http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjmNUOE-fLA Aesta versus Green Dragons So we were asked for a prepped CWRI vs Green Dragons with the following rules: Starting: About 19vs19, for both. :-) Summary: We prepped hard, having two-three events also setup (most no post) and having few before. We wanted this fight and we improved vastly compared to other fights. With only one caller (myself), we thought we would be out-numbered, but it turns out we were even numbers and showed supreme organization while they lacked the ability to catch up. We took a 20-40 kill gap and never looked back. Thanks for the fight. ^_^ Mid Fight: Ending: #Aesta on the IRC.SwiftIRC.Net server. Contact Marco/Marco[AFK] or any other op. I'm pretty lenient when it comes to the introductions, although I do like to get to know the intro. However, when it comes to a more higher scaled level of system, then I go after the most detailed and let go of any unworthy introductions/applications. For Aesta, I plan on going through every introduction myself and judging what I think is legit. Otherwise, TKO has a very high standard to intro upon (usually) and requires a good amount of effort & detail. Solace, same thing, longer process now as well. So in a run-down: Solace = Introduction->Intro status->FA if accepted after 5 days of Intro->FA for 2-3 weeks->Member if accepted afterward. TKO = Introduction->FA if accepted with good Introduction->Member if accepted after 2 weeks. Aesta = Introduction->FA application->Member if accepted after 1 week. Simple.

Before you post, actually think carefully. This isn't one topic where you should just suck up to ranks for doing an amazing job leading the clan! But you can include that if you wish. To put it simply, what aspects do you admire and respect about your own clan. Possibly even relevant to reasons why you may have joined/rejoined. (In my case. :P) To begin with, to set a post example: I joined Solace back in 2009 when Genesis Knights just closed. I suppose I took a time before joining, as Genesis Knights closed about October and I joined Solace late November. The clan was only pulling about 20-30 people at the time (actually, believe it was 20-25) in which our base was still building. I was more of a lurker then, only coming on TeamSpeak 3 for fights and sometimes to see who is on. It wasn't until I was kicked for inactivity that I realized, I need to step my socializing skills up (along with activity) in Solace if I planned on rejoining. So I took a week or more off from clanning. When I rejoined, I immediately set myself a goal to get into playing RuneScape and for a few months I became more active in TeamSpeak. I got to know Ghetto more and even Dan (Zhandaly) with others. During this time I stepped up in the Summer and was MotM of July, along with Trial General and though I did not get it, it did not disappoint me. I was continously proving myself better for the clan. In the end I suppose I made a mistake but I am going to prove myself once more despite making that mistake. (If you want to know, just pm me, if you can't tell just know I rejoined and am FA. :P) So what's your clan like? What sprung you into your clan and what do you enjoy about it, or past memories you enjoyed? I love reading, call me a nerd, but I like to read how others integrated into their own clan. Include your team if you want, I left out TKO Blitz because it would be too long. Finally, apologies on the wall of texts. tl;dr: Tell us about your time spent in your clan; we all have memories. Only one from Solace. In TKO Blitz I was a few votes behind Scottien for Best Caller, but he def blew me away with Most Motivating. Not even sure if that was a category, though. :P

Unless I happen to get a job, Summer will be the place where my activity will be sky high. During other seasons or times in the year, activity would be different due to other obligations. Throughout my experience in clanning, Summer was and will always be a place for EST clans to develop their abilities in. School year is the time where the core builds and the clan shows its capabilities in less active times.

Binding - 1-2 hour fight, usually around 5-8 deaths. Ranging - 1-2 hour fight, 3-6 deaths. e: forgot this was a month old topic lol

If you could Turn back time in the clan world, When would you have wanted to be present within your clan? When we were pulling 150 options-180 options (I dunno if Solace did, but I think we did). What were the events surrounding that point in your clans life? Massive fights, one with RuneScape Elites, which I was there for. Others such as Echo of Silence and Corruption Run-Ins. Why does that moment stand out for you the most? Though it was more a joy-ride for most as a handful mass-left, it's the moment of truth of whether or not a clan of our abilities could withstand a slump. Needless to say, we are still around, proving that neither mass-leavings or joy-rides can affect our long-term abilities. I also was not present during those times, due to irl activities being more important.

For Solace, numbers definitely. We are really great warrers but without the numbers, we have to fight the same clans over and over with no change in competition. Sometimes we go into fights hoping to be out-numbered, sometimes we lose due to being out-numbered. Once we have around a 70 ml, guaranteed we could pull 50-60 to short-preps with ease and our organization would be pretty good at the same time. For TKO Blitz, improving our activity. We are easily one of the greatest CWA teams, focusing on our organization and tanking abilities. We had a surge of activity that dropped recently, but we can pull a strong amount on a good day. My goal is for this team to pull 50 more often than the 30-35s we usually pull.

- Experienced leadership - Potential of the clan The size does not necessarily matter to me anymore, however, I do prefer small/middle-sized clans. That is why Solace was my choice to begin with.

No clan has to PvP. There is usually a point where if a clan does very well in CWA, the only way to further enhance that clan's progress would ideally be PvP fights. This doesn't go for every clan; there are clans that do not PvP whatsoever and remain CWA-based. That does not make them a bad clan, that just means majority of them prefer remaining in that area and prefer to better themselves there. With PvP, comes the sense of improving almost the entire structure of a CWA-based clan to prepare for some situations such as disastrous rivalries and being spied on. PvP tends to be more liked by the people who endured the loss of the Old Wilderness, and those who seek 'loot' from kills. That's just my opinion. Truthfully, I believe if a clan really wishes to excel, they would push themselves in both CWA & PvP, not stick to either one as the main way to war. On personal notes, Solace balances out a healthy amount of CWA to PvP, but we tend to challenge ourselves in PvP and push ourselves quite frequently there. However, we also push ourselves to be better than most clans/teams in CWA. Team TKO Blitz has had amazing warring records in CWA and we always prove to be a force in CWA, but we are not intimidated by PvP offers and we can do just as much damage in PvP as we do in CWA. Then again, we are a team, and we have a mixture of people from top clans/middle-sized/lower-tiered clans. The difference between Solace and Team TKO Blitz is the latter is a team. Being a team, we have to come to an understanding that PvP is not something we focus on. There are some clans that remain in CWA and are content with what they do there, while some clans do both and either work on improving or are good in both. There is no reason why a clan 'must' do PvP, the question to do PvP is up to those in that clan.

The rivalry between Team TKO Blitz and Legends Never Die, was something noteworthy I must say lol. Shame to that the team has been closed though.
