  1. Well, once you can smith Adamant Arrowtips, do that, that's probably the best you can do with adamant, with minimum losses. (I think around 300 loss per bar?) ~Dan
  2. Report the topic and write that as the comment, and see if you can. Also, that does seem a lot closer, to the actual formula. I'll test it out for a few more situations later (based on known maxed hits) ~Dan
  3. It is possible, but only with spec. Highest possible hit without void or spec is 21/22. ~Dan
  4. The range calculator only goes up to Rune Arrows, and doesn't actually calculate out the max hit, but rather takes a bunch of information and put together a table (more or less). ~Dan
  5. 37/38 still can't possibly be right, since max with Dbow spec and void (with dragon arrows, does 1.5x damage), is 49-49, thereby the max is only 32/33 with out the spec. (Calculations in above post) ~Dan
  6. I can't say, since I don't have 99 Ranged, but give me a moment to gather some information on that, and will check back on it. Are you saying that STR-(((1/10 STR)^2))+(lvl/32.55x56/6.113)/253.3x252.3 is that max hit for Ranged Strength under 100? ~Dan [Edit]: Currently (I believe) max with Dbow spec is 49-49 (Someone please correct me if I am wrong), so if you do 49/1.5 you get 32.667 (with void), divide by 1.5 again you get 21.778 max hit.
  7. That's still over the max hit possible with Dragon Arrows at 99 Ranged. Can you type in exactly what you plugged into the calculator? Cause if I use your formula directly (Copy and paste into a calculator and replace numbers), I get 123.752358. ~Dan
  8. It's 60, It was in my original post. The placement of your parenthesis and multiplication in the original formula is rather confusing, but if I plug it directly in (Using 99 Ranged level and 60 Ranged Strength bonus), you get 123.752. ~Dan
  9. That formula already doesn't work. Just testing the first half of your equation (Assuming that's how much the arrow/bolt will increase your damage, from your base), If you pull out the -1 from the 2nd part of that, you get STR+((1/10*STR)^2), which would mean that the maximum damage of the damage of Dragon Arrows (STR = 60), would be over 60 already, since it's STR + (Other numbers greater than 0), debunking the formula. (The 2nd half of the equation also has to be positive, since there are no negative numbers involved, and your level can never be less than 0). The only way that your formula could work, is if you meant 1/(10*STR) in the first half. However, I still cannot figure it out, because it places the max hit of Dragon arrows still way over the possible amount. ~Dan
  10. I think with the new update to the shops, the default stock in the warrior's guild has been reduced to 0. Not sure if it's going to be changed back or not. ~Dan
  11. Awesome and simple idea! Support. ~Dan
  12. It is one of the hardest Quests. Was until While Guthix Sleeps come out  In my opinion, it still is the hardest. ~Dan
  13. Oddly, I get asked "Are you a girl?" every so often by people...(Perhaps it's my rsn) ~Dan [Edit]: And in response to the OP, I think I know more girls that play the game than guys. For me personally, I'll take it you're the gender of your character unless you tell me otherwise.
  14. I fully agree with you on this. ~Dan
  15. I think one of the biggest reasons why people don't think clues are worth it anymore is because they can't do them fast. I've done hundreds, if not thousands of clue scrolls (Avid monster hunter and TT hunter), and as of right now, I generally can do clues in under 10 minutes (Worst ones being ones in Isfadar, as those take the longest to get to). Also, by now, even puzzles are a piece of cake. If you've done them a lot of times, you normally will know almost where every clue is at (I even know half of the coordinates by heart  ). Another thing, I believe that changed the increase in bad clues, is the fact that more clues are dropped. It seems like the drop rate of clue scrolls have greatly increased from since they were first released. Along with the fact that a lot of items have greatly dropped in price since then (primarily Rune items, the most common clue reward), this results in lower valued clues. ~Dan
  16. Psst...share it with me :D Or...go buy some 3a for the looks =p ~Dan
  17. Zomg, grats N_Odie!!! You definitely deserve it =D ~Dan
  18. Yep, I'm pretty sure that's the homepage from classic (Correct me if I'm wrong). ~Dan
  19. Haha. I'm a collector. It's not a risk investment actually, considering the number of them left in the game. Share one with me? =] ~Dan
  20. Finished off 99 Attack, 99 Strength next...probably Dhing. ~Dan
  21. It's 100 words or less ;) Looks interesting, might post something when I have some ideas. ~Dan
  22. For me, I actually play better now with a touchpad than with a mouse. Majority of my last 2-3 years, I've used a touchpad, so I've gotten so used to it. I would love to try to play Runescape with a touchscreen, that would be a very different experience. ~Dan
  23. One of my skillers (Was trying to get A Tasty Fish, after examining a monkfish, but that was already taken) ~Dan
  24. I agree partially with that clue rewards do need to be increased if they are extremely long (Depends on which type of clues, ofc), however, on the matter of sliding puzzles. You can easily learn how to do these, there is a specific algorithm to move each piece to another position without messing another piece up. You could look it up online on how to do sliding puzzles (4x4), and learn it. ~Dan
