Congrats, I'm currently pretty addicted to slayer, and wyverns are a ton of fun.

Essentially it comes down to self confidence about your real life, or the lack there of. Many people who play this game (if you read the other thread about lying to people or being honest about if you play the game or not, you'll see what I mean) simply don't have the confidence or don't think their friends will still like them if they admitted they played. It's sad, but hopefully it goes away with time. Personally I hit on a girl the other night with Runescape. That's right. \

Well, all I will say is this. I remember when Coinshare came out, before that time and right after it all of the supplies for those things had gone up, tremendously. Only a small portion of the game needed those resources. Go look at how many people PvP and you can kind of forsee how the prices are going to go pretty soon. I think I might buy myself 50 dhides, some rune, some neitz helms and other stuff. We'll see.

I wish they made it so that your current characters can't be transferred to the new worlds. Everyone had to start new characters and live in this fierce kill or be killed world to train up their skills and characters. Doubt it'll happen, but it'd be pretty sweet. Only way to get GWD items is to do GWD while fighting other people and stuff. Haha. It'd really make having and earning certain items really impressive. It'd be like us starting over, but only temporary, and with the knowledge we all have.

This is why people dislike you, just in case you were curious. So many people have wanted this idea for so long, come on man.

I sure hope they make summoning available in a huge portion of the worlds rather than only a small part. We're level 126-138 for a reason, no?

That's the threat of the wilderness that people have wanted. I'm sure they'll warn people when entering the world that those are the risks. Nevermind, I see what you're saying - basically a way to transfer items.

To all of the people who stuck with Jagex and Runescape after the Dec 10th updates crushed their entire playstyle, and LISTENED to those who said "have faith, Jagex will fix it" and found new ways to enjoy the game (at least temporarily?) and all of that stuff; here is your reward.

No more just saying "well... we have bounty hunter?" Even if you don't care for PvPing in RS (like myself) you should definitely recognize how good this is for a lot of people. Plus, it might bring people (like myself) into PvPing...

I'm quite impressed. I haven't done much PvPing in this game, but this seems pretty promising. On the bad side, welcome back you pures... And it looks like all of those "quest storyline spoiler posibility" threads and ideas are probably correct, too. A bigger quest than RFD? Imagine the reward... Wow, good job Jagex.

Wow, actually seems pretty handy. (I'll be honest, I didn't expect much, I'm not much of an add on guy.) Congrats on getting it finished, I can see by the date of that message from the Mod that it's been in the works for a little while. P.S. I love the thing from Jagex, basically "Yeah your program is fine with us... but yeah we can't endorse it! Good luck!"

Okay: THAT is the definition of being a [bleep]. Even if you're trying to "help them" and "teach them" something. Nope, I didn't. Put a couple more question marks on there and I might think of that faster next time. Obviously the defense bonuses are fine. If you really want the defenses (yes, without the prayer if you're trimmed) then grab an obsidian cape. But this is a game of interaction and it's multi-player for a reason. People complain of the game being "more solo than ever" and "not being able to help people as much as you used to". You now have an opportunity to show someone something they've probably never seen before (or at least not a lot) (and they probably look up to you if you've got them beaten in some skills) but we're coming up with a ways to teach people lessons? You're going to use the SAME time, if not MORE JUST to make someone feel bad and more than likely, they won't even know why. -People train skills to 99, sometimes ONLY for the emote. Do you think they do it so they can show themselves the emote over and over? No. -The emotes were put there for a reason. -As long as people are ASKING you and not being jerks about it, whats the big deal? If you're fighting something out in the heat of battle (where you're using the defensive bonuses), no one's going to ask you to do it out there. If you're not in the battle, and at the bank or something, either take the cape off (no defense bonuses needed at edge?) or just do the freaking emote if people ask nicely. Come on.

That may work, but it doesn't really teach them. If you're in for it for the good of society, you'd put their evil flame out before they annoy countless other people. Not to mention, it's fun messing with people. But, like I said, it IS FOR THE GOOD OF SOCIETY! Yes, I may sound a little nutty right now, but they deserve wasting their time seeing as they wanted me to waste mine. WOW, dude. WOW. I don't even have words... The reason you wear the cape is to show it off and get people's attention. If you say you're doing it for any other reason, you're full of [cabbage]. You can simply not do the emote, or do it only when you feel like it. You don't need to be a [bleep] about it.

We all agree that you were able to make more money in the past with merchanting due to the lack of 5% restrictions. Read what others are saying, it's NOT THE GE that is the problem when it comes to trading or "making triple off people who were desperate" like you could in the past, it's the restrictions of 5% that Jagex implemented, which would be in the trade window, too.

Don't know how well can rate something because it's the first day... Can't really say how hard or common it is...right? Anyway, congrats on getting the stuff.
