  1. As the title clearly states, this is a discussion for minigames. It would be nice to see how many people complete these games/miniquests at least 10 times each. The minigames that I have completed at least 10 times(or parts of on-going minigames) are[inc. reasons]: Barrows - Just for some income Bar Crawl - An essential part for quests and agility Blast Furnace - Great for smithing Castle Wars - Generally one of the most fun Chompy Hunting - For fun here and there - bit of knowledge too Games Room - What to do when some of my friends set off to get there Ghostly Robes - Fun to wear, good for running around in to show off Gnome-Ball - Why not play this? Gnome Delivery - Great for travelling and rs retirees Jungle Clean-up - No idea why I did this, but it is extremely fun Kingdom Management - Part of a quest, extra bit of income/supplies Mage Arena(all 3 godspells activated and staves acquired) - A challenge and a goal to get all 3 staves/spells Mage Training - Fun when you have spare non-combat runes leftover Pest Control - Fun and great for teamwork Pet Care(Kitten to wily, fish) - Something to do in a bit of spare time Rogues' Den - Great fun when you want to be alone Shade Burning/Splitbark Armour - Good firemaking experience, good for teamwork Temple Trekking - Same as Rogues' Den Trawler - Similar reasons for Shades/Splitbark Treasure Trails(all 3 levels of course) - You really can't choose extactly the start or end, it just pops up, but fun nevertheless Trouble Brewing - Fun and good rewards for brewing Tzhaar(Pits and Caves - completed the caves in August successfully) - Similar reasons for Mage Arena Warriors' Guild - Rune defender, practice for TzTok Jad, fun when bored of course Well thats what I have to say about minigames. (Dont blame me, the tip-it times made me think more of minigames)
  2. My thought of why there are little Santa Hats now is that they are one of the favoured items to buy when people quit, and/or come back in an eventual time, where they might not. Account wiping rarely happens(ask me about the info I do have about the issue - ingame or pm), so the Santas still do exist, but are off the market, basically making it a higher demand, lower supply.
  3. I believe the idea and basis for the Hunter skill has been around since the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest. Why you may ask? Monkey Corpses. In a BTS or sometime around then, they did mention that you will be able to skin animals with the skill, the only animal I can think of would be monkies(poor them), snakes have already been introduced(the skinning ones are in Temple Trekking - the ones where you have to use a knife to get the skin), alligators and some more fowls may also be changed. The older p2p skills(Thieveing, Agility, Fletching - possibly Herblore) may all be used for requirements in the Hunter skill, thieveing for traps and tracking, agility to net and possibly scare, fletching for making traps and nets and possibly herblore to make a scent potion for a Venus Flytrap effect. If we are assigned creatures to follow/track/hunt, hopefully it will be a combination of the Draugen hunting, Chompy hunting and possibly involve a tag game(Wildy tag may be re-introduced). I am afraid that animal activists may go against the skill, but hopefully the animals aren't going to be killed in a gruesome enough way. That is what I will say for now[currently f2p as I have exams].
  4. So far, people have tried knives, daggers, shortswords, scimitars, longswords, battleaxes, whips, magic secatuers and a warspear? So would a normal pair of secateurs, a greataxe, throwing knives, throwing axes work? What about hatchets, a two-hander and claws? In a week, i'll be cuttin bananas with my whole range of weapons(inluding my Obsidian dagger[Legend's Quest item] and knife) and maybe a whole heap more of the quest related "sharpies". I just cant wait until we can skin monkies, the Karamjan kind.
  5. The max item/gp would be double as wouldn't it be possible to have the 2.14b banked and another on your person?
  6. From all the years I have been playing for(started on a different account) the Potion has never had a use. The liquid for Heroes is the Blamish Snail Oil, which is not connected to this item in any way as it's held in a sample bottle(looks like an empty dye bottle). For cleaning cloths, it's Karamjan Rum that is to be used with the silk. I would love to see someone with a few hundred K of these potions. (My next words are total fiction) Maybe it could be used as a doorstop like every useless item. Otherwise a Master Summoning/Hunter item to catch that pesky Evil Bob. :ohnoes:
  7. The Bomber Cap and Jacket(as well as the Cap and Goggles) do nothing as they are a decorative reward.
  8. Just to mention a few things: 1:Ardy teleport is useful during this quest. Why? - Farming store, Potato patch, Marketplace are all located in or near Ardougne 2:A thieveing level of 20 would be handy to steal silk. 3: Gnome Goggles and the reward Cap can be combined to one item if you have the items and ask Auguste. (Note: The 10kg was just from what I was holding when I took the picture - the item is practically weightless Note2: The specific item name is "Cap and goggles" - it's examine is "For better flying vision.")(posted this on the other thread)

  10. This actually has the highest probability. It would make sense to not upload them until the day, but as I mentioned before(page 4 I think) that the quasi-new prayers didn't have the conventional coding. It was /swizzle_sticks/moo_ before the image, but the chance of them not uploading until now would be not just plausible, but the truth. (Even a variation of the code containing other material Andrew/JAGeX would be interested/amused by didn't work)
  11. Has anyone even noticed how they hid the icons for the quasi-new prayers? There were prefix urls which made no real sense, and that's why no-one could find it the conventional way of changing one part. I would expect the icon to look like the one the person[cage-like](sorry - bad with names at this time of night). I'll try search around for the image using those codes, but I won't puch my luck.
