I've been using gamemaker for years. 3D gameplay is possible, and with dll's you can make online play. My friend who also uses Gamemaker is working on an online fps that is not unlike quake.

My friend loves snakes. He lives near a large park, and I've gone snake hunting with him a few times, but usually we just find Alligator lizards and blue bellied lizards. Every memorial day he goes to a memorial day rodeo, and spends hours looking for snakes in the area around the rodeo. This memorial day, he found a dead snake and skinned it. Now he has three snake skins: Two from bull snakes, and one from a gopher snake which is almost the same as a bull snake.

What time did you get? Whatever it was, it is way better than my best mile, 6:36. Even with that time, (which is pretty bad in my opinion) I still manage to make the top 10% at my school. Also, I know that feeling you describe. I used to feel it a lot, especially on the 4th lap when my friends are screaming at me to sprint, but now I get my times fairly easily.
