Nice to see you around Andrew, also nice to hear you reiterate the points that I believed all along, I am disgusted at this article and the way it was allowed to be published as a one sided arguement without any facts, especially on a popular fansite such as tip.it. You should take legal action, if it was a newspaper you would, isn't this article all about jagex being biased? Time to show your unbiased atitude by treating this player the same as any other person that published this.

Jealous? I can make sigs perfectly fine :P I just prefer to play the game the way its supposed to be, earn my money through ingame skills.

Never before have the rules specifically stated sig selling to be illegal however, and thats what sig sellers were using to prove that it wasn't. Now it does and i bet they'll still come up for another excuse for their cheating, and yes thats exactly what it is, within the game.

That is off the official Runescape website, the confusion was caused before because the only clarification was via queries, which gave different answers. This is one answer, clearly shown, if Tip.it supports Jagex rules as much as they say they do then they will support this one equally.

WoW has like a 100 page guide with the game, far more detailed than runescapes newest manual, yet they still have many fansites. Its just an alternative resource for help, that jagex want to provide because they can control it and ensure players safety that uses it.

If you don't play then why reply? This is for those people that are unknowingly putting their accounts at risk.

The rule will obviously apply to money as well. I think this pretty much tears down any argument that sig selling is legal now.

There is an old saying...if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. Begging is a part of role playing games, it always will be, we can't change that but we can change the way people beg to make it a more worthwhile effort. If someone begs you ask them to perform a task for you or to tell a joke or a story, make them almost street entertainers, they have to earn the right to your hard-earned cash. There is another old saying "give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime" If someone is obviously new and is begging for money then tell them a few good ways to make money, possibly point them in the direction of the nearest trees or mines so they can put their tutorial island tools to good use.

another good one was when i was selling 1k rune ess for 20k....the person scitched the 20k for 200k and accepted..... has anyone else ran into a backfireing scam attemp? this has to be the worse useless rant of spam i have ever seen. His backfire story is so nooby it doesnt even make sense. How do you conclude that it backfire? the whole dialog is so undergraduate its just omg say no more noob story. Scamming is a big problem in Runescape, this post is to show how the scamming can backfire and bite the scammer in the butt. I found the stories to be amusing and a worthy read. Correction, to play the developing video games back then, not now. Everyone has the same rights, what you said is almost as bad as younger people saying they have more right because they are younger. Oh come off it, the earlier games hardly needed a walkthrough, as soon as master system and megadrive came out with tougher games walkthroughs appeared. How can you have any more experience in a new game, come straight onto the market than the children that started at exactly the same time as you? that doesn't even make sense, its obvious a player that has played a game longer has more experience even if a new player comes along that is of a more mature age. No-one really cares about past games though, this post is talking about runescape, not a past game. If you really want the younger generation to respect you then stop going off about how you are so much better than them, for example like you just have now. Its people like you that give mature people a bad name and cause the ageism that exists in game atm. If everyone treated everyone the same then there wouldn't be a problem, the fact is we are all players of the game, reguardless of age, the only experience that matters in runescape is the experience from playing the game, not from some pacman games 20 years ago.

There should be a rs goverment tax on everything you earn, thus preventing people from reaching the gp cap, problem solved. They won't increase it because they don't want banks to take up more memory, they never intended people to get rich off an item they addded to the game for fun, simple as.

stats do not get wiped unless you have played on the character for less than 24 hours total and it has been inactive since then, they especially would not stat wipe a previous paying member. My guess is they got banned for something, maybe even a security risk? it could just be temp disabled because someone has tried to hack it.

I'm 20 whixh is quite mature on the runescape scale of things I guess.....but I say you're only as old as you want to be :P

as far as I'm aware the only thing that could make it smaller like that is via resolutions, are you sure you are changing them? it should get bigger and smaller as you change it at least....

Jagex have an item tracking system, you think an account with hardly any money making stats and a load of gp isn't going to get them to check exactly where those items have come from and check those accounts against your ip? you drop trade and you will get caught, and when you get banned I'll laugh at you, possibly even point and laugh for further emphasis of your noobishness.
