Moderator Application Discussion Thread - Check your Inboxes
That's a very good point. We cannot read every topic and every reply to a topic. We rely our you tipiters to hit the report button when you see someone trying to scam passwords, selling RS Gold, posting inproper images or words and other offenses. You are already part of the staff when you do that. And it's a good way to get noticed. 8-)

Staff evaluations.

HOLY [cabbage] THIS CAN'T BE GOOD!
Anti-Virus programs do not eliminate spyware. They kill viruses and trojans. You need to have both Anti-virus software and run Ad-Aware once in a while. I run it daily when I boot up. Cookies are usually harmless. I believe tip.it probably uses them to store your password so you don't have to log in every time you want to browse the forums. Don't delete the cookies but every thing else Ad_Aware tells you to.

HOLY [cabbage] THIS CAN'T BE GOOD!
Is this the first time you've used Ad-Aware or any other spyware detector? If so that could explain it. I run Ad-Aware daily and the most I've ever seen is maybe 7 tracking cookies.

Injustice in Jena / Jena 6 / Blatant Racism! (long read)
What does this have to do with Runescape? Nothing. As long as these type of discussions are allowed here in the off-topic forum, where's the author's or your outrage about this. African Slavery and Its Denial by Blacks by Salim Muwakkil Does slavery still exist in Africa? That question was rudely inserted into the national conversation last month when a ship from the West African nation of Benin reportedly was lost while ferrying child slaves. Although that story turned out to be overblown, it helped pull the cover off one of Africa's dirtiest secrets: slavery persists. According to UNICEF estimates, there are 200,000 child slaves in West and Central Africa. Most of those forced into involuntary servitude are in economic bondage, with the boys being sold to cotton and cocoa plantations and the girls ending up as domestic workers and vulnerable to sexual exploitation...

RUNESCAPE ISSUES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PLEAS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One thing you could try is to download the official Windows client only from Runescape.com. If that does or doesn't work that will tell us something.

Is Tip.it harder to quit than Runescape itself?
You make a good point. I know a few members that don't play Runescape anymore but still come here for the discussions. I myself don't play as much as I used to but I plan to be here on the forums for a long time.

Best place for crystal bow training ?
I found it most effective to train at the Red Dragons in Brimhaven dungeon. Selling the red hides I could even make a little cash after recharging the bow. I got 99 range there. I had two bows so I wouldn't have to keep running to Elf land so often. There's a rock pile in the center of that area that can be used as a safe spot although you'll need to wear an anti-fire shield while you pick up the drops. Here's a pic: http://mcguff1.googlepages.com/99Range.jpg

omg new clue???
You just dig where the sapphire spawn is. Wizard will not attack because it is not a co-ordinate type clue.

D slayer surprisingly low lvl. */10?
That's good for a meleer but I've seen someone post a pure F2P mage doing it at 15 or 19 combat going in. I tried it myself just for fun and did it at 25 I believe. There were safe spots there.

scam private message
This scammer has already been banned but not before he sent out some of the PMs. A good rule of thumb is that anyone posting something about RS3 or betas or a website that ends in [LikelyScam] is a scammer.

I want to die
I'm going to be locking this topic. The staff of tip.it forums has previously made a decision that this is not the place to be giving or getting medical or psychologist advice. Instead please consult a school, church or local government counselor and hopefully they will be able to help you. We wish you the best of luck resolving your problems.

Letting it stay here because it's turned into a pretty good discussion.

Is Jagex taking the piss?
It is not uncommon for a automated response to be sent when you report something. It is telling you that they received your report. The part, Tells me that they are processing your individual report. This forum is not a place to bash Jagex. If this continues this topic will be locked.

Never go to a site that claims it's Runescape 3 related. They are all password scam sites. Jagex would make an announcement if it were to happen but I wouldn't count on it. - Level 3 Clue Help!
