loyal? Zaros was gone, his followers felt the emptiness that he left. Azzanadra confirms that Sennisten (the jewel of Zarosian empire) didn't give up without afight, thats why the city was razed. But now, why would followers of a god "none really liked" fight (to the death) even after he was gone? Why not revert to other side? Why bother on constructing the comunion portal in the first place? Why not just forget that Zaros existed? Well, nobody knows the asnwer for sure, but we can guess that Zaros was a good god, his law was his neutrality, he cared not for the alignment and horror his warriors possesed, only for their power and ability to serve him. That seems Neutral Good god for me.
