  1. If you loose your gauntlets, go speak to Dimintheis (inside the gate) who is found south east of varrock east bank. If you want to change your cooking gauntlets to goldsmith ones you need to speak with Avan who is located in the chasm mine north east of Al Kharid gate. He will charge you around 25k to change the gloves from cooking to goldsmith gaunts though.
  2. Im pretty sure you need at least 60 in a skill to be ranked on the highscore.

Tip.It have a nice guide set up for metal dragon killers: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=metal_dragons.htm :)
  4. He's right, I can confirm. He?!?!? Last I heard, Sunli is a SHE... ~Mr. D. V. Devnull Thanks dear :
  5. I must disagree with you. The combat triangle; magers, rangers and meleers is a concept made by the game-developers. As another user here already mentioned, this is what Jagex them self says how you should plan your tactics when ranging or maging:
  6. If you superheat you will have 100 % of successing on smelting all your ores. Its not like with a furnace. And you get mage exp too :)

Ah! You need Luciens pendant to move inside the dungeon, and perhaps a lightsource? I dont remember really, its been a long time since I did that quest.

You need to pay Winelda 20 limpwurt roots so she take you over the fire. When you over the firepit, search for a key that spawns around there somewhere. That is a key for the shortcut door.

In the Tip.It Item and Bestiary database you can find all sort of usefull information: Armadyl Pendant :)
  10. Thats correct  :)
  11. Do some comparison your self and see what suits you the best, and what goes best with your fighting style/economic: Armadyl godsword Bandos godsword Saradomin Godsword Zamorak Godsword Current Prices on the Grand Exchange: http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/results. ... l&members=
  12. Heres some info from the Item Database: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?rs2item_id=6599
  13. When you bless a players grave or in this quest; the souls, your prayer is drained. But theres an altar in the third cave which you can use. If you need a break you can run out of the third cave into the second one while you eat or restore run energy.
  14. Are you planning on using gilded altar for prayer training? Is that why you ask? If so: I used my house for that, but I used duel rings for tele to cw bank then home tabs. Then I had a friend who did some boring high alchs anyway to stay in my house with marrentils and tinderbox and lit the burners while i teled back and forth between bank and house.
  15. Hmm, please logg in and see what your quest diary says you need to do next and also what was your last step which should now be crossed over, and then post it here. That will make it easier for me to see if you forgot to do a step in the quest. :-k
  16. Sunli replied to albal1234's topic in Help and Advice
well, I can tell you how long it took for me to get one: I killed more then (a combination of) 8k irons, steels, blacks and miths before I got my first -.-
  17. Make sure you read your quest-diary carefully to make sure you haven't skipped a important step during the quest! Thats usually the reason you cant complete the next step.
  18. If you can afford this set-up, heres what I would bring: Protect from melee since they hit harder with melee then with magic. Top + Bottom karil (gives better magic defence then ahrim) - or you can wear another outfit that gives protection against magic attacks - like mage robes or d'hide. Infinite booties Slayer mask/black mask if you have one Antifire shield of course! Fury ammy and barrow gloves Quick tele 10 - 13 sara brews (4) 10 - 13 super restores (4) 1 Antifire pot (4) No need to bring super pots since you will be drinking sara brews when you need to heal and that will only lower your attack and strength anyway - followed up with super restore to heal prayer and restore stats. Instead have either Piety or Ultimate Strength and Incredible Reflexes on. Might be usefull to bring a healer (bunyip or unicorn) too, just remember that you cant summoning it untill you are well within the dungeon.
  19. Which is sad, this is a discussion thread about content...Not the authors writing style. Some are to dense to understand that -.- There will always be people who so desperately wants attention that they jump on any occasion to criticise an article or a post so they can emphasize how smart and clever they are. Well they have the abilities and skills to recognize good spelling and grammar dont they? Lenin expressed my thoughts about that nicely: But lets not forget why we are here: I also liked the article very much - mostly because I often use safespots when ranging, and like Turtle, I also need places for my litle neeb to train safely. I must say, I like the way Jagex sometimes remove safespots and make new ones that we have to find our selfs. The game should be challenging and new! Safespots at waterfiends, at demons or at dragons; I love testing out where my neeblet can stand next time she has the urge to range or mage! Some hate safespots and call them cowards hide-aways, I like to call them good strategy :
  20. Visit the Tech & Computer forum for more help in making sure your computer is clean from possible infections by a keylogger.
  21. No, Jagex doesnt make it easy for us paying customer to get in touch with them do they? My best advice would be to click on the link "Click here to log into the Password Recovery system". You will get a log-in screen where to put in username and password, which will lead you to a message box. Write in your request and concerns about loosing your acount to the thief again, there. Tell them you been in contact with the company you paid the membership via and that they will provide with necessary proof of the true ownership of the account in question. Remember to attach an e-mail address where they can reach you.
  22. Your friend need to get in contact with the company he paid the membership via; VIsa, PayPal or what company it was, and make sure they send the payment proof to Jagex, verifying your friends name and who is the true owner of the account. Then he should send in a customer support about his problems attaching his payment receipts. But before I did all that I would do what the poster above me adviced; scan for keyloggers and or malicious malware on the computer. Make sure the computer is spit clean before doing anything else on that machine. If your friends computer is infected he will never be able to recover his account 100%. Visit the Tech & Computer forum for more help in this matter. edit for typos
  23. Let me snip and glue what the quest database says from step 4: Are you wearing a black cape? If you have missed a step in the quest you cant continue, so make sure you have done everything asked of you.