  12. Hunting could just be like a catch-me-if-you-can type of skill. The only things I can think of that may be connected to this(apart from the release of squirrels and the such recently) is Sigli the Hunter in Relleka(99 Cape on him anytime soon?) and the possibility that we are assigned the creatures by certain npcs. A few other things came to mind, but I am too fatigued to jot them down here. I just hope it wont ruin how people react to things now.
  13. Alas! An article about the beggars of RS. Most of this is based around the instant gratification of basically all the ingame aspects people are wanting You could've also mentioned the Lumbridge guides for 'free' items, but overall the article was worth reading. Items are nothing unless you have put effort into getting them, and taking face value of everything and everyone is the worst way of perception. A mention of how utterly stupid the "Private Servers" are with the spawning of any item that would be wanted.(I may try pitch a few articles about these in the soon future). Thanks for the article Mr/Mrs Editor.
  14. Out of curiousity, when they mean no weapons and no armour against him, would magic attacks still count?
  15. Actually, look at the list for what the Armour Case can hold, it does say Void Knight, so I would guess to add any helmet?
  16. For a cape to be a trimmed version, you must have 2 skill maxed out, yet a quest cape wouldn't count would it? My main question is: Is the claimed +4 boost a boost to the stat itself, or as an Equipment Bonus? Third semi-question I would ask right now would be: If you reach 99 in 2 skills or more, and have a pre-existing cape, will it stay trimmed or will you have to buy a new one in trimmed form?
  17. Something animated would always be nice, apart from those darned monsters. The only animated decorations I can think of are the Fountains(Imp, Small, Large, Posh) and the Orreries and Globes, and as a side note, the Trophy Heads. Something animated would definitely draw me to my house if I started the Alchemists' path again, yet I doubt that would happen. Also, I was thinking, for the Wardrobes that are planned for this month, the word magic stood out, and I quickly thought of Magic Housing Crystals, and a thought that the wardrobes wouldn't be worth the money nor levels as it is about 80+ before you can start using it. As said just recently, something to store your minigame items and/or quest items would be nice, a simply modification to the storage on the Quest halls/Skill halls would do the trick, and something similiar to those cabinets we see in Varrock, Lumbridge and any other castle. Instead of making a new type of Garden, they could update it so you would built an inclosed area(like those Border-Stones for the Formal Garden) to plant with your own seeds, and have it operate the exact same way as all the other patches, although a hops patch may be a tad risky, and there may be difficulties with the trees(Fully Grown). If they can base it somewhat along these lines, i'll be happy enough, also having your servant to take care of the plants would be good, and paying in normal fees(not Farmers' Fees.)
  18. Just checked my POH shelve again, now it's a battered one, although I did have a slashed one in my inventory. Thread may be closed now.
  19. I have the Battered Book as my book variable, but I have completed the Elemental Workshop series to date, and the only books I can retrieve are Slashed Books, I send a report to JAGeX already, but is there any other way I can get the Battered Book for the list? (Yes, I did check both types of bookshelves, the Seer's Village ones and POH ones)
  20. With 65 agility it should be completeable, the only agility obstacle in the quest are hand-holds, i have 61 agility and *almost* passed them.
  21. If there was the possibility of a world 126 beforehand, the server would not have been up(I used the iframe html coding to attempt to open a world 126). If they did have access codes to it, there should've been a prompt, otherwise the va2 server would never have really been up for the while.
  22. Alas, finally someone else who believes that the quest rewards are for those who have really earned it. If I am online during the update, I start the quest A.S.A.P., but with my schedule I usually can't anymore. When the guide is released, I only look at the required items before anything else, just to see how much teleporting and walking I go through. The main feature of quests is the storyline, most people just go through a quest, following a guide letter for letter, click for click and eventually get to the end without a genuine thought of what they have been part of. The ONLY quest you need a guide for is Mourning's End Part2: Temple of Light, the maze is almost a killer apparently. If im stuck seriously too far on a quest, I refer to the guide quickly, and that's all.
  23. Once for each membership of the game(free and P2P). F2P: Just when my friend gave me a load of bronze arrows(at the Hobgoblin Peninsula) I was burying bones and the main computer was turned off(no router then) when I just received a zombie - I was almost outside the attacking range when i disconnected. Logged back in about 5 minutes later, only a few pieces of rune were kept[i had approx. 100k worth of stuff on me .] P2P: Recently on one of my boredom trips: I decided to train on those Ape Guards in Ape Atoll, connection severed mid-fight, about two minutes later, I logged back in, and for some strange reason, the ape guards were on their daily routine, I did not kill ANY of them, and I received minimal damage(this was only 3 weeks ago - We bought a router a few months before).
  24. There are no insults that come out of my name, but when people only connect it with their other screen life (some Disney show or whatnot) and laugh about it, I doubt they know what a raven really is. Apart from that(strangely enough, it happens only in F2P for me); I despise it when they: A: Don't spell raven properly, and B: Type 666 instead of 6666 - I am NOT religious whatsoever(That DOES NOT MEAN I AM AN ATHEIST- everyone has their own rights to believe in god/s).
