Yea, i would totally get this game. Apparently it was on of the best at the e3. And i would agree with you, that the modern setting is a breath of relief. We played ww2 so many times...The Nazis could be considered an endangered species. The graphics aren't half bad either, but what i want is to invade somewhere else other than Normandy. The game looks like it kept the CoD gameplay, just in a different setting. Thats a touch of perfect.

Technically this could be a part of the "best game ever thread", but whatever. I would say halo, but it isn't complete yet (halo 3). I think the series that showed the most improvement would be Burnout. From Burnout 1 to Burnout Revenge, they never failed to disappoint, always evolving the gameplay. Then it would be Metroid and Zelda. Honestly, the Zelda series is undoubtedly the greatest, or at least one of the greatest game series of all time. But i like sci-fi better, so i would tie it with Metroid.

The stories are often uninspired. True, there are the rather interesting stories, but eventually even the most staunch readers will find tales of knights, mages, dragons and history boring after a while. And to make it worse, they aren't official, so there isn't any real need to read it. It's all just fan-fiction. That being said, i do read some stories once in a while, they're not too bad.

Jordan 23's, they look sweet but don't feel so great. Maybe i bought a size too small. :-k Nike Air Monarch III. They look nice, and are positively HUGE. When i first bought it, it fit me perfectly and yet looked like clown shoes. Luckily i grew taller and beefier. Actually not sure, but i think it means that some people are born with a tendency to suicide, nothing has to be done to stop them. It is meant to be a half jokey question. I guess the more you agree with this one, the more fascist you are. Why do so many people not like this test? I thought it was rather amusing, and quite accurate (3.9333.... here). It doesn't take in a lot of factors, but being the American democrafile myself, it seems to have been perfect for me. Interestingly, the more extreme the people's comments where, the less they liked the test (those who got the "liberal airhead" and "use your left hand/lint your black shirts" comments, that is).

My own most-scary game would be F.E.A.R. That little girl-ghost is terrifying, especially in a dark tunnel, and at the top of ladders, and right behind you (places to look). Unfortunately I only played the demo, so I dunno if the whole game is that scary.

Seconding that one lol. It was more of a "HOLY [cabbage] LOOK OUT" moment while me and my little brother fell down laughing. Yeah, i tried chainsawing it. Turns out women don't like chainsaws (they're female). The second berserker is worse. Third one will be a joke, you should be used to them.

It would be fine for dragon axes to be invincible, as long as they have some other required skill other than woodcutting. Possibly a strength requirement of 40 or so. I'm sure goldfarmers and autoers would be hard pressed to train their accounts. And it wouldn't hurt for skillers to use rune axes anyway.

Similar thing happened to me, on a smaller scale, but the same results. I have faith in folks too, the RS community isn't in total decline. But not too much, keep an eye on your cash... :mrgreen:

Movement normally includes jumping. A good example would be the prince of persia series. Well, not the best definition, since any 3rd person shooter would qualify in your criteria. On a related note, if in fact through some unlikely chance that a volcano existed (or a supervolcano...), it would result in the instantaneous destruction of the universe, and all in it. Except for cockroaches of course.

To the poster above, remember that the "best wearable item" is TOTALLY opinion based. To the dude who said santa hat, it would be the best item for him. And honestly, gp, phats, christmas crackers, or whatever items aren't necessarily the best item. I mean, would you rather have a phat or say, a whip in a fight to the death (winner takes all) in the wilderness? You can't say "fear me, i have the best item in the game, the terrifying blue phat!" and expect to stay alive much longer.

I'm constantly training exp, with whatever little profit i can get out of it. To date i have NEVER spent money on skills. It's better to spend money to make more money, than to spend money to increase skills. There is always a method that doesn't require you to spend too much (or usually any) cash when training, and thats the route i usually take.
