1. You need a green cardigan and a white skirt. I can't think of anything that will work.
2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el11DhtTVrM This is me
3. As a comparison
4. Can someone take a pic from Trollweis?
5. I feel like I saw MCL mention it, but I can't remember what he said specifically. Try looking through his thread.
6. The stand alone client is written in C++. The source is available for free on their downloads page.
7. Join the Tip.It Monster Hunting Team! We're recruiting! [pending]red_1367366399[/pending] The Tip.It Monster Hunting Team is hunting for some new, active recruits! If you're interested in being part of this gang of epic monster hunting event leaders, keep reading to learn more about the team, what we expect from members, and how to apply! About the Team The Tip.It Monster Hunting Team (TMHT) is not just about going on monster hunts; it's about leading monster hunts. Our team members are experts on monster hunting! They take leadership positions and help lead attendees on the hunt! We decide which events to put on, we work out all the details, and then we lead people during the event itself. Requirements to Apply If you're thinking about applying to join the team - that's AWESOME! Here's a list of requirements you have to meet in order to be considered: You must be P2P. You must have a high combat level. You must be knowledgeable about monster hunting (ideally not limited to just one boss). You must be a natural leader and be comfortable giving instructions. You must be a team player. You must have a Tip.It Forum account and check the forum regularly. Ideally you will have attended TMHT events before, but this is not a requirement. It is much more importance to us that those who apply are adequate leaders and can successfully run events with large numbers of attendees than it is that those who apply are experienced monster hunters. Bossing techniques can be taught; leadership and dedication cannot. How to Apply Still with us? Fab! The next step is to fill out and submit your application. Applications will be read by the entire TMHT. We will review all of them equally and fairly, and choose the best of the bunch to join our ranks! If you're not accepted, don't worry! You can still attend our events and there might be a chance that you'll be able to join the team at a later date. :) Fill out the below application and PM it to @tripsis with the subject line TMHT Application APPLICATION DEADLINE: 30th April 2013 (11:59pm GMT) [hide=Application - Read Only] [/hide] [hide=Application In Code Tags - Copy From Here!] General Information: Tip.It Forum Name: Link to Forum Profile: RuneScape Name: Please attach a dynamic stat signature to display your RuneScape Stats ( http://www.tip.it/runescape/?dynamic ): Your Qualifications: What time zone do you live in? Do not rush your application and enter in as many details as possible. Make a good first impression! You will receive a PM to let you know if your application has been accepted or rejected. Please don't expect a PM back until the deadline has passed (although you may also receive one sooner)! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to post them in this thread.
8. If I suggest the best option and then he says that he absolutely can't do that, then what you say becomes somewhat valid. Right now you're just proselytizing your belief that killing the QBD is abhorrent, even though you know that doing so would greatly benefit the OP.
9. I would add you to my ignored users if I wasn't concerned about you spreading more false information. It's absolutely ridiculous that you're trying to convince someone that killing a dragon is so unenjoyable and mind-numbing that it isn't worth doing to save several hours. If that's what you think, fine. Continue thinking that. It will bother me, but ultimately it's your choice. Just don't get in the way of the people who actually want to help the OP achieve what he wants to achieve just because you so desperately want your dogma to be recognized.
10. :wall: Are you suggesting that doing 3/4 of a QBD kill to get a royal crossbow is so not fun that it's better to just slay with a worse weapon?
11. http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.details?current-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087&current-category-id=AC523278A4F13F27A84F5F5622D1AC7A&action=init&ipromoID=uspbstrbn1y58000744& I got this one due to a recommendation from someone here and a few people irl. It's great for everything, though if you don't really care for performance in games then you might want to downgrade a little.
12. How is slaying with level 70 gear more fun that slaying with level 80 or 90 gear? How is it more afk? It's not. All you're doing is suggesting that the OP spend more time reaching a goal than he or she has too. And if you're keen on doing that, you might as well not post.
13. And C++ can be compiled into a HTML5 (JavaScript) application. See BananaBread for an example (https://developer.mo...ail/bananabread). That just allows people to write js in C++ afaik. It doesn't really give the benefits that c++ gives. I can't research it well atm so I may be wrong.
14. I'm talking with MCL when he comes back from his vacation about revealing how tasks are assigned.
15. The price jump from i5 to i7 isn't worth it ;) It appears that you can still use the java client. I'm personally not worried about performance loss - I recently bought a new toaster and it uses under 10% cpu running rs on max settings. They say you can choose the settings such that even the most powerful pcs will have trouble. I'm curious to see what that'll look like. I don't care if I can still use the java client. Those who can't run an HTML5 client should still be able to experience the benefits of a rewrite. If they just did it in C++, all computers could run it well and it would outperform HTML5 on all machines. As Mercifull said, the only reason to use HTML5 is pretty much moot.
16. "Works ok" is basically the same as "needlessly wastes hours of your life".
17. I think the biggest reason behind the HTML5 move is that it can be used on tablets and phones. Which is a pretty stupid reason to sacrifice a ton of performance.
18. Newish Riverside album that I didn't hear about until now
19. You can give as much bad advice as you want provided you warn those who might consider taking it. I don't want people thinking that x is the best option when y is better just because you said so. Perhaps add something in your signature to the effect of "Please do not take my advice seriously", or however you wish to phrase it.
20. I don't do that
