    GameMaker

I've been using gamemaker for years. 3D gameplay is possible, and with dll's you can make online play. My friend who also uses Gamemaker is working on an online fps that is not unlike quake.
  4. UCSD is the University of California San Diego, I believe. It probably is a good college.
  5. I remember playing "Castle," a DOS game, and I hate how the manual said "Make sure to 'look' at everything in each room, i.e. 'look table' or 'look bed,' " but whenever I 'looked' it said 'I don't know how to do that.'
  6. http://www.foodrevolution.org/slavery_chocolate.htm Slavery did not end in 1865. There are still many slaves, illegally, of course. But who could have thought that such an innocent thing as a chocolate candy bar was most likely made by slavery? Discuss.
  7. The gingerbread man would just break off Pinnochio's nose and hit him with it. Who would win- Gandhi or Hitler?
  8. Because you forgot to ask a question.... Which would win in a fight, a ninja monkey, or an elephant?
  9. This game is called Which would win in a fight? To play, the first person asks a question with this format: "Which (or "Who") would win in a fight, (a) or (B)?" Ex. "Which would win in a fight, an alligator or a shark?" Then the next poster answers the question with his/her opinion, and asks their own question. If they want to, they can explain their opinion, but they don't have to. Ex.2 "I think an alligator would win the fight because it can swim OR walk on ground. Who would win in a fight, Masterchief or Chuck Norris? " Ok, so here's the first question. Which would win in a fight, an ostrich or a llama?
  10. errdoth (and his dog is sooo cute )
  11. My friend loves snakes. He lives near a large park, and I've gone snake hunting with him a few times, but usually we just find Alligator lizards and blue bellied lizards. Every memorial day he goes to a memorial day rodeo, and spends hours looking for snakes in the area around the rodeo. This memorial day, he found a dead snake and skinned it. Now he has three snake skins: Two from bull snakes, and one from a gopher snake which is almost the same as a bull snake.
  12. Ummm.....maybe you fell asleep at your computer, and made tea while sleepwalking.
  13. What time did you get? Whatever it was, it is way better than my best mile, 6:36. Even with that time, (which is pretty bad in my opinion) I still manage to make the top 10% at my school. Also, I know that feeling you describe. I used to feel it a lot, especially on the 4th lap when my friends are screaming at me to sprint, but now I get my times fairly easily.
  14. Me too. it always comes out "wuote"
  15. I'll check these ones, they look like they are most likely correct A square has a side of 5 feet. How much should each of its sides be increased in order to double its area? Start off: The 5x5 square has an area of 25. x+5=sq.root 50 x+5=5(sq.root 2) x=5(sq. root 2)-5 x=(+-)7.071-5 x=2.071 _________________ Mary left home at 12 noon adn drove to visit her mom who lives 20 miles away. After she arrived she stayed for 2 hours. Afterwards she drove to her freind Sue's house who lives 15 miles from her mom. She arrived at Sue's at 3 o'clock. If her speed heading for Sue's was 5 mph faster than her speed going to her mom's, find her average speed on her way to Sue's. speed to Sue's=x speed to mom's=x-5 total hours spent driving=1 total distance=35 x+(x-5)=35 2x=30 x=15 _____________________ Yes, it looks like those two are right.
  16. nope, that was on my birthday (nov 3 1992)
  17. I believe you set it up the right way, but you forgot to make x^2 negative at this step 12x+4= x^2 -9 x^2 +12x+4 = -9 So let me rework it here: 12/(x+3) + 15/(x-3) = 9/4 48(x-3) + 60(x+3) = 9(x+3)(x-3) 48x-144+60x+180= 9x^2 -81 (108x+36= 9x^2 -81)/9 12x+4= x^2 -9 - x^2 +12x+4 = -9 x^2-12x-4=9 x^2-12x=13 x^2-12x+36=49 (x-6)^2=49 x-6=(+-)sq.root 49 x-6=(+-)7 x=13
  18. I'm pretty sure that you did, but that doesn't mean you didn't make a grammar mistake. You said which is not correct grammar. You should have said Remember, right is an adjective, at least the way you are using it, and correctly is an adverb. :P
  19. My point exactly. English is extremely confusing, heck, it seems half the kids at my school can't speak it correctly.
  20. No. If English had all those, then it would be extremely hard to learn. It already isn't the easiest language to master...
  21. I use an anti-TheBlazikenMaster laser on you and you fall to the floor. I grab the phat out of your hands
