  1. fatigue was bad. Sure it was hard for a noob programmer to crack it with an autoer, but once it was cracked by some h4x00r (which it did), the code spreads all over the internet, and the game instantly becomes 100% vulnerable to autoers.
  2. The path to abysmalls is so long i dont think anyone in their right mind would wanna use wild pies to kill them. As for fishing, well if you just buy lobs, you would get food heaps faster, and unless you need for pk/barrows/kq etc, sharks arent much use. Farming pie on the other hand is awesome. Cider is too hard to make, and garden pie means that my farming can go up to 71! woot.
  3. that is truly the weirdest thing ive seen in rs next to the abyssal whip
  4. whoa shait, you could just be right. Remember in Desert treasure the blood diamond punk scratchs you for your blood and it deals damage to you? I think this could be similar!
  5. Trying to pj people when i got to 10 combat. I went straight north from fally and ended up dying and losing all my noob gear to a scorpion.
  6. turoths are ok with bones to peaches or guthan Metal dragons are annoying, all my metal dragon assignments get burthoped straight away.
  7. its great fun getting refunds when you have 30+ keys to open. You end up with a few extra keys for even more stones
  8. its not great without guthans, but with guthans its great fun. come back every so often for free 200 pray exp too lol.
  9. Most of the exp comes from cooking the tuna and corn, so this gives pretty much no exp at all. On top of that, you can accidentally eat everything (but the butter :S).
  10. I killed a lv 112 four times in veracs, I was lv 92. He used rune + whip, and I 7 hitted him 2 times in the 4 duels.
  11. it is bound to have a stupidly hardcore special or no one would use it. My guess, either cleave * 2, or 4 insta hits
  12. the topic says "Cooking EXP for tuna potatoes" But yeah your right, you run absolutely no risk of burning either corn nor tuna nor potatoes, so the sucess rate is 100%, assuming you dont eat any of your ingredients.
  13. Ok, ive cooked a few tuna potatoes for experimental purposes. Ive measured the before and after exp values for doing 14 of each of these things, then divided by 14. Milk -> Butter: 40.5 exp Cooking Tuna: 100 exp Cooking Corn: 103 exp Mixing Toppings: 0 exp Baking Potato: 15 exp Butter + Potato: 40 exp Toppings + Butter Potato: 10 exp ------------------ TOTAL: 308.5 exp each Note: - Churning butter from milk takes absolutely forever, and you cant even "churn x" - Milking Cows takes about 3 seconds each. - Comparing to the 210 exp each from sharks, no this is no way to powertrain cooking. Jagex obviously designed this purely as a source of 22 healing food. Just meh 2 cents, and no I didnt use the search button, as it keeps comming up with irrelevent hits.
  14. Exactly, they really cant care less about the iron scimmies and stuff, most of them expects you to simply hand them a santa hat or green mask because "plz man you only need 1"
  15. At 67 farming, using super compost, Id say the average is about 8. Sure you do get insane amounts of herbs in some patches, but that balances up with your herbs dying every so often. And no I never use nature ammy or "check on" my plants to see if they're diseased. Tough love its called.
  16. if jagex REALLY needed money they would just make a lv 3, fill it up with p hats and sell on ebay lol
  17. haha I found this funny, I mean I saw a rs phat for for $300 USD the other day, the people who search up "party hat runescape" must get quite a scare when they see a listing on 99 cents.
  18. When you come down to it, its all about making more than other forms of money making, such as runecrafting (400k an hour) and green dragon killing (400k an hour) Considering that most players who make these would have the option to runecraft or kill dragons for money, it comes down to one question: can you make 400k an hour baking potatoes? Ofcourse people will be willing to sacrifice some profit for exp, or ease of money making. Eg, shark fishing might be incredibly bad for money, but they are quite easy to get, simply by afking on the fishing spot and checking every so often, as opposed to runecrafting, where you have to be 100% concentrated and look out for pesky pkers at all times.
  19. I get about 2m a week from farming lol. Useless: riiight
  20. Bone spear hands down, the single most noobest weapon in rs.
  21. EXACTLY. Cooking corn alone gives enough exp to match lobs. Every little bit of cooking the tuna corn potato gives great exp. Very good option for free exp, when raw sharks are generally more expensive in bulk than cooked.
  22. desert treasure is NOT IMPOSSIBLY hard. If lvl 70 pures with no prayer and 1 def can do it, its pretty hard for a lvl 86 who know what hes doing not to complete the quest. On the other hand, RS should be a bit more like WoW here, having a few quests that lvl 100 will have trouble doing. The best weapon in WoW etc are all quest items and i guess RS tried to copy that with crystal equipment. However making a hard hard quest would make owning the equipment a priviledge, rather than a right, and make the equipment that little bit more special. Im sure rs can have a few items that are better than whips, but can only be gotten from hardout quests, takes 80 att to wield, but does not give exp when fighting.
  23. If you are willing to pay the cash, guthan gives carefree, complete afk training experience. Bones to peaches does not. Simple as that.
  24. I l3ik to drain peopl3's agility and st0f, coz once they dun have agility they l3ik cant run and st0f. Guthan is actually fairly bad, the set effect doesnt always work, and if you are counting on the set effect to train on high lv monsters, you can get quite badly owned if the purple smoke doesnt pop up. My fav is veracs.
