They're one handed so you can wield something else (like an Unholy Book) to add more range attack. Plus I think they're actually thrown a little faster.

1-78 slayer = 1,629,200 90-99 slayer = 7,688,099 To me, I think nearly 8m xp without a new monster to kill is outrageous. I calculated it, and 58% of slayer is spent without a single new thing to do. People with 90+ slayer make much more profit than people with 78. I agree that it's outrageous but you don't have to automatically bash this monster just because it's 78 slayer. As I said, there may be other requirements to kill it. You know nothing about this monster but the level requirement and what it looks like. That's not nearly enough information to judge it. Oh and you get something new to do every time you get a new task ;)

This is the most pessimistic thread I've ever seen. What if it turns out this monster is only unlocked after a very difficult quest? Or maybe the drop actually is *gasp* USEFUL! Also, 78 slayer is definitely harder than people on this thread are making it out to be. While I understand that for people who are in the 90s, one level takes a very long time, that doesn't diminish the time it takes to get from 1-78 slayer. Personally, I'll wait until the monster is actually released before I judge it and I definitely won't complain about it before it's even out.

That's how I felt. I first heard about the album when I watched the music video for their "Do you know the enemy" or whatever it's called, and from just that song I knew it was not going to be a very good album. That song was not good IMO. Know Your Enemy is probably one of the worst on the track. It's way too simple (I think there's like 3 notes in the entire song?). Don't judge the album just on that song.

Something is wrong with the drummer.

I have to admit that at first I was a little dissapointed. But after giving it a chance and listening to it some more, it has good lyrics and it's much deeper than American Idiot (imo). Also a lot slower. 21 Guns and 21st Century Breakdown are my faves atm \

No, I don't tell people but if I know somebody plays I will talk with them about it. I had a few friends who played back in junior high and we talked about it a lot but now I don't even mention it irl. Owned :lol:

I see what you did there. But yes, I am in complete agreement that I would only classify a monster as a "boss" if they meet all 5 requirements as you have laid out. Which means that Tormented Demons and Mithril Dragons do not fall into the "boss monster" category. Beat me to it D:

You guys are putting too much thought into this. It's obvious that some games are considered "cooler" than others by the majority of the population and anybody will (or should) agree that Runescape isn't one of them. You don't need to go any deeper than that :|
