Let's clarify a few things :) - Mea culpa!
I'm really surprised that anyone's opinion on him would be changed at all. I don't see how he was 'deceiving' anyone of anything. What he did was on the side, and the way he presented himself was as a rolemodel. Him coming out and telling the truth now is really honorable. We were surprised that people found out this soon, but he could have easily just played innocent and people would have believed it. In no way was he 'abusing' any 'position' at all. What he did he kept hidden, which had no connection with the actual game and these forums as a rolemodel. Way to generalize a person by one action Bubsa. There is nothing honourable in admitting your crime once it has been commited, this is mostly done to attract sympathy off the readers, which is obviously working. To be honourable would be to have owned up straight after the deed, but he didn't hoping he wouldn't get caught, thats not honourable, thats cowardice. Presentations are nothing, its whats inside that counts, he broke one of the runescape rules that has no grey areas, you simply cannot trade rs items for any items outside of game. To do this as a player mod and as a tip.it forum mod shows disrespect to both parties, especially if the people he traded with knew he was in these positions. If he broke one rule so easily whats to say he didn't lie about breaking the others? How can you say that what he did had no connection with the game? Every time someone sells gp for real life items it means someone that would not have been able to aquire that gp otherwise has, and they will use it most likely to gain skills or afford items they shouldn't have, thus affecting all of us. Just a shame jagex didn't catch him til so late, when damage was already done.

Let's clarify a few things :) - Mea culpa!
You have lost any respect I once had for you, you broke the rules and deserve any punishment that jagex gives to you. Your excuses don't wash with me, I am a student myself so I am at college 5 days a week and I work for the other 2 days, yeah thats right I don't get a break at all, but this is the price I have to pay for good education. If you spent half the time doing work instead of playing runescape then you would have been able to afford college without stooping down to sit next to some of the lowest scum of Runescape. Goodbye.

P Mods: Get Exp While Getting Rid of Yew Bots!
Yes you can. Not all macroers are using the same program. Perhaps they developed their own and did not include the "See a crown, log off" clause in it. Jagex cannot have their player mods who are indeed supposed to play as normal just mill about there because that's a temporary solution. We need something more permanent, dare I say it? Pure Yews? Something similar to that that will defer people from using bots to chop wood. Many suggested that autoers be stopped right after the Pure Ess bit that every time you click on the tree you have to solve a sort of puzzle or do a bank pin with a certain number. That would destroy power cutting/mining but it would work, that is until they figured out a way around it. I remember hearing a quote from somewhere that stated whenever Jagex releases some new deterent for Autoers, just wait a while and they've already beaten it (or something to that extent). sorry it was late when I typed that, I meant you can't high alch yew longs, and theres not much else worth alching in runescape anymore, save smithed items.

Last Days of a Runescape Player
If you were banned from macroing they normally have concrete proof before banning for that, for example the detection system picked you up or something you said in game suggested that you may be using a macroer. Do you use any 3rd party clients to play runescape? Keep appealing and asking for evidence.

P Mods: Get Exp While Getting Rid of Yew Bots!
You can't high alch on f2p servers, player mods are asked not to go deliberatly hunting out rule breakers, they are to play the game as normally as possible.

One mans journey to reduce autoers! rawr
You do realise that makes no sense at all? No autoers will be banned unless jagex "comes" and bans them or comes up with a way to stop the autoing programs working, you think you reporting them makes them magically dissapear instantaneously? Have fun woodcutting with the autoers.

One mans journey to reduce autoers! rawr
soz m8 dont understand  the fact is whe need to get rid of these autoers , jagex needs to ip ban  Ip bans do not work, most computers have a dynamic ip, I can change mine whenever I want, also if you played at say a school and someone broke a rule every single person in that school would be unable to play. "whe" can't get rid of the autoers, jagex can, but by these report parades you are doing nothing but slowing them down. I'm sure they are working on a solution, you just have to be patient and stop spamming them with reports.

They are not rumours, i know many jagex personally, I even got a global mod of these forums in touch with one and they can confirm what I am saying is true.

Reporting them like this will do no good as there is a seperate macro detection system, you're just wasting your own time. Also why post pictures and make a whole new thread about it, trying to look the hero? its not working.

i've met the famous limparse!!!

OMG!!! RSO Forums
I disagree to some extent. Jagex been going longer than these forums in the making. They i guess intitled to a few small mistakes. NOT all bugs and glitches can be caught before release, compilers etc that i use for a online game i work for , doesn't always show up everything before a release and some bugs simply don't show until the script is active in game. Bad planning? I think not at all from them. Nor do i feel they have to explain what went wrong. I think personally alot of users here are making a mountain out of a mole hill here over what happened. We all make mistakes and we only human! They are still i feel the most secure forums you can use. As a reminder to all, you welcome to talk about what happened within reason, but please do not show any screenshots from Jagex boards showing what happened You have a point, and I hate to argue with you Lightning, but if they had a finalized version of in game updates and actually play them through, there probably would be half as many problems as there are. Its just like testing games for Playstation or any computer game. I'm not suggesting they don't test at all... but they need to be doing it on a larger scale. Having one person test isn't going to work obviously. You get what is to be believed a final version (a beta if you will...). Then they test it and supply the developers with the bugs. Obviously some bugs will still be in, but not near as many as what Runescape gets. And the Pest Control deal was just horrible... And the scary thing is that they probably aren't done changing the game around. Whether the RSO forums are most secure... thats not really up for debate in my opinion.I'm sure there are more exploits that no one even knows about. And when someone gets mad at Jagex for making "bad" decisions... They'll seek out those exploits and use them again. As far as making a mountain out of a mole hill... Any form of security breech should be a cause for concern... or in this case a good ol' fashion roast. Actually the new forums were tested by the forum mods, so thats what, 50+ testing them? They were also run past the QA team as well. Ingame updates are thoroughly tested by QA but they simply do not have the amount of staff that can be matched to the players ingame, so some bugs slip through. The rs forums are far more secure than most forums you will visit, every forum has problems, deal with it. You just seem to like arguing really.

How can you have a hamster/mouse/rat/whatever you have in that cage in your room?? Doesn't it make a hell lot of noise when you sleep?! I have a mouse downstairs, and I can hear it eat and stuff when I'm upstairs. Hamster, hes called Mojo. I can't sleep when its too quiet, so he helps a lot, my pc is also on 24/7 with nice little mIRC sounds going on in the background and 5 fans keeping it cool :) The spam I have no idea, and yes it is scampi

Drop Trading
Any way you do it jagex can and do trace items between accounts, if they spot a suspicious one sided trade then they will investigate both accounts, if the account that recived the items has poor money making skills or is an obvious pure then jagex will trace the items back along the trades to see where they came from. Don't break the rules, its not worth your accounts.

Jadex, I shake my head at you
The change is good, are you saying you liked the fact there were autoers just because it helped you?

- April 18, 2006--Pest Control
They can do minor updates without taking the game offline, it stops people complaining about downtime. The exp and gp was too much in too little time, the fix has solved that problem.- Annoying Bug at Pest Control
just take it off?- RS and Sun Java? - With the all fabeled dragon kite.
Jagex have their own test servers with many wierd weapons and armour that will never be released into game, its probably taken from one of them.- banning
You can't report people for saying noob, and telling him you reported him is just asking for trouble. - April 18, 2006--Pest Control
